Price, Quality & Service. In my business relationships, I hope for two out of three. That said, I have used Cody at Safe Havens for going on 16 years. Cody delivers on all three. Over the years, I have brought in vehicles thinking there was a problem and Cody ran his diagnostics and recommended we do nothing until the vehicle demonstrated on going issues. Early on, my wife was skeptical of this approach but now she says, Just have Cody check it he will know. Cody has serviced all of the vehicles I own or owned since moving to Leavenworth in 1995. I have been so impressed with his service, that I have referred him to dozens of friends. I am in the hospitality business here in Leavenworth, we exclusively refer Safe Havens to our guests who experience car troubles away from home. When a person experiences car difficulty 200+ miles away from home it is very stressful. When we give this referral to our guests who are in a stressful situation it reflects directly on our business how Cody and Safe Havens treats and works with them. I am completely confident in referring my guests to Cody at Safe Havens.

I was on a day journey from Kitsap County to Leavenworth to help an old friend with a special family day. On hwy 97 my van started shimmying and making strange noises. After the service, I tried to find a shop. to at least look at it but the main auto parts store said everyone was booked out two days or more but there was a shop close by that had analytics that could at least narrow down the problem. Cody, the owner and his crew did that and told me they would do the job right away. Two hours later and less than the quote I was on my way home and extremely happy they went out of their way to help a traveler.

SO grateful for Cody and the team at Safe Havens. Having a mechanic that we trust right in Leavenworth is such a gift. Cody has a great way of making you feel at ease, explaining things in a way that actually makes sense, and never pushing for more than what s needed. It s clear he genuinely cares about keeping our rides safe and not just making a buck. Whole-heartedly recommended!

We only take our cars to Cody because he always treats us well and never tries to sell us anything we don't need. In fact this last time in was for a problem with the brakes. Even though it was just out of the warranty period he found a way to get it done for us anyway. But since everyone in town knows how great they are, they're often super busy. Be patient scheduling!

Went in for an oil change and got a full diagnosis while he was under my car. Super appreciate Cody for everything! My car no longer makes crazy noises. I will be back, highly recommend.

Great shop! I ended up with a flat tire and no spare while visiting. Cody was able to shuffle a couple cars around and had my Trans Am back on the road in under an hour. Cody and his team are car guys they enjoy what they do and it shows.

Our car began running rough and losing power as we drove over Steven's Pass heading to Leavenworth for a winter getaway. Hotel staff and other locals all recommended Safe Havens Auto Repair. Cody was extremely helpful and accommodating, given our situation. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem, order the parts, and squeeze us in to his very busy schedule. With Cody's help, we were able to enjoy our weekend escape, and I've found my go-to mechanic anytime I'm passing through Leavenworth.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I am very grateful to Cody. My friend and I decided to take a mini-trip to Leavenworth which is approx. 4 hours from home. I had my brakes done at a dealership the day before we left. About an hour from Leavenworth while driving down a mountain going approx 60 mph the R/F caliper bolt came off. We limped into town. Called a tow truck (they were also excellent and fast). Got towed to Safe Havens and Cody put my car on the rack and instantly knew what had happened. Luckily, he had a bolt for my Lexus in the shop.. if he wouldn't have- my car would still be there as he would of needed to order. In and out in less than an hour. He was super friendly and very reasonable. He definitely saved our trip. I would absolutely recommend him.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

I had a brake caliper fall off my Ram 1500 on the way down from a hike in the area. Had it towed to Safe Havens Auto Repair on a Sunday night. Cody was able to get the parts locally and get it fixed before noon on Monday. Very fair price and awesome service! I could not have hoped for better service or a nicer guy to deal with in a tough situation. Highest recommendation for this business. Cody was awesome. He diagnosed the problem, had parts delivered within 5 minutes, and had me back up and running in 30 minutes. Cody even entertained all my questions, giving me a lesson under the hood for free. Very good pricing and outstanding service. Cody was extremely helpful to my teenage daughter who was traveling through Leavenworth. It was such a positive experience for her it got me thinking about bringing our cars from Seattle for service to this shop! (I don t think it ll work but I still thought about it!)

Had a low tire warning and pulled into Safe Harbor. Even though they were busy they immediately pulled us in and found the leak. Removed and repaired a nail hole and found a second nail hole. Took less than a half hour and we were on our way. OST was very reasonable!Service: TiresService: Tires

Safe Haven came highly recommended from a local shuttle company. I can see why. Cody was wonderful! We traveled to Leavenworth from out of town to go hiking, but were experiencing car troubles. Cody looked over our car to make sure that it would be safe to drive back home. He is clearly a talented mechanic with a kind heart. I would recommend him to anyone.

Cody and his team are amazing! I was on a road trip when my check engine light came on. All the mechanics in town were busy, including him. He was able to fit me in and communicated clearly what he would be doing and what was wrong with my truck. He gave me a price I thought was more than fair. Cody is a life saver. I thought my CV joint was going out (super expensive fix) but it turns out my wheel was about to fall off because the last place that worked on it didn t tighten them down correctly!I was stranded on a Sunday when no one was open and Cody, took my call and let me leave my car and was able to get it in the next day which never happens! I m used to waiting at least 2 weeks to get in. He noticed the oil was low and topped it off.He has even offered to have me bring it back in for free to double check that the lug nuts are all still tight.I feel like my car has had a thorough look through and feel much safer in the road now. I drove into Leavenworth from Seattle for the day and my tire pressure symbol lit up on the dash about 45 minutes into town. I stopped by Safe Havens Auto Repair just to see if anyone could double check the tire pressure for me. Cody presented me with kindness right off the bat and made it clear he was more than happy to help me out and only charged me $10. Not only did he check the tire pressure, but he educated me on the technology my cars tire system has, as well as re-torked the lug nuts. I had gotten all four tires replaced a couple weeks ago and he expressed how important it is to have them re-torked 50-75 miles after a tire replacement. Had I not stopped by his shop, I wouldn t have known this and could have risked one of my tires coming off. Truck threw a brake pad while on our vacation during a holiday week. After calling a nearby auto repair and getting the run around, I called Cody at Safe Havens. He said he would get to it before the end of the day if I could get it there. Long story short, Cody and his team had my truck fixed by 1pm the next day. I can't speak highly enough for the customer service and professionalism at Safe Havens. Highly recommended.Service: Brakes

My wife were in town for 3 days and on day 2 on the way down from Stevens Pass and a day of skiing, the check engine light came on. Nothing changed about the way the car handled or drove but we thought we should get it checked out anyway because we had a 4 hour drive home the next day and didn't want to take any chances that some critical hose had popped loose. It was 4pm with most garages closing around 5 and we didn't have an appointment. I called Cody and he said if we could come right over, he'd get it checked out.We arrived 15 minutes later and he quickly pulled the car in and determined it was an odd computer error he'd never seen before (a P1421 error for a Nissan for those of you who know about these things). With a little online research, we all agreed that it was likely related to driving without adequate warm up (it had been about 12 degrees the night before) and we agreed to have him reset everything. It all took about 20 minutes and we haven't had any problems since.But I was most impressed with Cody's personable and empathetic nature, not qualities you often find in mechanics. We talked together about family, life, politics for at least another 15 minutes. We left there feeling like we had a glimmer of hope for mankind and that we had a new friend. Heck, my wife even felt comfortable and obliged to give Cody a hug on our way out. He's open, honest, works fast, and doesn't overcharge. What more could you ask for in a business like this?Thanks, Cody. You're an alright dude!

Called Cody 45 minutes before they closed on a Friday with a coolant leak and my guy says come on in! Diagnosed, tested and repaired by 5 o' clock.Can't thank him enough for saving our cross country trip. My car was experiencing problems, which Cody tracked to my battery. His shop fixed the problem, which allowed me to continue my vacation without delay.What made it exceptional is that I came late in the day and he helped someone in dire need. My wife and I were coming over the pass and my truck started acting up. It was Friday afternoon and we both just knew that our weekend trip to Chelan was ruined. Just in case there was any possible way to save our break from the rat race, my wife called Cody at Safe Havens Auto Repair. He said he only had about an hour, but agreed to a quick diagnosis. Within minutes he determined that one of my spark plugs had gone bad. He and Brandon, his assistant, replaced the plug in minutes and we were on our way! Based on my experience, I would absolutely recommend Cody to anyone needing honest repairs in Leavenworth. We are extremely grateful that we stumbled upon this hidden gem in the mountains!

Our family has used Cody Havens ever since we moved to Leavenworth six years ago for a variety of different vehicles, one a few years old but most older! He and his crew are a joy to be around. If the problem is something he can fix on the spot, then it s done, often at no charge. He is a great communicator, letting you know exactly what he has found and the probable cost. Plus if it is an emergency repair, he will fit you in so you can get on your way! Highly recommend with no reservations.

Amazing service. Needed urgent brake repair before driving over Stevens Pass. No place in town had any openings. Despite being booked solid, Cody somehow juggled his schedule and called me back within an hour. He had me back on the road in just a few hours. Cody was extremely helpful. My significant other and I broke down outside of Stevens. Cody offered us some honest and helpful advice about the status of our car. It was totaled and they didn t have the gear to get it running again...however, we were also offered a safe place to keep our car overnight that contained all our camping and hiking gear and an air conditioned place to sit while we waited for a tow to Bellingham. Super nice, trustworthy, went above and beyond to make us feel cared for although we weren t paying customers. They made our unfortunate situation much easier by offering care and kindness.

Cody at Safe Havens was a life saver! Was in town in Leavenworth for the week when my 2002 Tacoma Prerunner started running rough with the check engine light coming on. He fit me into the busy schedule two days before Labor Day. Got the truck in, diagnosed and back to me within the day. Fantastic service and a great shop.
