Management needs to do something about the transients that sit outside their parking lot. I live in the neighboring complex and our fence has been kicked in several times.Often I get woken up from the transients sitting out of sight behind the loading dock. They leave trash, human waste, paraphernalia, and other bodily fluids.It's absolutely disgusting and has had a massive impact on mu mental health.Please fix this problem or close this business. Take some pride to have a shop on this neighborhood or leave.The inaction is causing stress for my neighbors and myself. Please hire security or stop the transients from sitting in YOUR loading dock.Update 1/30/2024The problem was addressed after calling the Lakewood police department, Orilieys manager. By address I mean they cleaned up the filth once and again they are allowing it to spread. After they cleaned it shopping carts, little alcohol bottles and litter made its way back into my complex. Now people are tagging our fence and the side of the building. The property owner needs to hire security.

I've been here before a couple of times over the years, no problems. Today I needed a new battery for the van. Again, no problems. Price was OK. Shout out to Brittney who did a great job finding the right battery and than installing it for me, on what was a very cold day.

I stopped in to get a tail light bulb, and Jose came out and helped install it. I know nothing about car repair, so he made sure I was good to go. This is why I continue to come back. Kudos Jose@@ thank you so much!

My neighborhood go-to auto part store. Always polite and spoken to right upon entry. May not always have what I need (damn BMW's) but I still try there first just to check.And that's what good customer service will get you............a "returning" customer. Bus.101 class over for the day.Bye Bye

They really need to get their phones checked. I was on the phone with them discussing the oil filter that I had purchased and the call was dropped not once but twice by two different employees so I was told that it s the phone system there. Maybe they should check that and fix it since dropping calls on your customers in the middle of a conversation really isn t good business it s just my opinion.

Very disappointed with the customer service with this employee. Came in looking for parts and this man was condescending and rude. We brought in a part and a receipt, specifically asked for the exact part but he continued to ask details about the truck. When we were unsure of an answer he told us that "we see the list" when asked the engine information. He then told me when I asked if he could look up the part by the receipt I handed him, he told me I was "not going to tell him how to do his job. That's what I'm not going to do."Very unpleasant experience!

I'm a commercial customer my account is with ready set tow, I wanted to say crystal the assistant manager at the steilacoom store 3626, is amazing and very trusted was very sad to see that she hasn't been promoted, as I used to be a assistant manager for the 72nd store 3517, you have a real person there and would do very well as she is now. She gets five stars every time I go in there for any of my needs. I get the right part every single time I go in there she's one of the best!

Great service. I bought my battery there, and when I brought it back because I was having issues with it, she replaced it with no questions asked. O'Reilly is my go-to parts store.

Super disrespectful interaction with an employee named, Lake. I purchased products at the Orting location a few days prior. I then found the same products on Amazon for way less. Mind you, I wasn t returning everything Just what I got a better deal on. Since I live down the street from this location, I figured it d be easier to come here. I walked in and said, hello to a gentleman named, Lake. I proceeded to ask, if it was an issue if I returned the products here. Mind you- they are un-used. I saved $14 on Amazon!!!. His response was Kind of visibly annoyed and with a condescending chuckle, he proceeded to cut me off! Before I could explain why I was there; he said loudly and rudely - What s the issue with the products Mam!!! I said- I got them cheaper on Amazon. He scanned the products, and said it should be ready for you , handed me my receipt and didn t say another word! He was clearly upset I returned products like it was coming out of his paycheck. Lake, I ve spent thousands and I mean THOUSANDS of dollars over the years at O Reilly s. I ordered wax online through Amazon, and realized I could save money purchasing the same products through Amazon. Period. Maybe next time you could be friendlier to a paying customer! That s right! Paying. You acted like a child, it was un-called for a bizarre.

My daughter came to me telling me her car wouldn't start. Gave her a jump and brought it up to the O'Reilly Lakewood location. Was immediately addressed by a very nice gentleman named Frost. I explained to him what happened and he called for back up to run the store and brought a box with him outside to my daughter's car. He tested the battery, the alternator, and starter. Told me everything passed except the battery. Told him I would like to buy a battery but I'm not sure how to install it. He said ma'am don't worry I could do that for you. He had it done within 5 mins and we were on our way. Oh yeah I forgot to mention it was close to closing and he did not rush me at all and was polite the whole time.Frost was the best. Thank you for all you do.The Gonzalez Family

I only go if I have no other options or I'm in a rush. They'll hang up on you on the phone, they'll be rude to you in person. Some of the worst service I've ever received at any business. I am quite confident that their four star rating is not legitimate

outstanding customer service at this store location. stopped in the other day as my windshield wipers weren't doing a good job.the clerk there took the time to help me cross reference all the possible combinations of wipers and after ringing me up they even offered to help me install them.

..Had to return an item--- and I must say, I was totally amazed with the transaction.. No problems whatsoever. Outstanding Manager (Lauren) was so professional and customer oriented. ..We would also like to give a great SHOT-OUT for Crystal --- the store clerk who also very, very helpful... Thank you O'Reillys ..!

Absolutely wonderful staff members working Sunday, August8th. I came in about 1830. Both of them helped me with my army equipment that I had to unscrew and they were so kind about it. It made my day. Thank you to both of them! I wish I had their names but I was in a bit of a hurry. Hopefully this gets to them!

About some windshield wipers there turn the time of December when we have snow in Tacoma Washington allowed to receive or can remember what I did with it so went to return it because it was too big for the window and they had told me that without the receipt they can help me but they were very well polite the manager when he came in he still gave me new windshield wipers even though I can't find my receipt and I couldn't find it on my my bank statement but then I found the later on when I got home and one of my other accounts but they really did help me out and gave me a new ones even without the receipt at first the guy that worked at couldn't do it but the guy who runs the place say yes he could and they were nice and was a blessing they put them on for me very good experience there I do shop there and I will go back again thanks to the guys

Last night my wife and I went to O'reilly's on Steilacoom Blvd. in lakewood wa. to buy a part that what I thought was going to fix her car. I was rude to both staff as I was displacing my frustration about the broken car onto both men working there but they responded professionally and nice despite my acting like a big time a$$. Not only did they refrain from responding to me like I did (rude) but they totally helped me fix my wife's car and stopped me from buying what I thought I needed to fix the car!!!!. The 2 O'reilly staff brainstormed and looked on the computer what to do about my car then collaborated with each other and came up with a solution that completely fixed our vehicle!!! By doing so they also saved us alot of much needed money. They basically installed the parts for us and fixed the problem and tought us how to do it next time100% The 2 staff explained to my wife & i their logic as how/why they figured out what was wrong with her car. They did all this despite my being rude to them for the first 2 or 3 seconds I walked into the store. When I got into work this morning I was B-Sing with my co-workers and told them about this good experience at O'reilly and i $hit u not!!!...2 out of the 6 co-workers I was talking to knew what 2 O'reilly staff I was talking about (the store is 1/4 mile away from my work) and both co-workers said they had similarly good experiences with the same 2 O'reilly's staff as well!!! a very short time ago!!! I know this sounds hard to believe but its true! Either theses 2 men act like this ALL the time or it's just a huge coincidence.I strongly suggest O'reilly management does what ever it can to retain and/or promote these 2 men as their behavior is a demonstration of what it looks like to bemodel employees and good human beings. Thank you. Idk the O'reilly's staff names but one of them I believe is an African American man and the other man is brown in complexion. Thank you O'reilly's staff.

I came in Sunday Night after calling about 1 hour before closing, I had just had a new battery put in my car, but had to have it Jump-started 3 times, and once to get to O'Reilly's. Mr. Frost was extremely thorough and Professional he checked my charging systems and asked me many questions about the New and the Old battery. He then sold me a Super Cable Jumper Pack, which enabled me to get to work, and then to get my car to the shop without towing. It turns out the problem was a bad alternator. Many Thanks to O'Reillys, and Mr. Frost--- Talk about Customer Service---Wow !!

Awesome customer service! Every time I come in David and Crystal are so helpful they know exactly what I need help me find everything. Definitely the best auto parts store in the Pacific Northwest hands down. Very professional and easy to talk to.sometimes if you don't know much about cars people can be a little condescending but not with David and Crystal they make it easy on you and don't try to sell you things you don't need

I needed a locking gas cap before a road trip and called O'Reilly on Steilacoom Blvd. They did not have one that fit my car on hand, but ordered one and I picked it up that day. Awesome customer service.

Good service, nice selection of general automotive products, tools and such. The service is why we go here though. I had to replace a fuse. I bought them and tried to pop it in before I left. I quickly found out I grabbed the wrong kind. Turned back around and quick exchange later, were on the road again in a few minutes.

My daughter's car wouldn't start, so she had it jumped and drove it to the Lakewood O'Reilly's. Frost tested her battery and alternator and determined that her battery was the problem. He sold us a new one and even helped us install it!Thank you, Frost! Without you, I would have had to watch YouTube videos or asked a random stranger to replace the old one. You saved me a lot of time and energy!

The guys here are super helpful. They took the time to help me order the part I needed, called as soon as it came in, and we're friendly and pleasant while doing so. Nice people, clean store, knowledgeable staff... hard to beat that.

I went in looking for headlight bulbs. I was going to look up the model I need in the book, but the clerk practically begged me to let him look them up in the computer. He put in the wrong trim of my car and sold me the wrong part. He also upsold me an item without my consent. When I got home and started looking up the tutorial on how to change the bulbs, I realized the error and went back.Instead of admitting his error and fixing it, he started arguing with me. He asked me what month the car was made, and said that would make a difference. At that point, instead of replacing the part, I just wanted a refund, and I'd get my bulbs somewhere else. He then started asking for my personal information (i.e. phone number) to process the refund, stating "it's required." When I refused, he was able to process it without the refund.Everything about this experience was handled horribly wrong by the clerk. I would never go back.

Such great costumer service. I went in for an headlight last night and this awesome lady helped me figure out what ones would be best for my car and how to change it. Never had a bad experience here!!!

very unhappy! I ordered a part on Tuesday and it was supposed to be here Friday afternoon. I had to pay for the shipping and the part in advance and it is still not here a week later. I was treated rudely on the phone on Sunday when they told me the part would be here today at 9 or 10am. Showed up to pick up the part at 10:10am and the part is still not there. Bad customer service in my book. I'm will never use this location again. I might even stop using O'rielly's all together.

I needed to be jumped by AAA to even make it into this store due to an extremely dead battery. I was helped by Suzanna W. who assisted in finding the battery for me. I bought it and she helped me out to my car, but when I asked for assistance installing AFTER telling her I didn't even think my car was going to start again, she acted like I had put a huge inconvenience on her already full plate. I was one of two customers in the store- the other was being helped by the other woman working. She stated the service is available dependent on man power and it was only her and the other woman and she was just about to send the other woman on break so there was no way she could do it. I was driving with my one year old in the car and needed help to make it home safely and she was more concerned with lunch breaks. I spent nearly $200, not $10, and was offered a jump if my car wouldn't start. I figured, given my situation, this would have been a no brainer task ESPECIALLY since they offer that service to people buying batteries! Had I not been so desperate I'd have asked for a refund and taken my business elsewhere. I was very disappointed by their service and do not plan to return.
