Probably the single most important thing for me when going to an auto repair is Trust. I want to know that they want to give me the best work at a fair price.I have had almost nothing but poor experiences at auto dealerships so I'm naturally skeptical.However, Jay's did a great job on my car. They did work that made sense for me financially for the long term by replacing both front break calipers and rotors instead of just the one to save on expensive labor costs.The brakes look and feel fantastic.I will definitely keep them in mind for any future work.

Jay s was truly amazing to work with! I couldn t find anyone via my insurance to get my car in for repairs in less that 60 days and Jay s was recommended by a friend and they were able to get me right in. They were extremely communicative throughout the whole process, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. They did a fast, but thorough job. I ll definitely go to Jay s for any future auto needs. Thank you!

When I had a battery issue with my car, Jay's got me in the same day despite me having called them in the afternoon (and not early in the morning).They could have told me I needed a new battery and I probably would have believed them, but they were honest and told me they found the battery simply needed to be charged. To top it off they didn't even charge me.This was my first experience with Jay's. I very much appreciated their honesty and the favor they did me, and I will consider them in the future for my automotive needs. Well done!

Great team doing great work. Everyone I spoke with was friendly, knowledgeable and explained things clearly. Got me in quickly for a radiator issue & fixed it up just as fast. No pressure to do unnecessary work. As a gal with only dad s hand-me-down knowledge of cars, I appreciate having an honest and comfortable place to get auto work done.

I trust these guys. Great experience, communication and follow-through. Able to rebuild a large part of our Toyota FJ engine with care and attention to detail - and in a more than reasonable time period.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the exceptional service provided by Jay's Kirkland Auto Care. My car broke down near their location, and despite it being close to closing time, they were incredibly friendly and accommodating.Upon calling them, I was greeted by a friendly staff member, who immediately assured me that they could take care of my car. I was relieved to hear this, especially considering my car is an old Accura.I was called back by Scott the next day and his communication throughout the entire process was outstanding. He patiently walked me through the issues with my car, explaining everything in a way that was easy for me to understand.Not only was their customer service top-notch, but they also managed to get the job done quickly. I was impressed by their efficiency and professionalism. The fact that they were able to fix my car in such a timely manner was a huge relief for me.I cannot express enough how grateful I am for their flexibility. Despite it being near closing time, they didn't hesitate to help me out. This level of dedication and willingness to go above and beyond for their customers is truly commendable.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the service provided by Jay's Kirkland Auto Care. Jay s is the best! I ve been going there for at least 15 years and consistently had excellent service and care for my car. The shop is modern and clean but the service is old-fashioned and real.

GREAT experience going to Jay's autocare in Kirkland! I highly recommend them! In the past I've had such a hard time finding a shop with guys that I can trust and that will fix my car correctly without having to take it back multiple times and over charging me! I've finally found a place to go to for my car repairs that I can feel confident in them taking good care of me and my car!! They even guarantee their work for two (2) years!! LOVE THEM!! THANK YOU!!

Service was so great! Dave was so helpful and upfront when talking about repair cost(not trying to add service fees here and there at the end). They fixed it same day and my car hasn t been leaking since!

My 1st time oil change here. engine oil dipstick color made me question the work done based on past experience, but thanks to Kyle and Chris s help and patience, they were able to ease my concerns by taking the extra time to explain the whole process to me. Awesome crews. I ll be back.

This place deserves a 10 star review!!! Most auto repair shops take advantage of young women who don't understand car repairs and costs, but Jay's has taken excellent care of our daughter's car! They are the best and offer fair pricing and fast service

Very professional and great service. Our 19 year old Highlander was needing timing belt replacing. Only 83k on this 2005 Highlander but because of age it needed to be done. Got that and wheel work done in same day and 1/2 the dealer shop cost! Very satisfied.

Trustworthy, reliable, with fair prices. Had a dealer tell me I needed several hundred dollars of work. Jay's found the real issue which was minor and inexpensive to solve. We're loyal satisfied customers.

I think I found a new mechanic. I had a good experience with Jay's when I took my Rav4 in for a full fluid change (excluding engine oil). Kyle and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and they got the work done in a timely manner. I've been to Stingray, AA, and Jim's in the past and was not satisfied with their work. Good job Jay's Kirkland Auto Repair!

Highly recommend Jay s! They are professional and trustworthy, with reasonable prices. We have all 4 of our autos serviced by the team. They also communicate well on status of vehicle or any issues that arise.

For rear brakes, they did a much better inspection than other service places, who only looked briefly and said pad was 6 mm. Actually, Jay's found that caliper on one wheel was not working and there were spots of 2 mm in the pad! Excellent inspections, and doesn't recommend replacements unless it's truly needed. Thank you! Nice enough, but prices were extremely inflated. I understand they have to make a business but the parts were all 200-500% more than if I bought them myself. Even if I bought the OEM parts that they listed, they were still ~160% more. Keep in mind you're also paying for the warranty on those parts and more importantly the labor, but this wasn't enough to justify the inflation for me.

We came to Jay's after having a horrible experience with the work done at Jiffy Lube. Our car was fixed and we were on our way. A week and a half later, something that had some relation to our first problem reoccurred. We brought it in and after a couple of days we were repaired, at no cost. These people have integrity and know what customer service should be. We couldn't be happier to have found service we can trust and have confidence in.Services: Electrical repair, Exhaust

Our vehicle was scheduled in quickly and Jay s identified the problem and provided a price to fix shortly thereafter.They communicated clearly with me and completed the work on schedule.I will be returning to Jay s for future auto repairs that I cannot do myself.

I had a 100,000 mile inspection done here. The mechanic who helped me (Chris) gave his honest assessment and didn't try to upsell me. I even asked about whether to think about shock / strut replacement and he told me the prices and what to pay attention to, but didn't pressure me to do it. Overall, I was happy with the maintenance that I had done.It's worth noting that I dropped my vehicle off at 7:30am and they were open then. Also, if you want to pick your vehicle up after they've closed they can put your keys in a lockbox outside, which made it really convenient for me to stop by at 6pm (i.e. after hours) and not have to rearrange my day.

My mom and I have been taking our cars to Jay s since at least 2003. I never feel pressured and they are great about giving me a heads up on what work might be needed in the near future or what I should be prepared for.Things have changed now that Jay has retired, but no change in service.

I recently changed from using the dealership s service department to using Jay s. Jay s has been super responsive in being able to work me in, their pricing is good, and the workmanship is great. I wish I made the transition to Jay s earlier!
