Bought a Eurovan cheap that had many issues. Buttera went over it and kept me informed all the way with cost estimates and what they found that needed priority. Very pleased with how the van runs now.

Buttera completed several major services on my GTI about 6 months ago, Ian was very helpful in the process of answering all my questions and updating me with when my car would be done. Put almost 5k miles in a month on my car right after they worked on it, very pleased with their quality of work and would definitely trust these guys again.Services: Auto maintenance, Oil change

Super friendly, inviting and don't make you feel dumb or cheated. Going to Buttera is better than a name brand dealership! They talk to you like they care about your car just as much as you, and talk to you as if you have the knowledge of cars, so I don't feel dumb when talking with them. Only issue is my alignment i did with them was mostly fixed, but instead of my car pulling to the left, it slightly pulls to the right. We have taken our cars to Buttera Motors off and on since 1981. We both have appreciated the small business attitude of Buttera Motors. Service has always been very good and timely. I just picked up my suv this morning and was very happy with turn around time (unexpected transmission and engine issues). I had my VW Tiguan towed to Buttera on Tuesday afternoon and they told me they couldn t get to it until Thursday or Friday. I was just pleased they could get to it! The estimate for repair was very fair and they proceeded with the work. My Tiguan was ready Tuesday afternoon. So happy with my car running like it should and having it back in my garage. I was pleased with the service I received from Buttera Motors for my MK5 Jetta. On the phone, I spoke with Ian, who was incredibly friendly and willing to address all of my questions and concerns. They even went above and beyond to provide me with estimates and repair some issues I was having with my Jetta that I did not initially ask for.A very straightforward and sincere group of automotive experts. They did a great job getting my car running. I brought it to the shop no crank no start and I was out of ideas of what it could be and tired of changing things, with no success. Buttera was able to figure it out and get my car drivable again. I am very grateful for the service I received and the shop stayed in touch with me informed me of issues they found and asked if I wanted them to fix the issues and if they should continue on. My drivers side wheel was making a horrible noise, sounded like my exhaust was dragging. I got under my car, nothing was dragging and nothing was loose. I didn't have time or tools on hand to figure it out so I sent it where I alway send my cars when I can't figure it out. Turned out I got a rock stuck in my caliper, easy fix. They noticed (I also noticed when I was under the car) that my drain plug was leaking a little bit, aperentaly the oil change place forgot to replace my crush washer or even put the old one back on. I've been coming here for years, only place I take my cars. I've had numerous great experiences here, just recently I had them do a pre purchase inspection on the gti I just recently bought.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've been going to Buttera since the early 1990's with 2 vehicles. First was my beloved:) 1987 VW Golf (rest in peace) that I purchased new while in the Army in Geissen Germany. The second is my current VW, a 2002 Passat that I puchased in 2008 and Buttera has done the majority of work on it. By the way, the Golf was still running after being purchased from me by my sisiter-in-law down in Oregon and finally died around 2015! Couldn t be more satisfied with the service performed on my Volkswagen CC. They even called me to tell me the technician had found and cleaned out a rats nest above the blower motor that was preventing the motor from operating efficiently. I thought I was going to have to replace it but after the nest was cleaned away the motor ran good as new.Services: General repairs & maintenance, A/C installation & repair

They are amazing!!My car was not sounding right. Hot summer sun A/C. They were fully booked I said squeeze me in if you. If it's through next week that's ok. They took care of my car oil fluids etc. Full check and had it ready in two days. I've had my 2012 VW in the shop over the last couple of months: battery replacement and oil change, some kind of cap replacement and oil clean up, and a new start/stop button. They've always squeezed me in so I could wait (I drive about 20 miles to them). I'm very happy with the customer service and the repairs, and really appreciate that I can go for a walk to get coffee while they fix things. Their prices are very reasonable (so much better than a dealer). My first visit was several months ago to have a headlight replaced (who knew they were so expensive!) They did it quickly and didn't charge me for the labor. There are always cool VWs or Porsches in the lot to look at. I had an awesome experience, super responsive on the phone, mechanic super chill to answer questions. I had a LOT of problems with my vehicle and they helped me look into each and figure out what was going on. Would recommend, really good honest and fair spot. Honest price and hard working folks. I have a pretty old 2012 golf so I had to fix issues every now and then. I do my research for best worth of my money and always go with Buttera. Lower price than dealers but high quality work and folkd there are hard working folks that I want to support

I have a 2007 Rabbit I ve brought here for years. The service is excellent and supremely trustworthy. I also love that the owner is carrying on the family business. These are good people and do great work with passion, grit, and soul. This review is a correction of a Cedar Park Church review that was placed in error as "would not recommend".We definitely would recommend this repair facility in the future. They have great communication, good workmanship, and the repair costs were lower then expected. The service team kept us up to date on our repairs, made us aware of other concerns that they had found. We appreciated that they allow the customer to make the decision, with out high pressure sales. Took them over a week to diagnose a dead battery that I told them was dead when I brought it in. Poor customer service. No communication from them at all, i had to call them after waiting for days/weeks to get any info on my diagnostic and repair quote. Took them 3.5 weeks to do a simple tune up and tire replacement on a scooter with a $400 labor charge!! (Just the labor, not parts!)Way to much for way to long! In my opinion, take your business somewhere else!

It did take a while for parts to arrive, the vehicle was kept in a secure location during that time frame and once the parts were in hand the work was performed quickly. Job well done , would highly recommend Buttera Motors to anyone looking for a reliable mechanic. As someone with a nearly 50 year old car and no garage, it s essential to have on hand lovely people to help when you ve no time or you need a fix above your skill/interest level. The quotes are consistent and even when something is found that throws the quote out the window I ve been comfortable and confident that I m not getting the run around. Essential.
