Held my car hostage for a year and 2 months. rude customer service. unprofessional. they work with dealerships, and they prioritize them first. no integrity whatsoever. If you take your care in make sure you ask for time of repair and have it in writing otherwise Goodluck getting your car back anytime soon. They didn't allow my insurance adjuster to go on the property which was kind of shady for a shop.

Was suggested here by Hyundai of Kirkland, to fix my Elantra's busted ignition after a breakin. Had a call with their receptionist (Vedina?). She gave me this rundown "This is how things are going to be":1. If my car is totaled, or if I pick it up before it is fully repaired, they will retroactively charge me storage fees for every day it was kept there.2. They do not know when they can start repairs.3. They do not know when they can even do the estimate.4. They will NOT tell me the daily cost of storage fees until the bill is sent out.So already red flag policy, give the customer nothing that could use to make an informed decision. And when you look at all the recent low reviews, they are all centered around this flawed policy. They take months to even run an estimate, then effectively hold your car hostage as you have to decide between paying what their newly generated estimate says for repairs, vs paying thousands a month in storage fees just to get your car back in the same condition. By that point, what motivation do they have to give you a realistic cost estimate?My insurance obviously refused to even tow there with all the missing info. I reached out again to Collision Masters to say I needed more info, and the receptionist had a meltdown. Genuinely shouting into the phone that I need to 'be a man' with my insurance and force them to agree (to undetermined storage fees and no start date). I was done and said I will figure it out with my insurance. Her parting words were "You can go try other repair shops, they are ALL 3-months wait minimum. We're the only option." I had such a short interaction with this company but it was so memorably bad I had to leave a review. No idea what they're doing.Next day I took my car to Michael's Auto in Redmond instead. This place was no charge for storage, gave me an estimate in 2 days, worked with my insurance to adjust to their new estimate, immediately ordered all parts directly from Hyundai, and had the car fixed in less than 2 weeks.

I was recommended to come here from ford. I found them to be fast, reliable, and kept me up to date with my repair status. Travis who cleaned my vehicle at the end did such a great job. Thank you collision masters team!

This business has integrity and cares about customers. Most satisfied and happy customers never post outstanding comments. But the angry and unhappy customers do complain more unfortunately. I recently interacted with the business and the manager gave me wonderful encouragement and advice on how to repair my vehicle. Thanks Collision Masters and CarStar in Edmonds!

Excellent customer service! They kept me informed throughout the process of getting my truck repaired. My truck looked good as new when they were done, and the repaired area still looks great 7 years later.UPDATE: I recently got hit while sitting at a stop sign. Took my truck back to Collision Masters and they did an AWESOME job repairing it!! Outstanding customer service again and highest quality workmanship. Highly recommend Collision Masters. Had my car repaired here or ruined here only to pick it up and have to spend $5000.00 to get it back to its original state. Parts missing. Old parts used. Had to buff my paint out myself to get rid of swirl marks. Staff will look you in your eyes & lie to you, thats the most troubling part. 4 months minimum on turn around time. Choose wisely.

If you re thinking of taking your car to Collision Masters, read this first and avoid any disappointment.When we had a small fender bender, our dealership recommended I take our car to Collision Masters. We didn't have rental coverage with our insurance but we figured a two weeks rental would be plenty of time before our car would be ready. We dropped our car off and they said they will give an estimate once the have the car on the lift. I called after a week, and there was no update. I called 5 days later, and still no update. By then we were reaching the end of our rental, which we were paying out of pocket and began to realize this was not going to happen for us. We drove down down and to our amazement and relief they had not touched the car in two weeks. We got our car back and found another shop to take our car for repair.My impression is that Collision Masters is not set up for individual, walk-in repair jobs. They mainly service dealerships and other car companies with no time restraints and priority for repair goes to them. Unless you can get an in-writing guarantee of delivery date, I would not recommend using Collision Masters. They guy we spoke with was nice enough and understanding but their business model is not set up to serve individuals. At the end of the day we lost two weeks and paid $500 for a rental car we didn't need. I'm sure they do a good work, but I can't attest to it. Save yourself the hassle, find another shop and make sure you get a completion date in writing.

Extremely unproffesional. They have been holding our car almost 7 months on what should be a 4 month max project. All the time telling us that the car will be ready shortly. We go in to the shop to find out what is taking so long only to find out that they had only just ordered parts that very clearly needed to be replaced and should have been ordered six months ago. While dealing with Steve, we were met with nothing but rudeness and misogyny. After asking Steve why he waited so long to order said parts his response was "why don't you fill out a job application so I can explain it to you." When pressed on the question at hand he tried to divert blame to anyone else he could, including the insurance agent, as if he wasn't the one in possession of the car and should be the one to know what parts need to be replaced. These people, especially Steve, either do not know how to do their job properly or are intentionally trying to milk your insurance for every dollar that they can by holding your vehicle for as long as possible. Do not give this company your business as they will try and screw you over and be extremely unprofessional with any encounter you may have with them. We will be in contact with the better business bureau after this encounter.

I am not criticizing the repair on my vehicle, from what I can tell it was sufficiently repaired. I am rating based on a few things. Firstly, my vehicle took 60 days to be repaired for a very minor incident where someone backed into my parked vehicle going about 5 miles an hour. There was a breakdown in communication so many times, that caused my vehicle to just sit there for over a month. They did not submit my supplementals promptly and added weeks to my repair.If this type of waiting period is happening they should be taking on fewer vehicles instead of overbooking and leaving me without my work vehicle for over two months.Secondly, I am very disappointed in the receptionist s professionalism, every time I came in I was met with coldness and given very little information unless I firmly insisted, and then was misled toward the end that my vehicle was still in painting when it was already completed. Personally, I don t care too much about attitude toward me as long as the work is done, but my own insurance agent even said they were extremely unprofessional and ignored her calls or didn t work with her about 17 times. Because of this, it was a very stressful time and I was left in the dark wondering if they were even doing anything to move the process along. I have to acknowledge it to warn other individuals of what to expect coming into this shop.

12,000 dollars first estimate after 4 months for not repairing my car !!!!!!!Read this before you go there:I trusted them and drop off my car to get an estimate and then to be fixed and they told me it takes couple of months But they never gave me an estimates, and when I called several times after 4 months Steve said , no parts yet and when I ask them to give me a date when the car will be ready he said maybe next February as if he doesn't care and when I got upset he said he won't work on my car because me and my son calling him asking when the car is ready and we were upset about it, after holding my car for 4 months!!!!! Then Steve asked me to pay 37,000 to get my car back without them working on it and Steve explained 25,000 dollars for storage and 8,000 dollars for non refundable parts and 4,000 dollars for the work and labor. this is the first estimate they gave me for not repairing my car and holding it since February 2023.I told steve , you can not charge me for storage when the car is not ready and you can not charge me for anything !!! then he sent me an email the same day that you need to pick up your car by friday and pay 12,000 and if you don't we charge you 250 dollars a day!!!!! i'm single mom and take care of my parents. I had to take a day off to go to this place.Then i went to collision master in kirkland shop and Tim the owner said they do not charge me 250 a day and work it out with insurance. Tim is nice man .But,Insurance says the collision master never communicated with them to get authorization all these 4 months and never sent any correct information till now so the repair shop should not charge anything.This is almost 5 months that my car is in their lot and nothing done!!!!! I left my car in February. This is not fair to me !!!!!!I need my car . when i called to talk to Tim, Steve told me i can't and used a lot of foul language (b..) and told me " Go Back to your country bi....*" . All my coworkers heard him and said that's not right!!!! This is not right!!

Horrible experience!!I took my 2019 Honda Clarity for body damage with insurance settlement. Had the worst experience. Would never recommend anyone to go through what I have gone thru. My car was there for multiple weeks and when I pressed when it would be done, Steve was rude and said it will take another 3m. Then I went there to ask for my car and did not want to repair as I cant keep the car there for 3m, then he said they did get the parts and I would have to pay restocking. Then I asked with parts why it would take 3m, then they said, they can get the car done in 1w. Then I go back to take the car after a week, they say they still dont have 2 parts arrived (already charged to me) that they need to work with insurance on supplement as they need to take down what they completed to put those parts. And they will call me once the insurance settles and they will call me. I take my car, wait for several weeks and find out they never filed any insurance supplement for the missing parts. Then when I call when they will do that, the same guy Steve says they got the parts and I need to bring my car back and wait for "unknown" amount of time to get that done and that they have the parts.If you even try to make sense of what each of them are saying, they will not even let you talk or ask question and they are very rude. You are simply helpless once you give your car there.There are many other auto body shops, go there not this place to avoid many calls and frustration. BTW, I am also calling my insurance to give my experience so they never recommend this shop to others.ManoharService: Body & Trim

My wife just picked up our vehicle from collision masters this morning and our car looks like new again! They did an amazing job! I'm so glad that I got our car fixed here! I would recommend this place to anyone! They have amazing costumers service! Katrina was always so communicative with us and the status of our car the whole time it was in the shop. She worked out all the details with amazing professionalism dealing with insurance and rental agency. I'm so happy and grateful that I picked this place to get my car repaired.

These guys are the best. True professionals who know exactly how to do an outstanding repair job no matter what the damage is. They did the right fixes, replacement and finishes. They dealt with the insurance company and all of their BS. When I picked up my car, the inside had been cleaned and detailed, my car had been washed and windows cleaned. I felt how I felt when I drove my mini van out of the dealership when I bought it brand new.Thank you Phil and your crew.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Collision Masters. My car's exterior was damaged in shipment from Chicago to Seattle. Collision Masters was recommended through the Ford dealership in Kirkland. I brought my car in for an estimate and the entire team, from receptionist to mechanic, was outstanding. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. My repair took about a week. When I came to pick it up, it looked so great. They had washed and I think even waxed my car! The repairs were flawless. Also, there was a previous scratch that I had explained I couldn't afford to have repaired and the team filled it in for me. Thank you, Collision Masters!

Got inspection by associate but no follow through on quotes or estimate.Went there to get a quote for my Toyota Camry body work and was welcomed by the front desk staff and associate. I filled out the form they provided and the associate even took a look at my car, noted my VIN number and took photos. They promised to get back with a quote within a few days, but even after calling them a couple times I didn t get any response. Felt like they want to work only if I had planned to file insurance claims (I mentioned I do have full comprehensive insurance but I wanted to pay for the work).

Very Appreciative towards this company. I feel that they went above and beyond with customer service and labor of my vehicle. They were fast and provided detailed data on my car and itemized the work and the costs for myself and my insurance company. When I picked up my car, it was washed, waxed and detailed inside, even tires were polished. I felt like I got a brand new car at the end. This org is legit and wish them business success.

Collision Masters provided me the best service I've ever received from a body shop. Repair work was excellent. They saved me money wherever possible on the repair job, worked directly with my insurance company on my behalf. Basically, they took care of every step of the process from start to finish and made it as painless as possible. They went out of their way and above and beyond the call of duty by giving me a ride to and from their shop when I needed. They even picked me up on Sunday to return me to their shop to pick up my car while I needed it. Very customer focused body shop. I also had them detail the car for me after repairs and they did a superb job. I would recommend Collision Masters to anyone.

Worst shop in WA, Steve is the most unprofessional person I ve ever met. Sent my insurance company ABC email with the most vulgar language, i couldn t even let my wife read it. I have to praise my ins for dealing with his verbal abuse. If that was my wife on the other end of his emails id have a few choice words for Steve. Idk how he still has job. Outstanding business! Professional, timely, and the repair was perfect! In addition, my car was sparkling clean inside and out when I picked it up. It looked better than when I drove it off the Toyota lot when it was brand new. Hopefully, I won't need Collision Masters for any more repairs, but I WILL use them for car detailing.

This is one of very few body shops in Seattle area I trust to do the right job. I learned about Collision Masters from my attorney when I was rear ended a few years ago. Many repair shops work with insurance companies, not necessarily for the vehicle owners benefits. Collision Masters is an independent body shop and they make sure the car is repaired properly. That means they may need to go back and forth several times with insurance companies for proper repairs. My car was in the shop for 1.5 months because my insurance company wanted to use parts from junkyard. Collision Maters ensured new/genuine parts were used for the repair. It may take longer for repair than insurance company approved repair shops. But if doing the right job is more important than doing quick job, this is the place.

We have used Collision Masters twice in the past. We dealt with Jody who was excellent in 2009 and in 2016. Based on that experience, we took another vehicle into them recently. Things have changed. They didn't do a follow up once the estimator had been out. We called multiple times and the lady at the front desk took down our number but they never called back. In addition, the lady at the front desk was rude. She was rude when we were dropping our vehicle off. She was rude on the phone. She was unhelpful. The service quality has clearly fallen off. My guess is that the quality of the work will be be a close second as well.

Summary: 1) Very slow repair process; 2) Poor services; 3) Left two-coin size blue ink on my front-right seat; 4) Not friendly front-desk service.I dropped off my car at Collision Masters around Dec. 12, 2016. It took roughly 10 weeks for repairing bumper problems. The reasons were that they did not do good initial estimation and keep to have three problems, which should go through insurance back and forth. They said the mechanician was out for a couple of weeks, but no one was able to continue to work on repairs, till the guy came back.In addition, they gave me three times of promises that they could deliver my car. However, they kept to eat their words. Their excuses were they just repair the car . They gave me the feelings that Why did you have your accident? Why did you choose our shop? .Third, they usually did not call you back, even they promised to call you back and give you updates. Every time, I inquired the process over phone, they said we will call you back in 10 minutes, half an hour, in the afternoon, or tomorrow . However, they only called me back a couple of times, and missed to their promises more than ten times. They did not value their customers at all.Finally, their provided very bad service. When I picked my car, I found there was a two-coin size blue ink on the front-right seat. The seat is the cloth cover. They did not clean it completely and even damage a little of the cover.In sum, Collision Masters provided me very bad repair experiences for my two repairs with them. I won t trust them again. Would suggest that if you have another choice, definitely not choose them.

Got into fender bender just as covid hit. Was referred to Collision Masters by my local car dealership. They were amazing! Were super on top of communication and were very clear on the process from start to finish. They dealt with the other drivers insurance for me and made it all stress free. I highly recommend them, they are fantastic.

I've been taking my vehicles to Collision Masters of Kirkland for quite awhile. Something's I feel were rushed and overlooked but for the most part out of any other shop I have entrusted my vehicles with they have performed the best quality for the dollar. I can only speak for their technician branch considering I have never even had a vehicle detailed by them. I have seen their body and paint work and can attest to their determination for quality and customer satisfaction. Staff is personable, efficient and extremely welcoming.

I just got my Toyota FJ cruiser back from being repaired at Collision Masters and I am very happy with the work that was done. I was treated professionally throughout the whole process and you can tell they take pride in the work they do. I will continue to use Collision Masters in the future without hesitation, and will recommend them to others as well.

When you meet with an accident , that too in a new car... you want the car back as new.. It is always difficult to deal with insurance - it is given. Insurance companies do their job of saving money during these events. We had coverage with the insurance company which process things slowly, but I attribute that to their under staffing problem - eventually they did the right thing. Now given this context - let me tell you about my experience with Collision masters. within 1 hour of the accident I was recommended by Infiniti of Kirkland to Collision masters. This is my first ever incident and I had no clue what to expect. From the moment I reached Collision masters to the day the car was delivered.. the experience was just awesome. If I built products or opened a services company of my own I would absolutely appreciate that level of communication, transparency and craftsmanship in work. Every detail of the car was looked into. I would recommend Collision masters anytime to anyone. you don't go there to just repair the car.. you go there for the sense of assurance you get !

I thought my Chevy G20 Conversation Van had a bad carburetor so I took it to Carburetor Connection . It's got a Throttle Body and it was fine. They said it was most likely the fuel pump and they weren't equipped to replace it but Collusion Masters was and that Ron Alzheimers was a great guy. Ron had my Van a whole week and replaced the fuel pump(@ 6 psi to 15 psi) found a leak in the fuel regulator(much better gas mileage now!)and the found that the coil was cracked and arching and replaced it too.(No wonder it barely made it there!) My Van runs better than it's ever ran for me. Way more power and better gas mileage too! So what did all of these repairs and a week in his shop cost? $650.00! And the Van had been at three other shops. Can't say enough good things about Collusion Masters! Big !

My car was dirty EVERYWHERE! Travis did such an INCREDIBLE job (and for way less then i thought!) inside and out she looks brand new! And everyone i talked to on the phone were so nice and helpful! Have already recommended them to several friends and customers! Thank you all!

I highly recommend Collision Masters of Kirkland. Gail, Brent, and the rest of the staff were professional, helpful, and understanding. Our VW Jetta needed repair following a fender bender and Collision Masters was excellent in dealing with the other party s insurance company. When I initially took the car in for an estimate, Gail was very patient and helpful as I had made a wrong turn and gotten a bit lost. She courteously guided me to the office via phone. The team did a beautiful job on the car in a timely fashion. In addition, we are fairly new to the area and I was unable to secure a ride to the shop. Collision Masters provides local pickup and delivery and their drivers were friendly, professional, and punctual.Collision Masters is the type of business I grew up with and I would not only use them again but suggest them to others as an auto repair of first resort. Thanks, Collision Masters, for a great experience!

My 6 month old Sonata was hit on the front end by a jeep that was backing up fast. CM was recommended by the dealer. I set up an appointment and Brent Petek went to work for me. Turning a bad experience into a positive one was unexpected but it made all the difference. He dealt with the insurance company directly and kept me informed at every step of the process. He set up expectation and followed through. My car looks fantastic! No one likes to go through these things but if you have to, it's nice to know you have a dedicated, kind and professional team at Collision Masters that will go to bat for you and hit a home run! In short, two words, "Top notch!"
