We have been a customer for 15 years.These guys are skilled, honest and reasonably priced. I have referred them to many friends and they all came back and thanked me for the referral. They put customer's interest above everything elseMany thanks to Kevin (the owner) to run an honest business at this era which is very rare to find one!

One of my car tires went low on its air pressure very quickly despite filling it to the recommended pressure psi. I suspected a tire puncture. I went to a different service center on the day before coming here but they asked me to leave the car with them for the day. I didn t take them up on that and came to Harvey s. Only 2 or 3 people were working on Saturday yet they took my car and fixed the puncture immediately. It was all done within 20 mins or so. They have a waiting room with a couch where I could just chill until they were done fixing my tire. My only displeasure is they could have told me about the extra charge that I would incur by paying with my card ahead of time which I could have avoided by paying them with cash. However, that isn't enough to deprive them of a star.

About a year ago. Fixed my brake lines and then replaced my fuel pump without my permission. The fuel pump barely worked out of the shop and they blamed it on me. Still had to pay and they never fixed the fuel pump that they broke. I'll never return.

Came for a tire puncture, while the other shops asked me to wait till the end of day, Harvey s auto service fixed my tire on the spot. They also showed me the exact problem. I would definitely come back in the future for any car related issue.

I've been going to Harvey's for about 14 years. I drive a much beloved 21 year old Jeep, so I've been in regularly. They left Redmond a few years ago to Kirkland. Even though they were within walking distance to my house I followed them.In the beginning I would call around for price quotes. I quickly realized they are not only the best in pricing, but do things right the first time, really know cars, and want to be sure their clients are safe and satisfied with their service.Since my dad passed 6 years ago I rely on them even more. Kevin, Chris and Kurt have gone above and beyond for me many times. Recommend them completely.

DO NOT GO HERE.. this shop misdiagnosed my car 3 times and I paid in full each time and eventually had to have another shop properly fix my car. I also recomended a friend to come here and her car broke down after every single VISIT! New owner isn t managing the business well. Never coming back.

I have been taking my car to Harvey s auto for many years. They have always been extremely honest with the assessment and the cost and have done an amazing job fixing my car every time it s been needed. I refer everyone I know to them. When you find an honest mechanic, you hold on tight and don t let go! I m so glad I found them. I've been to countless automotive shops and harvy's has an upstanding service compared to most. Both our vehicles were serviced recently and both were a fair price and timely service. They fit us in both times first thing the following morning after the call. Highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a great value and service when it comes to their automotive needs.

Outstanding service - It was a Saturday, we broke down, stranded 6+ hours from home and we had to be home. They came and towed us, repaired our car, and even stayed after hours to work on it, so we could make it home.Wonderful service and very nice people, thank you Harvey's Auto!

Have been a customer for years, ever since a tow truck driver convinced me to go to them instead of the car dealer for my car repair. I am very glad. I am not unbiased, because I want ethical and capable businesses to succeed. They are not perfect; they are human beings after all. However, when I have pointed out the errors, they immediately recognized the problem and rectified. That is impressive. These kinds of businesses do exist. The tow truck driver was also of the same type. Instead of hauling my car to a shop, he fixed my car in 5 minutes and then charged me nothing. Exceptional service! My car wouldn't start due to low battery. I called Harvey's at 9AM to inquire about appointments. Chris said, he can driver over and give me a jump in 10 mins. When he gave me a jump start, he didn't try to sell anything to me and suggested I change the battery.They had appointments at the same time and proceeded to replace my battery in about 10 mins. I was out of their shop by 9.45AM.Service: Battery

So our alternator had went out unexpectedly and I had no idea who to bring it to because I don t trust mechanics. I looked through all the reviews and Harvey s had the best. Mike took in our car and fitted us in between other cars to get our family vehicle back on the road. This is a small shop with honest folks. I took my Toyota Pickup here because it kept popping out of gear. Chris at the front desk was extremely helpful and told me that I needed a new transmission after he drove it around the block to diagnose it. He helped me to find an affordable used transmission as well. My truck was ready in two business days, my only negative is that they didn't contact me until 20 minutes before they closed in order to inform me that my Truck was ready. I'm glad I live nearby, otherwise I might not have been able to get my truck until the next day. The work they did seems to be solid, and my truck is running like new now!

I would choose no stars as a rating, but then this will not be published.I started going to Harvey s when Don was the shop manager, he was great! However, since he passed, customer service and honesty has drastically declined.My experiences began when I came in for an oil change. I was in the lobby and saw my car being pulled into the bay and also heard a huge crashing noise! Chris the shop manager ran into the shop to investigate and found that the garage door had closed on my car and jumped off the track and fell onto my car. This caused damage to the hood the top and the windshield. The windshield had hundreds of scratches on it, which made night driving impossible! Chris wanted the shop to try and buff out the scratches, rather than replacing the windshield. Of course it didn t work and I still couldn t drive at night. I insisted they replace the windshield. I came in for my appointment and after 3 hours, the guy with the windshield still had not shown up for my appointment. He kept saying he was just minutes away. So, finally on my 3rd visit, I received a new windshield. I asked Chris to get in touch with me when the body damage could be fixed. Apparently, the body shop manager had had a heart attack and was recovering. Months went by, with no contact from Harvey s. You would think, given they had caused the damage, they would bend over backwards to make things right. I finally called and was given a laundry list of excuses from Chris as to why nobody had called to set up an appointment (the body shop manager had returned weeks ago). I brought my car in for the body work, and they missed a significant spot on the hood. Next, I brought my car in for repair, it needed new spark plugs and wires. Shortly after this repair, my car broke down. I had it towed to a different auto shop, wich is very reputable. They discovered that the spark plug wire that Harvey s had installed had been cut, so the casing didn t cover the porcelain of the spark plug, this caused it to short out. I took the cut wire to Harvey s and they accused the second shop of sabotage for new business. They felt they did not owe any compensation for installing the cut wire which resulted in more money for repair. I have chosen to stay with the other shop I used. I would not recommend using Harvey s.

Kevin, Chris and their Technicians are the best when it comes to reliability and pricing for any thing your car / suv needs. I have been going to them for the past 10 years and every time they give me the best car care with competitive pricing. I never go shopping around to find out what the other car shop has to offer. This time my bill was 5k for a Transimission Transfer Case replacement. I just handed them the job. That's how much i trust them. I went to Harvey's auto shop with my car and I told them what had happened to my oil pump and timing belt and they were a really big help. Am first time car buyer and they were willing to guide me through everything wrong with the car. I called everywhere and no one could help me until I ran into there number online they were the only ones willing to help me he sounded really concerned and helped me figure out the problem. I wanted to get the brake rotors changed on my car but didn't want to go to the dealership because they charged a huge premium for a simple enough job. After reading reviews on yelp, Harvey's seemed like the place to go. Don is a great guy and he accommodated my requests and customizations. But I don't trust the guy who handled the job. I think his name was Kevin if I remember correctly. He was always very rude and never gave straight answers.Ultimately, I got the job done and was happy, but not for long. Two days later I noticed some damage behind the front bumper cover. When I looked underneath the car, the whole bumper cover was severely damaged from the lower inside and the engine protective covering (skid plate?) was completely missing. So I went back and talked to Kevin since Don was off that day. As usual the guy didn't give any straight answers and plainly denied that he did the damage. I went back another day to talk to Don and he also tried to convince me that I might have hit a speed-bump which could have caused this. But I didn't, it had been only two days and I remembered clearly where I took the car. I told him that I would have at least seen the skid plate coming out. I couldn't have missed that. He had nothing to say but maintained that it didn't happen in his shop. Searching on the web, seems like it might not be uncommon of a novice mechanic to take those plates off and deem them unnecessary.The body shop gave a huge estimate to fix it mainly because the bumper cover needs to be replaced due to irreparable damages. I guess I should have taken the dealership route in the first place and avoided going to Harvey's altogether.

Read this before you go to Harvey's for work.Friendly service I will give them that.BUT I have now dropped my truck off with them for the day three times. First time for a diagnostic they told me they check out everything and the 4 wheel drive servo was bad and needed to be replaced.I was quoted 490 for the part and paid $178 for the work they did that day. A few weeks later I scheduled to bring my truck in and have it repaired. As I drive my truck for work not having it is a huge inconvenience. I drop off my truck the night before and at 330 the next day I got a call saying I could come pick it up. When I asked how it went I was told they could not get the part and it would be two weeks to get it. I figured they would have checked on availability before I dropped it off. Don then told me I would now need to pay for the part upfront and he would order it and call me when it cam in. three weeks later after not hearing from them I called and was told the part was there I could bring my truck in to have it installed. So yesterday I drop off my truck again in the morning and get a call at 3pm saying that the part was not the problem and cannot be return because it was an electronic part. Over $700 into this and still not fixed. But they can call in another guy to trouble shoot the problem at an additional cost.

They had to close their Redmond location which I had brought several cars to over the years. I forgot they had a Kirkland location and very happy their friend and my chiropractor told me they were there. Always great service and prices. I'm very thankful and pleased with the service received. People there are very friendly and nice. They treat others with care and respect. They even gave me a ride home and drove me back to the shop after the work was done. Kevin the owner has done incredlbe things, to help my car through some tough times. He also did the overhaul on my engine . he worked so hard even into fathers day weekend. he has worked very hard to get it out in time. He also helped me find a car to drive. He has a great team of workers and he is a great owner. Responsible, smart, quick thinker. Knows his way around a car and truck..and a special thanks to Chris the shop manager.
