It would take pages to explain the recurring problems I experienced with my Ford Escape & the dealerships so I will simply say the following about Summer s:1. Excellent work. Brought my Raptor in for the dreaded cam phaser issue and Summers worked with me and my warranty company to make sure the job got done right. They worked with the warrantee to get the new 21 cam phasers installed vs the older gen which are destined to break again. Very detailed oriented, photographs and details every step of the way and the shop is immaculate. Thank you Raya and team - my truck is so much fun to drive again. It s never sounded so good.

Took my car here to get some work done and I was very satisfied with their work! Raya is super friendly and easy to talk with, the prices are fair and they were quick to get my car in and worked on! Overall highly recommend!

I reached out to Summers Auto for a quote on repairing my CV axle and asked if they could replace the part as soon as possible, as it was a safety issue. I dropped off my car the next day, they provided the full quote over the phone and had me sign off on it, and got the job done before 5PM. During the repairs, they provided me with a loaner car and made the entire process from start to finish very seamless.Raya is very knowledgeable about cars, confident with answering questions, and provided updates about the repairs every step of the way. I had no doubt in my mind that my car was in good hands, and she also recommended other safety-related repairs and maintenance on my car that has almost 200k miles on it. I am so appreciate to Summers Auto for providing fair pricing and getting the job done so fast. Thank you!!

Okay, I was having high hopes for this place based on reviews but first interaction with the woman who answered the phone put a sour taste in my mouth.I simply wanted to get a quote on a transmission drop and fluid refill 2018 C43 AMG 9 speed trans, per owners manual and standard AMG owner knowledge to get done by 60k miles. Easy peasy.I then am proceeded to be interrupted and began getting lectured on it should be replaced sooner than that depending on driving style etc (aware and fair point) and I may need to replace other things etc etc all on one breath. She also needed to know what transmission is in it etc to get a quote and that also affects how often to replace fluid (I still haven't been able to get a word in or am interrupted admidst giving her the license plate for her to confirm vin/transmission 7 vs 9 speed).I then had to talk over her to let her know I gave her the plate to confirm trans speed/type but she had continuously spoken over me during her pitch.Not great customer service not a great taste in my mouth treating all customers as if they know zilch about their cars (most don't to be fair, but many do, just don't assume).

An HONEST auto repair/service company is typically hard to find. At Summers, you will find that owners Raya & Yan, and all of their techs are of the highest caliber and will fix your car right the first time. They provide detailed estimates, with photos, via email or text to enable you to make a decision on how to proceed--and they are happy to give advice if you are cash poor on what is critical and what can wait. They also have a loaner car. I have been going to Summers for two decades (when Jeff was the owner) and have never been disappointed--and the newer owners (3yrs+) continue the exceptional service tradition. I take both of my cars there and I am always happy to make a referral as they work so hard to deserve my business! And they are locals--support your local business owners, ALWAYS!

Raya has great customer service but I won t take my car here again for any further repairs. Did a good break job in the rear, but it took them a week and a half to get it done. I also had a minor radiator leak that somehow turned into a major leak to where I can t even drive 1 mile down the road without overheating when it wasn t doing that before I brought my car there, not to mention the fluid that was overloaded and sprayed all over my engine and other parts under the hood. Obviously they tweaked a radiator hose to have me come back and give them an extra $1,000 on top of the $600 break job I already paid them for. Word of advice, don t take your car her if you don t want your time wasted and to be lied to. Do your homework and get several quotes on repairs before being overcharged and taken advantage of.Services: Auto brake repair, Vehicle Inspection, Brakes

I had been told my car might have a blown head gasket, but every mechanic I contacted seemed to have at least a two-week wait. Raya got me in for a pressure test and head gasket test the very next day, and was even able to accommodate my work schedule so I could pick up my car during my lunch break. And when the techs were looking over my car and found that the lower control arms needed replacing, they were able to order the parts and do the repairs just a day later--again while accommodating my work schedule. Great service, friendly staff, and reasonable pricing!

Took my Jeep in for a tune up & AC service. On the way home, wife s check engine light came on (needed new battery). Not only did they have us bring it in, but also gave us a loaner to get home while they did the diagnostic & ordered the new battery. Really can t ask for better service. Raya was absolutely wonderful!

Raya is very sweet and will work with you to get your car fixed as soon as possible. I also really like how easy they make it to see an itemized list of all the things you need fixed and their level of urgency. Summers is a great option if you re in need of a car mechanic.

Hands down the best service shop in Kirkland. I had an extended warranty from Ford and the local Ford Dealership did not want to work with the extended warranty company. But Raya was not only willing to work with them, but made sure I was updated on every process of the service. Hands down honest and great to work with. They said I might have to replace a seal when they replace the transmission that was not part of the warranty, but after the replacement they said it was good and I didn't have to pay for it. Honesty right! I will definitely bring my van back to them again.Service: Transmission replacement

My previous mechanic moved to a very inconvenient location so I was on the hunt for new place to take my 2008 Nissan Frontier. After several internet searches I decided to stop by and talk to Summers Automotive as it was conveniently located on my way to and from work.Raya the front desk person was very friendly and got me scheduled for a diagnostic to figure out exactly what was going on with my aging truck. They also have a couple of loaner cars that they let you rent (inexpensive) so you're not stuck without your vehicle.After a thorough diagnostic they found many issues with my vehicle. Oil change, brakes (all 4) battery, radiator leak and heater issues (the reason I brought it in). Raya helped me prioritize the issues and schedule them when I could afford them. After 3 separate visits, (had to space things out for my finances) my truck is safe and running great again!I highly recommend Summers Automotive. They have excellent, friendly customer service, perform great work on your vehicle in a timely manner. This is the best auto service! I got an old car with high mileage. I ve been here twice, one for oil leaks and one for engine problems. They were able to fix them real quick and had some other small issues fixed as well. Raya was really warm kind, she understands your situation and explains things to you very detailed. Eventually they even replaced the spark plugs for free! That s was really nice and my car is back to normal now, cheers.Services: Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

Been taking my cars to their shop to get serviced for quite some time now. Recently, I took my 4Runner in since there was oil all over the engine. I asked them to locate the leak and repair. They ended up replacing my valve cover, and cleaned the engine everywhere under the hood from top to bottom. They went above and beyond with this particular service! Other things they have done in the past include replacing the transmission in one of my cars, swapping out the differential fluid, replacing my power steering rack, to name a few jobs. They're extremely easy to deal with, price out their jobs fair, and only do what is necessary. I have nothing but great things to say about this trustworthy shop, and would highly recommend people give them a try. Great experience with Summers Automotive. We had our car in to the dealers for a recall and the dealer gave us a list of suggested maintenance items. Summers went through the list and carefully checked what we did and didn't actually need. They found a few things the dealer missed and completed everything we really needed for a much better price. Fast, friendly and great communication with some helpful suggestions for preventing future rodent infestations under the hood!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Battery, Oil change

What can I say, after reading a couple reviews I decided to try this place and Wow they took pics of everything wrong with my car and found the real culprit to my transmission not shifting correctly on my LX470, it was just electrical wiring that was Corroded, They even tested my solenoids and they all checked out, they didn t try and sell me a brand new transmission or any thing else out of this world. Very honest and transparent place to bring your Lexus or Toyota. Obviously will be back for the other things I need taken care of.Services: Transmission, Electrical

Summers Automotive outstanding service and quality of work truly stands out compared to other auto repair shops.I brought my Honda Civic to Summers with very noisy and worn out brakes. An inspection was performed and Summers text me the complete findings (with pictures) and price estimates with recommended urgent maintence issues that needed attention.I was instantly able to approve or disapprove the work I wanted done.I had complete front brakes, partial rear brakes, and a cracked serpentine belt replaced at Summers at a reasonable price.Summers is professional, helpful, friendly, and very personable.Highly Recommend!Service: Brakes

Summers Automotive saved me thousands of dollars on a transmission repair recently. My Toyota Sequoia's transmission started slipping one day. Before I could get home, all of the warning lights went on and the vehicle wouldn't shift past 3rd gear. I had it towed to a transmission shop, who told me I needed a rebuild that would cost $6,000. Wanting to get a second opinion, I brought the vehicle to a Toyota dealership, which was a waste of money (they couldn't figure out what was wrong and told me their technicians don't know how to work on transmissions). I called Summers Automotive and they were incredibly helpful. They recommended replacing the transmission with a used one, but wanted to diagnosis my vehicle before making the expensive part purchase. Yan was able to pinpoint the issue to a failed solenoid. He replaced the solenoid for a fraction of the cost of a transmission replacement and now my Sequoia is good as new! I just towed our travel trailer to eastern WA and back with the whole family, which shows the level of confidence I have in the repair work. Thank you again !!!!Service: Transmission

I bought a used car with a warranty. A week later my engine light came on. After getting the run around and being out $1,300 , I decided to go to a different mechanic. I found Summers Auto online, decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did. Not only did Raya walk me through my warranty. She also followed up with the warranty people insisting that my car get fixed right. Even the warranty company said Raya and Yan ,(the mechanic) were so thorough, they covered it all. Since then, my car has been running great, and they now have earned all my business from here on. I HIGHLY recommend Summers Automotive. Summers is great! I've been going to them for 3 years. I feel like they are honest with me, have good prices, and go the extra mile to provide good service. They're straight up about whether a certain service is needed or just beneficial.[3 years ago] They fixed my car in a reasonable amount of time, for a reasonable amount of money. I was also very pleased with how they answered my questions. I felt they were honest with me, and treated my car well. They were recommended to me by a family member, and I am very glad I went to them!

I first brought my Jeep Liberty to Summit Automotive in 2018. They have not only been extremely helpful in fixing issues and standard maintenance with my car; but have been able to explain and show what needs to be taken care of, and in what order, as if it were their own car. They are also flexible with scheduling, which is helpful since I m out of town a lot for work. I will continue to bring my Jeep to Summit Automotive, even though I moved from Kirkland to Bothell. I asked them to evaluate my vehicle to ensure it was road ready for a trip across the state in the heat. They took the car in quickly and provided their findings in a professional manner. I wanted the brakes checked as well. They provided their findings in a detailed format for my review and approval of items that I requested done at this time. I was very happy with the results of the repairs. I will be taking any future car repairs to their shop in the future.Services: Brakes, Oil change

Amazing service! Summers Auto was able to schedule a used car inspection last minute and did an excellent job walking me through any issues. The information they gave me allowed me to make an informed decision on the purchase and everyone was great to work with. Would recommend this shop to anyone in need of auto repair. I own a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which I bought new160,000 miles ago. The entire drive chain has been flawless and is still untouched. I entrusted the very few things I could not do myself to Olympic 4X4 Supply in Snohomish, WA for years. Olympic, due to its' superior service record has become overwhelmed with business and has a long wait list for its service work. The owner, a close friend, recommended Summers to me and I took the recommendation seriously. Summers is much more convenient to where I live as well. I was not disappointed in the least. They are prompt, courteous, do excellent work and their prices are very competitive. I have now found a new location for all my Jeep service and have recommended them to a number of my friends.
