Great experience in all regards. Ryan is an expert in his trade as well as a genuinely nice guy. After having bounced between two other local garages for the last year, Ryan was able to diagnose and repair an intermittent and highly elusive issue with my older Accord. He'll be my family's mechanic of choice for all our Honda and Acura service from now on. Thanks again!

Ryan is fantastic. I took my 2016 Honda HR-V to him for a second opinion after I got a truly outrageous estimate from a dealership that will remain nameless. Ryan was able to quickly and correctly diagnose the actual issue which was a 10th of the cost. He was responsive the whole time and really listened and was clearly very knowledgeable and transparent. I will be taking my car to him exclusively from now on. I can t recommend enough.

I am so happy to have found the H Shop! I easily scheduled an appointment online for a routine oil change and filter replacement. The owner, Ryan, was incredibly friendly and transparent about all costs. Communicating via text and email was simple and efficient. The service was quick, yet thorough, much like the summary Ryan gave about the condition of my car upon pick up. I no longer dread going to get my car serviced, as the prices are fair and I know my car is in good hands.

I have been coming to the H shop since Todd was the owner, and Todd was excellent. This is the first time I brought my minivan into Ryan, the new owner, and he might be even better (I don't mean to malign Todd, after all, back then, I wouldn't have been able to think of anything he could improve). My Odyssey minivan needed a lot of little-to-medium maintenance after years of neglect (2 1/2 itemized pages of work, from an oil change to a new timing belt). Ryan was fast, having it all done twice as fast as expected. He uses email and texting to communicate efficiently, and new web tools that make it easy to schedule and describe your service needs. Super friendly. He took before-and-after pictures of the work and then took the time to show and explain what the pictures showed, that's something I've never experienced before. As before with Todd, Ryan has carried forward the high quality service I've always experienced at this great little shop.Services: Auto body & trim repair, Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto battery replacement, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Side view mirror repair, Wiper blade installation, Auto maintenance, Battery, Oil change

The owner is a stand-up guy who not only genuinely cares about the quality of his service, but also the customer s best interest. He went above and beyond for my service. He s earned a new customer for as long as I own Honda/Acura.

Ryan, the new owner of The H Shop did a fantastic job servicing my Honda CR-V for it's 100k mile service. Although the business is under new ownership, rest assured that the quality and professionalism is there and that your car is in good hands. The pricing for what was done in the service was also incredibly fair, and he took the time to let me know what to be mindful of for the next service. I will be coming back for any additional tune ups or maintenance needs!Update: Ryan is wonderful and I still highly recommend his services! He's a pleasure to work with and I trust him completely with my Honda.

Ryan was amazing! Had my car towed to his shop on a Wednesday and told him that I was moving that Saturday so there was no hurry. He had it diagnosed the following day and completely fixed Friday night. It was a rather large repair involving the timing chain and a new starter. 1000% recommend Ryan and the H Shop to everyone. He is professional, communication is thorough and quick. Repairs are done for a fair price and done well. My Accord runs like it did when I bought it.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

My experience at The H Shop on multiple occasions and multiple cars has been great! Each time Ryan is able to talk with me about my cars, what needs to be fixed, and what he recommends. Reasonable prices, much cheaper than the dealership, and it just gets done when he says it will. He's given me great recommendations on body shops and tow services, too. Found my car unable to start one morning. Called Ryan and he had me try a few things while on phone to see if battery or another issue. Very patient and great customer service! I was able to jump car and get it to Ryan shortly after 5p. He tested and replaced with a new battery on the spot and had me on my way quickly. Very reasonably priced, and great customer service. Ryan made a frustrating situation go so much easier than anticipated.Service: Battery

Todd, was my go mechanic for my 2006 Element, for almost a decade. I was lucky enough to get a referral to him from another Honda owner. My car has over 350,000 Mike's on it and Todd was key to that. I moved out of the area. I saw a negative review and I assure everyone, Todd was never rude to anyone. I am reasonably sure if Todd sold his life's work to Ryan, it was with a great deal of confidence that his legacy of excellent, qualify service at a fair price would continue. Todd, I hope your enjoying retirement. Ryan, best of luck to you.

New owner of a 1987 Honda Accord. Was having issues with the car starting, called to make an appointment and was seen same week, where other places were booked out about 2 months. Ryan diagnosed the issue within 20 minutes, was clear and communicative about the work needed and cost, and got it all fixed up same day (needed a new main relay). Car still has a bit of a lag in starting (to be fair, it s older than me) but has not failed to start once since! Will definitely recommend and return.

If you own a Honda, you should know this shop. I actually drive out of my way to continue bringing my business here. The service is thorough, friendly, efficient, and professional. The quality of work is exceptional, and the prices are very reasonable.Having been gouged by dealership mechanics and cheated by unscrupulous ones, knowing the owner and operator of this place is honest and hard working gives me peace of mind you don't often get in many garages.This is an excellent place to take your vehicle. The owner is willing to work with you to keep within your budget, and I've always been happy with how well my vehicle performs after they've taken care of it.

Friendly service, great communication. Additional repairs were suggested and I was able to decline or accept which services I wanted. Everything was explained to me in detail. Very reasonable price. I will be returning here for all maintenance on my Honda. Thank you!

Highly recommended. Ryan is a courteous, skilled professional, reasonably priced, and honest.We bought a used Civic for our daughter and took it in for a general inspection before turning it over to her. Ryan went over every aspect of the car and gave us a comprehensive report of what he had checked, with pictures where appropriate. He then accomodated our schedule by fitting us in to fix an oil leak the next day, although he was already booked up.The shop itself is clean and modern. Ryan does not try to upsell or frighten you into unnecessary repairs. Great customer service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I was forced to look for a place to repair my Honda Odyssey after a terrible experience at a dealership and I took my car to The H Shop after reading others' reviews. Ryan was able to diagnose the critical repairs the car needed along with pictures and he was able to handle all the repairs professionally at a reasonable price and time. After having gone to my car dealership and being lied to about a ton of work my car needed I was feeling a bit defeated about finding an honest place I could take my car to. Not knowing much about cars puts you in a vulnerable position of constantly being lied to about work your car doesn t actually need, luckily I found Ryan here at The H Shop!Ever since I started coming here Ryan has been extremely kind, patient, and very informative of everything that he does. When I bring my car here I know that I will not be bamboozled into some thing I don t need.Ryan is honest and very clear about what and why my car needs something. I think I now know and understand more about my car than I ever have in the past. I have since sent my mother to see him and will be referring all my family and friends as well!Thank you Ryan!

Wow, I just took my 2003 Accord in as thought it needed a new AC Compressor, Ryan found an easier leak fix and saved me a much bigger bill. Great to find a honest mechanic that recommends what is needed and quotes a very fair price. Took so much of his time to show me and explain everything (even sent pictures of needed repairs and competed work). Best mechanic experience I've had!I could go on, but just go there.

Ryan is great! I had previously been taking my CR-V in to see Todd at the H Shop and I can assure you Ryan upholds the same professionalism and expert industry knowledge. He quickly diagnosed the problem with my vehicle and was extremely detailed and honest and even provided photos of the work he did! If you have a Honda or Acura, this is without a doubt the place to go!

My driver side lock got busted by some thieves, and Ryan was able to fit me in on pretty short notice and source the right part. I was in and out in about an hour and a half, and my car locks and arms the alarm properly again. Ryan is very transparent about what he's doing or going to do, and if/when I move down here permanently I'll definitely take my Honda to him for work.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Ryan changed my ignition on my 2008 Odyssey. I once had 1 key now I have 3 lol the guy does amazing work. Really respectful with time management and communication. Would let him work on my MDX soon! His prices do beat the dealership.

Ryan was great! He listened to me and my car. He showed me exactly what was going on under my car! He didn't charge me for topping off my power steering fluid. He also didn't think an expensive service was necessary at this time. I highly recommend the H shpo. I would refer to anyone who owns a Honda or Acura.

Todd has provided excellent service! He was upfront about what needed to be done and what we could wait a few months before taking care of. His office is clean and his service is friendly. I appreciate Todd's honesty, his thorough work and will feel confident returning to The H Shop the next time our van needs a repair! Added bonus, he uses all Honda parts without the high price of going to the dealership. I highly recommend The H Shop.

The HONDA Shop - This is the same business as the legacy Honda Shop that was located in the exact same premises previously. Owner/Operator Ryan is an excellent mechanic and diagnostician, is honest and open, and doesn't try to shame you into fixing every little issue like the dealership service centers will. Ryan will actually recommend deferring repairs to save customers money on vehicle issues that are not critical.The H shop is extremely communicative, responding to emails, texts, and calls all in short order. They also document work and failed parts/findings with very clear photographs and narratives, so it is not a mystery what has been done to your vehicle when you get it back from them. They even use a web-based work management system so that customers can review and authorize or decline work from a computer or smart phone.I brought in a 2005 Honda CRV that needed some TLC in a few areas including a failing AC system, a failed knock sensor, and a failed condenser fan and radiator fan. Ryan also documented a few oil leaks, a loose body part that was causing an annoying rattle, a failing engine mount that was causing some noise, as well as some suspension parts that are on the way out. Ryan was happy to chat on the phone and text with me to help me decide what to fix. Once I had made decisions about accepting/deferring work, Ryan had it all inspected, diagnosed, estimated, repaired/replaced, tested, and back to me in a matter of days, and that included the time it took for parts to ship!Absolutely recommended.
