Great work at a great price. I recently had my truck worked on at The Shop, and I am very happy with the service I received. I was constantly updating with the progress of the work and never had to question what was going on with my vehicle. I would absolutely recommend The Shop to anyone in need of automotive work.

I was recommended The Shop several years ago and have always been pleased. Sam is a great mechanic and always treats you fairly. The Shop is the local place you can rest assured is not going sell you something unnecessarily and you can trust. Austin has helped me the last few times and is a guy who clearly knows his way around a vehicle as well. Even with a small miscommunication on the last trip I stand by a 5 star review. They'll take care of what your car needs.

Paid 1500 for a new rear end on my van. After the seal they put on failed and destroyed the entire rear end by leaking all the fluid out in less than a year they chose to take no responsibility for their mistake...Enjoy their competitive price, hope they get it right the first time... BTW, the next shop did it for 1200 and gave me a warranty.There's better people out there!

The Shop is great. I have found Sam and his team to be both fair and do quality work. I have taken my car to the shop multiple times and I have always had a an awesome experience. I will definitely keep going back!

A good, trustworthy mechanic can be tough to find. Repairs are solid, communication is great, prices are very fair and upfront. Unless they have to wait on a hard to find part to arrive, my car is ready to go same day. Sam is doing it right, thanks dude!

Sam is just fantastic. It's a 'shop' ... really ... he's such a car/truck guy. He's really helpful - answering questions and trying to find the best deal on parts. He's fast and well, I just can't recommend him enough. I had to get a new car - due to an air bag issue and I'll still take it to him whenever it's possible.

Customer service beyond remarkable. Austin went well out of his way to get my car operating properly. Long story short, he fixed it, a week later the issue came back and he made it right -- all at a fraction of what he could have charged. This place is a gem. Go there when your car needs help. Seriously.

I have been to The Shop multiple times for car lights and battery issues. They have incredible customer service, work very quickly and do not overcharge. These guys the very best in Ballard!

I really needed to find a new mechanic a little closer to home. It was a bit daunting to search around Ballard because there are so many mechanics here and I have already gone through a couple that I was not happy with. I found Sam very knowledgeable and is prices very reasonable. I recommend The Shop to everyone.

Been great honest mechanics for my car over the last few years. Sounds like some unexpected issues with the building came up and now the phone is cutoff. My car was in the middle of work being done on it. Hoping they resurface soon so they can finish....

I've taken my vehicle to Sam several times now, everything from a clutch replacement to minor engine work, and it's been a straightforward and upfront process every time. Can't recommend this place enough.

Great work, always reasonable, upfront and honest. When other shops said spend 1000s on x, y, z repairs, Austin looked and said those things are not needed, don't waste your money.

Came in with an overheating Acura and they went above and beyond to get me in asap and had it diagnosed the same day. Can't say enough good things about these guys-wouldn't definitely recommend to every one of my friends.
