I have unfortunately had to go in here for my last four or five calibration for my lifesaver device. I usually go to Vancouver, Washington because it s closer to my house but unfortunately the shop I go to has shut down and this was the next closest one and is about forty five minutes from where I reside. Because of this experience that I m going to tell everyone about I am going to be now traveling an hour and a half to get my lifesaver device taken out because after seven years I completed my ordered requirements .:) I have had nothing but a great experience for the last seven years with all the technicians I have had except at Godfrey Autos. Everytime I go in there the guy that works there and is the owner, Jeff always has a negative, unhappy attitude. I always try to be friendly and positive to him and smile to try and make his day a little bit brighter but he never really smiles back. It s really unfortunate. Well the last time I came in for my final download which I was super excited about I had to take a super important phone call from my daughter, she s 19 and was in a fender bender and was hysterical and didn t know what to do. I was gone for maybe ten minutes at the most and when I came back Jeff was so extremely rude to me he says, where were you? I said I had a super important phone call from my daughter it was an emergency. He started being so mean to mean and raising his voice and complaining about how he had to manually put in my card now because of something with his computer. I then told him well this is my final download and then I will be not having to come back here so he won t have to deal with me anymore. He made me feel so bad for taking that call with my daughter, was completely unsympathetic and unprofessional. As I was leaving he says well this is a auto shop first and then a blow and go calibration place I just thought to myself how rude and he was being really outlandishly immature, loud and disrespectful. He proceeded to try and talk down to me and make me feel awful for taking that call and I had to basically tell him I was not interested in talking to him unless he would talk to me in a professional manner about business other then that I wasn t going to engage. I couldn t believe it I would never treat a paying customer that way. Would definitely not recommend. This man has a horrible attitude and you can tell he is just a miserable person. I gave him the benefit of the doubt but you know my instincts where right he s just not very happy and wants to take it out on whoever he can. Even his customers. It s very sad he treats people this way and I m surprised he s still in business with that type of attitude. Hope he gets something positive going for himself and is happy someday. Would not recommend his auto shop to anyone nor will I ever go there again. I told him I would be posting a review about this so I hope he reads this and makes some changes in his customer service relations. Also I read the other reviews and I am extremely shocked people have given him that many stars it s surprising to me because I could tell from the moment I met him that he was just not a nice guy. I also was told from multiple people about him before I went to his shop, but I always give people the benefit of the doubt because I don t like to believe rumors. I m also not going to repeat what they said about him because I don t like to gossip. All I can say is Man of man now do I wish I would ve listened to them. Thank you so much for reading. Sorry for such a long post I just wanted to make sure I touched all bases in regards to this experience at Godfrey s Auto works. Hope everyone has an amazing day and please please listen to my advice and do NOT go here. I don t want anyone else to endure the type of treatment I have received from ,Jeff, the owner of Godfreys Auto.

I had to drop my car off at night, because a wire to my interlock system got cut, than the next day Jeff had to loan me a gas can and give me a jump all pretty much at closing time on a Friday!!"Thank you Jeff"

If I could give negative stars I would. My parents and I were calling all around to get an appointment, apparently my mom called Jeff a couple times before I did, and that frustrated Jeff. Jeff told me I had too many people involved in the situation and hung up on me. Never picked up when I called again. How professional! Poor customer service and poor service in general.

Mr. Godfrey fixed my explorer from rattling. We are taking it back for ball joints. Great place !
