Never even got to be seen!! They would not answer the phone. I called the department directly and I tried to be dispatched to the department and still no answer. Asked if someone in the store could ask them to answer and they refused. Then they tell me to just come in without an appointment. If you do that you gotta wait hours to be seen because anyone getting their oil changed, can NOT make appointments. Although if you get new tires you can and they are ALL helped before doing anyones oil. So if you need new tires Walmart may be great but oil changes I do NOT recommend Walmart unless you have hours of time to waste!!

I have been a loyal Walmart Tire Customer for over 10 years at this point and this establishment has made sure that I will never return to Walmart for my tire needs. My work has made me move around the country over the last 10 years and every Walmart that I have used has had zero issues with my tires.But this place, is terrible. The gentleman "at the front desk" was not there and didn't service for 10+ minutes because he "walked to the front of the store." When I attempted to order tires from the desk, he continuously tried to push me to use the App to make his job easier. When I said that the app wasn't working for me, so I came in to order my tires and to schedule an installation service, he looked at me and said that "you have to schedule an appointment for tires." When I began listing off my tire size he stated that he was going to order through a third party website, and not Walmart, so I would not get a type of warranty for it. And then when he realized that my front and rear tires are different sizes, he stated that they (the mechanics) won't install them because of the two different sizes and then walked out to the bay to "confirm" that they wouldn't install.Thank you Lakewood Walmart for ruining the reputation and my desire to ever use Walmart for my tire needs ever again.,

The local place I normally take my car to unfortunately closed. This was a convenient option to get an oil change and my headlight bulb changed (which is a listed service). Of course to my surprise the female mechanic said she didn't know what kind of lightbulb it was so she "wasn't going to change it" and "didn't know if they even carried it" but wasn't going to be bothered to look. It seems concerning for a mechanic to not know how to change a lightbulb... Two stars because it was fast and the two guys working the counter were friendly. Update thankfully, because I had to change the lightbulb myself, I was able to notice the mechanic also failed to close the cap on my washer fluid which had already spilled out onto my engine cover.

So, I bought two tires from Walmart because I had an accident and two of my tires were replaced. I had Walmart install them. They both goose egged and had to be replaced within 3 months. I was given the run around and told they couldn t find me in the system when I came in three weeks ago. Then called and couldn t get anyone to help me. Then finally said enough.They had to put my spare on while they ordered two new matching tires. When they returned the spare in my trunk they just threw it on top of all of my stuff which caused glass cleaner to explode and they damaged the particle board that goes under the trunk liner mat. It is not broken and will not hold up even the trunk liner mat.Jeff was great at trying to get me taken care of but his team is clearly not respectful of peoples property. They clearly do not do their jobs to the best of their ability. And they damage peoples property. If it were such a problem to replace it in the trunk properly they could have set it in my back seat at least. But instead they deliberately threw it in my trunk and caused damage.

FIRST THING I'LL SAY IS I GIVE THEM FIVE (5) STARS!!!I put that up on top so those people who look at reviews and don't want to read a lot will see five stars...I purchased a set of four tires from Amazon and then called the Walmart auto center in Port orchard and they were very nice and gave me an appointment to install the four tires. I showed up on time, they gave me a very good estimate of about (an hour and a half to two hours) to complete the job. during that time they called me to the front because one of the air sensors that shows the tire pressure on the dashboard had come off and also advised me that look like two of the rims were slightly bent that I should probably down the future I get two more rims. They are inexpensive! At the end, the amount was extremely reasonable, they were friendly and courteous during the whole process and I can not give them more than five stars.James M...

From check-in and out with Donte, to the service and communication from Rhonda, the tech, everything was top notch and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommended.Best to arrive before 9:00 for the shortest wait time.Service: Oil change

I just went in first thing this morning (9/8/23) for an oil change. I advised the guy at the counter and the lady who does the actual work about a repair that I'd recently done. I told them that I had cracked the engine block where the oil pressure switch goes, and that it had been sealed with a plug, and then covered completely with JB Weld.I also told them that they would see the wire that used too attach to the oil pressure switch would be seen dangling since the switch is no longer there due to the repair that was done. I told them that it is no longer leaking, but they would see oil underneath from where it had leaked before the repair.I get notified that my car is done, and get told that I have an oil leak. I told them there was nothing leaking at all and reminded them what I'd told them before the car was ever put up on the lift. I told the lady once again what the oil was from age the cause of the original leak, and she said "I'm not here to diagnose it sir." Well, pay attention when someone tells you the cause of the oil leak, and the repair that was done to correct it!! I said it twice before they ever took my keys.I look at the paperwork and sure enough, they listed the "oil leak" along with a recommendation to use a different viscosity oil, as what I was using was incorrect with the existing "oil leak of unknown origin." I'll be going to another shop to have my oil changes done from now on. On top of that, they listed my battery as "retired battery." Not sure what that was supposed to mean, but oh well.I had also requested injector cleaner which was not done for whatever reason, as well as a tire rotation which also wasn't done because the tires are "to bald and only have about 6 months left." The tires are practically new!! They need to do better. The guy and the lady also debated over whether I needed high mileage oil, or synthetic oil. How about this. Put in whatever I request!!

Terrible service here. After the manager stating give us an hour and a half for a basic oil change, it ended up taking them over 3 hours. Had time to walk the whole town of Lakewood and get lunch and by the time we got back they hadn t even started. All the service techs were just outside smoking and chatting the entire time.

Why is quality of service so poor here? The lady mechanic couldn't start my vehicle & stated "typical chevy" so I started it just fine without a verbal rebuttal. Their oil container I found out has a different label than what the contents actually are, so who knows what's really in there. Then the paperwork states declined on some services, after speaking with the representative they stated that he doesn't know why some BASIC services weren't conducted...so it wasn't declined, more like just chosen to not be conducted. Now, last time I was here they didn't have any grease guns, this time around apparently their grease guns weren't working. From 1 mechanic to another, do better, & from 1 business man to another, again do better. So much for quality in your performance, pride in your work, & customer service.

Get work done here if you hate yourself lol.Honestly, it's my fault for being cheap ;P $88 a tire is tough to beat. This review is basically "You get what you pay for." or "The faceless organization that is Walmart encourages employees to bounce their attitude off your booty cheeks (if you are into that sort of thing)".They cancelled my 8am appointment after I waited for 20-30 minutes for someone to come to the front desk and when I asked how to formally reschedule because I have work, they said to "Get over it" and come back in between 10-11am.Tires I purchased: 255/60R18 (Roughly 29 lbs each)Cancellation reason: The tires were too heavy.Job time from start to finish once a tech came in that could lift the tires: 7:50am-12:05 pm.Spoiler Alert: I was late to work.Service: Tires

40 minutes to test a battery after standing in line at the other store for 60 minutes to hear that they don t test batteries.There s not a word capable of adequately describing the pain this company deserves.

I walked in without an appointment to get an oil change. They got me right in! A super friendly man named Jason helped me out. I had just enough time to walk around the store and get some groceries before my car was ready. Definitely will be coming back here for an oil change!I have a 2011 Toyota Venza, and the price for the oil change was $55. Much better than any of its competitors.

This is a tentative review of Walmart auto care, so far they will not answer the telephone. I have called several days trying to check on my tires that have been delivered and they don't answer the phone...,, ever. I called on Sunday, I called on Monday, I called on Tuesday. Nobody ever answers the telephone there. When I drive over there the guys in person are great! the people in the garage are great!...the guy at the counter was great!.... Get somebody to answer the phone I would give them 5 Stars. I live in Tacoma downtown so it's a bit of a drive just to ask a question or two.When I get that they are super busy but the guy at the counter he could have answered phone calls in between what he was doing I mean they had a couple people standing around you know pleasantly helping people they weren't like all stressed out and over worked .... Turns out I ordered the wrong size tires anyway LOL I did get a prompt refund.

Took a set of wheels and tires there for balancing. Long story short, 1 employee said we could park there by shop door. Another employee threatened us and peeled out in another customers truck. Then they put wrong wheel weights on. I have to pay to have a non hostile tire shop redo and then complete the work.

Ordered my tires online and made the appointment when I ordered. Came in at appointment time and was immediately taken care of. If you use their website/app to make an appointment you will not have any issues at this location. I went on Saturday at 7:30 in the morning and I didn t leave until about 10am. I did not have an appointment but I did call the day before and let them know I needed a battery. I do understand the shortages in the work force but people who came in after me w/ no appointments were out before me. I thought putting a battery in was a quick job, but I could be wrong.

Wanted oil change and Tire leak repair was told it would take 4 hours. (1 hour for service no problem. But 3 hours until they could get started) And BTW don't take reservations. I off to get Lubed elsewhere!

I arrived eager to purchase a new set of tires. Since it s walmart you know the prices are low. Unfortunately, the rude service technician made it unbearable . From asking me 4-6 times what year my vehicle was, to not listening when I told her what I was looking for. I asked if she could show me a few options and I followed her to where the tires were, well almost, she slammed the gate in my face! I waited patiently for her to grab a few options so I could compare , she came back with one tire, and said I don t see what the problem is at that point I could no longer justify spending my hard earned money at a place that has such rude service. Called to report my concerns to a manager... big surprise... no one was available. I ended up paying twice what I would have paid there... but horrible service should not be tolerated.

Took my wife's car here to have the oil changed. We had just had it detailed and we're trying to sell it. We were told it would be a 3 hour or more wait. Ok, fine, a little ridiculous, but we have other stuff we need to do anyways.Get a call that it's done. Go to pick it up. The seat was covered in grease and oil from the employee's getting in and out of the car to move it. My wife goes in to complain and they say it was like that. She pulls out the detailing receipt from that same day and says that's impossible. She argued for an hour with the manager until an employee said that it may have been his fault. Only then, even with proof of the detailing being done that same day, did the manager start to work with her.Worst. Customer. Service. Ever. There is a reason it is so cheap. Spend the little bit of extra money to have a mechanics shop do it, or do it yourself. You will actually save yourself some time by going somewhere else.

The guys did a great job plugging my flat tire. They could have sold me a tire but they were honest and said I had really didn't need it. The shop was super busy but the staff were pleasant and worked quickly. I would recommend them for simple stuff.

I was the first one in line at 5 minutes till 8am. They didn t start working on my basic oil change until 9:39. No chairs to sit in as they took them away because of Covid. They expected me to stand for two hours for a basic oil change. I would give zero stars if I could. When I asked about an update the employee was extremely rude.

The staff there is good. Long waiting due to it being a Friday or the weekend. It also doesn't help with there staff calls out. There so short staffed but they make it work. They told me a 3 hour wait and I was out in a hour, they just make a rough estimate for the times. Good price on oil changes from 29.88 to 44.88 up to the first 5 qrts. Just make sure you park behind the cones on in a parking stall. DO NOT PULL UP TO THE BAY, this shop isn't like the rest they don't have one way bays. Any questions you have for this shopportunity just ask me I have be going there for many year.

Went to tire shop the guy who I spoke to was rude & couldn't be bothered to help. Didn't have the size tire currently on the vehicle, then stated if it wasn't factory spec they won't install. I don't have plack so don't know what size needed & he didn't help... Went to 56th street tires who not only had what needed at great price, where SUPER FRIENDLY & FAST!!!!

Watch out for the old Manager he has the worst customer service skills I've seen in a while. He likes to argue, talk down to you and just overall very unpleasant to work with. How he is the manager of the auto department is very far beyond my human comprehension.The tires are definitely cheaper here, though, that's why I tried coming here but the manager makes it almost impossible to get anything done.
