Very forthright. Friendly and accommodating. They did only what was necessary, which is much appreciated. They informed me of 2 other issues that needed addressing (that they couldn't facilitate) which helped keep my truck in better running order.A very kind crew!

At the beginning of march I brought my 03 Rsx-s in with a clutch and flywheel kit I ordered directly from manufacturers (to ensure product quality). $800+ later I receive my vehicle and the shop tells me my axle is bad as well as a sensor. (Both of which were working fine when I dropped off the vehicle) I receive my key and attempt to drive away when I discover the axle has been put back in wrong. I immediately return and they confirm their mistake. Now after a weekend of waiting I received my car yesterday the 9th, new 1/2 shaft and fresh clutch/flywheel and there is now a new CEL. The shop is telling me it was "already broken before I got to them. They just broke it the rest of the way" and thats almost a direct quote.....So today Im installing a new knock sensor. And after much debate.....telling my fun little story. The owner was incredibly polite about everything though.P.s. my battery cover is missing. P.P.s. Got some new wire cutters

It s so nice to take your vehicle to a place like this, owner lady remember me from years ago and even remembered our conversation. Less than two hours, my camel is. Nissan again without spitting and farting. It was so fun exchanging stories with her, I might go back for more repairs . She is sweet and very welcoming! Thank you Service: Transmission

I was coming South out of Seattle on I 5 and my transmission started giving me trouble I couldn't shift in the gear.So I looked up for transmission shop in the area and found A plus.I called for tow truck to take me in.They got right on it they found out that I had a bad shifter and repair it and I was on my way.I would like to thank Terry the owner of the shop she's wonderful.So many times when you're traveling if you break down you feel like you can be totally taken advantage of.But instead I found a friend in Terry at a plus transmission.Terry is a woman who is a business owner in a man's business, transmission repair.I have come to learn that she has been in this business most of her life and knows it inside and out, and treats people like friend.It is so comforting to find out there are still honest business Owners out there.Thank you Terry.JK from Jackson TN

Avoid tbis place at all costs! It took them almost 2 months to even open my transmission they looked at everything else but that, saved it for last. Then when I got my rebuilt trans installed, it wasn't driving right. So I went back the next day and they checked the fluid and said "you're good to go." I still didn't feel the transmission was working right and took it to another shop, and yep! Converter clutch was slipping bad and the lock up wasn't engaging. Being I only had the truck for 3 days, and less than 170 miles on it, I didn't want to make anything worse. They didn't seem to even want to try, and refused to drive it. Then on top of this, my truck wouldn't start on day three, so when i went to jump it, I noticed a 4.5 year old battery that they had switched out for my interstate battery. Of course the owner denied it. I didn't change my battery within the 3 days of having my truck. They had it for 4 months! Don't go here with your transmission issues. You'll gain more and horrible customer service. They never called me back when the said they would, always excuses about being short handed (understandable) but talking bad about your employees isn't professional.Service: Transmission

On top of a complete rebuild of my transmission they fixed the exhaust week free of charge I am eternally grateful price was a little high but for what I got it was well worth it I would recommend this place to anyoneService: TransmissionService: Transmission

These folks were friendly, we were from four hours away, but they charged me over $800 to put a bandaid fix on my rig that didn t last even four thousand miles before I had the exact same breakdown again. Local shop fixed my rig like new and explained how they just basically put lipstick on a pig.

My husband has been taking his "Baby" here for many yrs. Baby is a '79 FORD F-100 Ranger Short-Wide, Show Truck. It's the only place he trusts for the Engine. The Owner is a wonderful woman. The mechanics are smart and nice. They don't treat you like you're stupid. The Receptionist is very helpful.

It's taken so long to write this because we couldn't think of a review worthy enough to do this team justice. They are hands down some of the best people we've ever met, let alone the best mechanics. We were just travelling through (from Australia) in a super dodgey Dodge van and it broke down right as we pulled into town. Thank goodness it did it in Longview and not anywhere else because Terry & Arnold looked after us so well. We were able to set off on a high note and couldn't shut up about them for the rest of our trip :)Thank you guys so much,Lachy & Naomi.

The owner is a very knowledgeable person and was very good at explaining what the problem was and the best option for the repair .They repaired my BMW transmission and I couldn't be happier with the results.( I definitely will recommend them to all my friends)!!

Had a torque converter replaced due to a leak cost me over 1000 dollars at a plus. transmission went out 30,000 miles later so I decided to rebuild myself and called for some advise figuring since I used them last they would be willing to give me some. Jimmy answered then hung up on me, He could have just said sorry we don't give advise.

I had a '92 Ford E4OD rebuilt here. As an early model unit it needed all the updates. I told Arnold and Teri what I wanted, and they built it! They even recommended an additional upgrade that made our transmission work WONDERFULLY for RV hauling in the mountains.I will be coming back when it's time for another trans build.

Terri and everyone who works here are the most amazing group of people. I was on a long road trip and my car broke down twice! Once in SunValley, Idaho and a second time in Astoria, Oregon.I was out of the country but had my car towed to A+ because on the phone they knew exactly what they were talking about and could get my transmission replaced the quickest for the least amount of money.When I got to Longview with my two dogs my car still needed one more day in the shop. We had no idea where we were going to stay that night due to the amount of money I'd spent on my car the whole trip. Knowing this, Terri let us borrow her car and told us about good camping spots. She turned our stay in Longview into one for the books.I can never thank everyone who works at A+ Transmission enough. They made me believe that good people are still out there. And they did a spectacular job with my car (which made it to Banff, Alberta down to Denver, Colorado after they fixed it).Thank you 100 times!!!!

Honest and helpful shop, I always consult my car problems here, even if it's not going to be worked on here. Saved me a ton of lost work and time. If your car is acting funny, you should ask them what they can do before it gets worse.

Had my Grumman worked on twice took in to have leaks fixed on transmissionPaid the first time then still leaking took back paid again now it s still leaking and really never stoped River of oil slick run out from under my food truck right into my service area customers stand in they I ask I have to tell them why it s leaking still not good for anyone wish it was fixed the first time I paid for it to be done.

These people are great. We called when our Motor home transmission failed in Rainier, OR. They sent a technician over who diagnosed a broken cable and put the transmission in drive so we could drive it to the shop and not have to call a tow truck for a 38 foot rv. Plugged us up to electricity so we could stay in the vehicle since we live in it. Stayed overtime trying to find a replacement 91 inch cable which is no longer in production. Found a special order one on the east coast and had it shipped fast. After working to get it installed it also broke. So came up with a way to put two shorter ones together and got us back on the road. And didn't charge us an arm and a leg for all the time they spent. They are the greatest.

I can t say enough positive things about these guys! We were traveling from Park City, Utah in a 2003 Ford E350 conversion van on our way to Astoria when we broke down front drive line resting on the crossbar, rear driveline disconnected and transfer case shifted! We limped into a town (Kalama pop. 2,500) and the mechanics said they could not fix our problems but recommended A+ Transmission in Longview, WA. We had the van towed there and within hours they were working on it and got us back on the road ASAP! Very honest lovely crew that could not have been more accommodating and their quality of work is the best of the best! I wish these guys were in Utah because we would have all of our vehicles worked on by this crew.Thanks again A+ Transmission! These guys truly are the best of the best!!!

Terry was amazing , the guys did an awesome job on the rebuild of our transmission. I will return to this shop if there are any future problems with the transmission, no questions asked.

Unfortunately we're not able to help me get an adapter piece for my tranny but we're pleasant and pointed me in right direction. Will definitely contact them if have any further trans issues

Referred by a friend, after getting hosed by Metro Transmission in Woodland on a rear end job, (over priced and didn't finish the job) so Terry and Jimmy took care of me. Saved me big $$$ and pointed out the lousy job from Metro and corrected it. I can't say enough about the "EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE" I received from A+.Won't go any where else the next time.

WARNING: IF YOU NEED HELP WITH YOUR TRANSMISSION DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE. I have had work done over the years around town and these guy's are the men. Hands down; for EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE about transmission problems you need to see these guy's. Trust me call them!
