Be sure to shop around before you buy anything here. For a local business to charge 2 or even 3 times the price for the exact item that can be found elsewhere is outrageous. When I called and tried to reason with them after I confirmed the price was inflated, their employee rudely hung up on me. I ll never shop there again. BTW, I m a former mechanic at Westrock and they supposedly gave me a discount. Laughable! They deserve this poor review.

Can't say enough good about the gentleman who helped me on the morning of January 20th! I was told by another auto parts store that I would need to spend over $100 to fix my tail light, just one side! This associate steered me the right way and I spent $18 to fix both. He even came out and looked at the car, showed me what to do and sent me on my way. Thanks so much!

I was out of town and called to see if they could help replace my young daughters headlight that just burned out. I mentioned she would not be able to get there until closing. He said not a problem. He was more than happy to help and did. He ended up working past closing to help her. The employee definitely went above and beyond for us. THANK YOU!!

I needed a car part that needed to be shipped in. A week and a half later I had to call them and was told no car part. I ordered another one and the same thing happened again. It's a real shame, Baxter's used to be a really nice place to get the things you needed and now they're just like everywhere else

The staff was friendly and helpful with my automotive needs. I have used both locations in Vancouver, Wa and Longview, Wa for the past few years and always have had a pleasant experience.

Baxters was the only auto part store in longview that could actually find the part I needed for my Subaru. Their prices seem a little steep to me but overall, I am a satisfied customer. It's possible that I will do business again with them in the future

I've been going to Baxter's Auto Parts in Longview for over 10 years. They've nearly always had my part in stock or had it there quickly. The parts are of excellent quality 99% of the time. I always go to Baxter's if I need anything for my truck.

Have only stopped in once, but they had exactly what I was looking for and even showed me exactly where it was on the shelf. I've had nothing but good experiences with both this store and their store on Sandy in Portland, highly recommended.

DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS. POOR QUALITY AND LIES.I had purchased a marine starter and after waiting for it to arrive I was able to use it for four consecutive days before it failed. I brought it back and explained the problem I was told by Chester that it must have gotten wet and that the manufacturer would not cover it under warranty. I told him that was ridiculous , it had not been wet and even if it had, a marine starter should last more than 4 days regardless of how wet it gets. Chester assured me that he would send it to the manufacturer for a final determination that would take a couple days and he would call me when he received the decision. I called to checkup after 5 days and nobody had heard anything? 9 days later I showed up and asked what they had found. Chester finally came to the front and told me "They said no" and continued to lie about how it had just been returned from the manufacturer. I then called the manufacturer directly and learned that Chester had called Russ several days earlier and never actually sent the starter to them. They made their decision based on Cheaters opinion. I don't like being lied to and will not deal with this business again. During the time I was waiting for the mfg decision I found another dealer online and they sell these marine starters for HALF the price I paid to Baxters. I ordered it and received it before they had even gotten back to me with their lies.

Took my 96 Mercury Cougar here to get the power steering pump replaced. Baxter had the part and a part time mechanic did the work at the attached shop. Also had the mechanic check to see why the brand new heater blower was not working. Unlike the shop where I had them replace the blower motor this mechanic actually checked the fuse. Fuse replaced and works fine ; )

Very rude customer service ordered a part went to pick it up it was the wrong one they laughed at me like I didn t know what I was talking about for the price there is many better options in town
