Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Traded in my car. Got a fair price and got a different car in a few short hours. Got a good deal on the car. Everyone was nice, helpful and easy to work with. And no pressure at all. Had the car I was looking for so it was a breeze. I recommend this place and would go back again if I was in need of another car. Thanks Eastside Subaru in Kirkland, WA!

This was 100%, hands-down, one of the easiest, and most positive car buying experiences I have encountered over my lifetime. I purchased a 2020 Outback XT Onyx Ed. from Eastside Subaru of Kirkland.I reached out to Eastside about a week before I purchased the vehicle to get as much information as possible before battling the 405. From the very start, the communication from the dealership-side was transparent and without pressure. Every question I had about the vehicle was met promptly, and thoroughly. "Joe" (Mathew Joe Walery) was my sales-person from start to finish. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you go see Joe if you are interested in a Subaru. With over 30 years experience he has seen a lot, which explains his honest, friendly approach to the car buying experience. Joe made the test drive so enjoyable, with his great taste in music and his easy nature, it made the next step, the haggling, something I desperately wanted to avoid. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. When we finally got down to the business-end of the deal, coming to a sale price and agreed trade-in price for my vehicle was pretty much a two-conversation event. I gave Joe my bottom line, Joe gave the information to the Sales Manager, Danny Santos, and it was done. Fair price for fair price. I want to also take a moment to shine a light on Danny, he was not the usual "put you on ice" Sales Manager. He gave off the vibe of, "I'm a door is always open" kind of a guy. Once we had the numbers, Joe made quick work of the vitals, and it was off to their Finance Dept. to complete the pre-approval with my bank.It was at this point where I thought there was going to be a snag in the smooth sale process. I had installed bolt-on Thule bed racks to carry a roof box on my truck. Because I was not sure how the deal would go, I didn't take them off beforehand. During the trade-in talk Kirkland expressed their preference of not keeping the racks with the truck, and asked if I would mind taking them off. I had no tools with me to do so, but I agreed to remove the rack (I would have had to run up to the hardware store). The snag never became a snag- Joe stepped up, talked to service to borrow their tools, and he and the Finance Manager, Isaiah Ryales, went to work of removing the racks for me. This, after repeatedly offering to do the work myself. They could not have been more friendly about it, with a sense of humor to boot! Once the racks were off, they loaded nicely into my Subaru.Speaking of the Finance Manager, Isaiah Ryales fell right in line with the same effortless, easy-going approach that I encountered with Joe and Danny. Completing the finance paperwork was quick and easy (minus Isaiah rallying to help with the racks). Granted, not having to be on the sales end allows the finance folks more freedom to be at ease, but his friendly personality removed the "this is just another business deal" feeling. He could have just as easily gone about the paperwork, and sent me on my way. Instead he made it feel more like two guys talking about their families, where they grew up, and "oh yeah" we are wrapping up a business deal.I realize car dealerships are about making money. They run a business just like any other business or corporation. However, what made Eastside Kirkland different was their approach to how they went about their business. When a dealership can offer a fair price, then accept a fair trade, with no pressure, no 4-square BS, no "pizza closes" to get you to seal the deal, and do it all with a sense of humor and a smile, they are doing it right. Eastside Subaru of Kirkland is not the smarmy sales floor, conveyor belt, churn out car deals, dealership like some of my past experiences. They know they have cars to move, but in so doing they also seem to grasp the importance of a positive car buying experience.I would recommend this dealership to anyone interested in buying a Subaru. If you are interested, ask for Joe.

Took a look at a vehicle here, test drove it and determined there was an electrical issue. Later in the week they reached out and said issue was fixed and if I was still interested. Negotiated a price over the phone and went back out hoping to purchase. They adjusted the fees to get the bottom line back up to the original price. Deceptive. One less dealership to deal with in the future.

Found a great vehicle in their inventory that was offered pretty close to their market value. Their mechanic did the tune-up and took care of any maintenance needed. Since the car was brought to them recently, they asked us for a couple days to take it to get detailed and we received it looking like new with the full tank! They went above and beyond our expectations. Next time I'm looking for another vehicle, I'll make sure to go to them first. Thanks for your help Alex!

I wish we could do zero stars. A week ago today my son started working with Rachel a sales person and the GM Galnaza to purchase a 2012 Outback. We live about an hour and a half away and wanted the financing etc.. in place before making the drive up. To this day, after at least 3 asks, we still don't know who the financing was through. They don't answer the landline phone when you call, and they don't listen to the messages you leave. After finally getting everything in order, last night Galnaza said to send over paystubs for final approval. What? My son was told he was already fully approved, he insured the car as they required. Son submits paystubs as requested to Galnaza and they agreed he'd be up today by 11am to test drive and finalize the purchase. Today at 9:14am she text my son and said, there is someone there now and he's on a test drive and likely buying the car. Then she texts my son, yes it's sold. I understand the first come first serve policy, but knowing my son is literally on his way, and to sell the car out from under him, is simply unprofessional. As a Real Estate professional for 19years, who has bought many cars, including my last purchase, a Jaguar F-Pace, I have worked with many many dealerships over the years, and I'd never work with Eastside Subaru, even if it was the last dealership in Washington.

I'm not the type to leave many reviews, let alone incredibly poor reviews, often. If you look at my history, it's mainly glowing reviews, unless a business wrongs me in some way. This place absolutely deserves it.I bought a used 2016 Hyundai Tucson at around 99,000 miles. It's at about 108,000 now, and Les Schwab let me know that every single brake and rotor needs replacing, which is $1500 out of my pocket, less than a year after I bought this car.I just got off the phone with customer service letting them know, and they told me that all used cars are sold as-is, and as long as they pass a safety inspection, they can sell the car. They also don't service anything but Subarus. While I recognize that my car is used, and darn near 100,000 miles, the last thing I expected was to be left with rotors that need replacing and brake pads at about 1mm.What a nightmare. If you buy a used car here, which I personally wouldn't recommend, make SURE you get it checked out right away. There's no way I have to replace all of my rotors after 10,000 miles and it still passed a safety test. That's ludicrous. Nearly all of my 10,000 miles are HIGHWAY miles too. I work from home and travel to see family on weekends, and that's it. I can't fathom how my brakes got down that low.

The worst dealership I've ever been to. The sales person knew nothing about the vehicle. Tried to mislead me into financing through the dealership by saying navy Federal credit union financing isn't accepted there (they are, it's the largest credit union in the country) and also lied about a number of fees. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone. Flat crooks. Also, reading the "positive" reviews here, many appear manufactured. Seriously, poor selection, run down establishment, intentionally rude and deceptive. This place should be shut down. Definition of 2nd rate used car dealer.

Overall good experience and no real hassle. Was able to quickly get a solid price and worked with me to find the car I wanted and arrange to get it there, while I got a loaner of the same car in the meantime. This was key since it was a surprise for my wife and I wanted to have her come home and see the new car in the driveway. My only critique was that it was not a fast process in any way. There was little debate on pricing and it was a cash purchase, but still took a couple of hours.

I came here with my daughter to help her with buying a first car. She had already picked one out from the website. After testing driving the car she decided that she wanted it. The little Impreza gets significantly less mpg than larger cars. For a college student this is not helpful. So I asked the salesperson if they could lower the price of the car. I made a offer $800.00 lower than their price. I based this on information from KB website.Of course he has to check with the sales manager. But he says he is their to get the lowest price for us. Basically working for us.He comes back with a sheaf of papers in his hand and puts them in front of me.The price is several thousands higher. Even beyond including sales tax.I ask what's this? He says that is for the service contract /warranty. $3300.00 with a $100.00 deductible. He did not ask if I was interested. The truth is the dealers make more from selling these service contracts than on the cars at times.A service contract is never a good financial decision unless the car is a lemon. They never made a counter offer to my $800.00 less which BTW I was asked to initial to show I was serious.Same old routine in used car sales sadly.

One happy customer.I am writing this review about a month after purchasing a 2011 Forester with about 100k miles on it. I worked with Jerry, who was a super nice, helpful, and low-pressure salesman. I had done quite a bit of shopping around for almost a month, and Jerry did the best at selecting cars that fit my specifications and my budget.I waited so long to post a review because I wanted to wait until my plates came in and transaction was really complete. The only negative was that it took nearly a month to get my plates in. They called me about four days before the temp registration expired while I was out of town for the weekend, so I wasn't able to get my real plates until my temp registration had expired for a couple days. But nothing bad came of that, just a little uncomfortable to drive around with an expired registration. That said, my check engine light came on a couple weeks ago, and this is really what pushed a good experience to a great experience. I emailed Jerry and asked if he could have someone read the code when I came in to pick up my plates. He/the mechanics not only got that done, but repaired a leaky hose FOR FREE! (It's also worth noting that I did NOT purchase the extra coverage for this kind of thing, so even though it was a minor repair, they really could have charged me for it.)Great car, great price, great customer service. Thanks Eastside Subaru!

After finding a 2014 CR-V EX-L for sale via a CarMax email found in my Spam folder, I took a chance, messaged the dealership, and got an immediate response from Sales Consultant, Travis Azeltine. I wasn't expecting to trade in my 2013 CR-V that day, but the attentive customer care I received from Travis was too hard to resist. When I arrived for our appointment and expressed interest in the car, he took a copy of my license, handed me the keys, and told me to take it for a spin. When I returned, he put zero pressure on me to purchase, and answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns with genuine kindness and respect. He even went to bat for me several times to try to negotiate a better deal with his manager, and he succeeded. It was one of the easiest, most stress-free car-buying experiences I've ever had and I give Travis 100% of the credit for the fact that I'm the happy driver of a nicer, newer version of the car I already had when I wasn't even planning to trade it in! That's some sales talent. Thank you, Travis!

I leased a 2021 Subaru Forester from East Side Subaru and had a great and fair experience buying the car. Now we re leaving the state and wanted to sell the lease back. The East Side Subaru Preowned offered $27k and told us there was no dealer that would offer more. Got a quote from CarMax and sold for $33.2k cash one day later. Always shop quotes and don t believe what they say. Do your research and trust the data.

Gave me a garbage estimate for buying my 21 WRX. $27k for a car that KBB says Is worth at least 34k. Then the sales manager proceeded to try to argue that nobody would buy it over a 22 WRX. You d think he d know about the backlash surrounding that car and how the used car market works right now, but basically go here if you re okay with getting completely Jipped.

I had a phenomenal experience at this dealership. The saleseman I worked with was very honest and helpful. He worked tirelessly to get me a good deal on a car that I really wanted. When there were issues with the bank financing the loan for the car payments, he and his staff went above and beyond to ensure that everything got taken care of in a satisfactory and quick manner. I look forward to maintaining a relationship with this dealership and its staff throughout the life of my new car. Great place to buy a Subarua and to get a Subaru serviced!

My experience here was very good. The staff were patient with me, willing to be completely transparent about transactions, prices, and costs, and the salesman was much more honest than most others I've seen. For a used car dealership, their cars were all clean, in excellent mechanical condition, and they were very willing to give me my space to think instead of being ridiculously pushy. I was quite satisfied with their service.

Given the fact that a car purchase is such a huge deal in most people s lives, I've decided to write a long and thorough review of my experience doing business with East Side Subaru Preowned. For those of you with short attention spans, here is the TLDR summary:East Side Subaru Preowned has a wide selection of cars that will definitely meet your needs no matter what they may be. The people I interacted with during my purchase were great and I will definitely keep them in mind whenever I'm back on the market. Learn from my mistakes, do your research and arm yourself with information before you walk in there (or any dealership for that matter). Read up on how to negotiate (I recommend Dave Ramsey's negotiating tips)My wife and I drove 5 hours to test drive multiple cars in the Seattle area. After not finding anything we felt comfortable buying we somehow ended up at East Side Subaru Preowned. We thought we would just look around and see if the dealership had anything that would meet our needs and budget. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a gentleman by the name of Chris Smyth. He was very cordial and helped us find a compatible car. My wife and I took it for a test drive. It looked clean, had no major scratches on the paint, the interior seemed like it was in great condition, the suspension felt good, the manual transmission shifted smoothly, the motor sounded and responded well, nothing felt out of place. By the end of the test drive, it was evident that this car was the one. My wife and I agreed that since we were buying a used Subaru car from a Subaru dealership, there wouldn't a need to take the car to a certified mechanic to perform a pre-purchase inspection. I was smiling from ear to ear. On our walk back to the office I probably looked like a little girl running through a wheat field. That is where I messed up. Chris could tell that I was sold. When we brought negotiations to the table, he wasn't having it. Essentially, I had lost all walk-away power and with it, any chance at negotiating (Dave Ramsey would be so disappointed in me). Thankfully, I was not alone. I married up to a not only gorgeous but also highly intelligent woman who drew a clear line in the sand. She gave Chris an offer, he said he would talk about it with his team. After what felt like an eternity (5 minutes at the most), Chris came back, said "I had to do a lot of arm twisting" (I laugh every time I think about that) and accepted our offer. Chris proceeded to escort us to Richard Dao's office. He was wonderful and made the paperwork process as enjoyable as filling out the paperwork can be. Very cool and funny guy. Finally, after all the paperwork was filled out and everything was signed, we met Chris at the front of the dealership. He handed me the keys, shook my hand and congratulated me on my purchase. My wife and I left East Side Subaru Preowned mentally, and physically exhausted but emotionally relieved and very happy that the search for a car was finally over. When we got home, I checked my email. Cargurus had sent me the listing of the car we had bought that day. I laughed out loud when I noticed that according to cargurus, the car was overpriced by $1100. Thanks to my wife's negotiating, we ended up paying what the the car actually was worth. Which is sad when you think about it because it shouldn't be that way but there is nothing I can do about that.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. Chris and Richard were very professional. I will definitely keep them and this dealership in mind whenever I'm back on the market for another Subaru.I will be writing an update of this review in 6 months.

Bought a Certified Pre Owned Forester. They pressured me to buy extended warranty, I thought it may be useful but within a few months it proved worthless. First they sold me a car with a broken blind spot radar, which shows their inspection was not thorough. Then they refuse to cover it under warranty and said this is not a manufacturing defect. Lesson learned is extended warranty is worthless and only protect Subaru and not the buyer. Also, take their certified inspection with a grain of salt.

The service here is horrible. They treat you very bad especially if they find out you like one of their cars. They gave us a very bad pricing for our car and made us call them multiple times until we gave up almost to make a deal. Brandon Bitser was our agent and he gave us one of the most terrible services ever. Highly recommend not to go here.Edited: After a month of purchase, my car tyre was punctured. Took it to Les schwab to fix it. They told me that the tyres were factory tyres from the original purchase. Brandon told me the tyres were changed recently. They cheated us! Do not go here! Bad Service and Money grabbing!

Very strange experience. Coming from the new car dealer lot I was expecting a similar atmosphere, but rather was given the impression that they weren't interested in selling a car while pressuring me to give over my information.

My girlfriend bought a car here, and while she had a restricted budget the staff was great and helped her get a nice used car that was within her price range. The place is clean and maintained, and the cars are kept in good shape. Worth a stop if looking for a used car, especially Subarus.

Hardly any used cars on the lot, walked in to offer a trade in had cash in hand to buy the car I was interested outright and the sales manager just made fun of the car I was trying to trade in. THAT ALONE made me walk away. Will NEVER EVER do business with the used OR the new car dealership because of this experience.

Terrible dealership! Probably one of the worst experiences! Contacted Cody Taylor about a car in their inventory and he confirmed the car is available as of 10am. Drove all the way from Bellevue to test drive - made it to the dealership around 11am and the car was already sold yesterday . Absolutely disrespectful! Waste of time, don t go there!
