Just today I had Rich s build a seat for my 2016 BMW R1200RT. Custom fitting, listened to my concerns, and they made some suggestions.A great process, cool shop, and nice people. They retained my factory seat heat, custom fit the foam to my body, added a gel insert, and sewed a new leather cover. A high quality product that comes with a guarantee.If it s not right after I spend some time on it, they will fix it and make it right. My highest recommendation. If you re anywhere near Seattle/PNW, it s time and money well spent.

Had my seat redone at Richs. Cool experience. Here's some pictures. In my case they reused my existing seat frame. It's an all day event. Showed up at 8 and left at 5pm. I really enjoyed the whole experience. They do test fit seatings as they redo your seat. Then you go out for a test ride before the leather is put on. You can pick just able anything you can think of for your new seat. There's different leathers, stitching, colors and styles of leather and thread. It does cost a pretty penny, but fun for sure.

Awesome place to get a custom seat made for your motorcycle.It was a nearly all-day process but it was very well worth it. There was one person that made my seat and he worked with me to make sure that the seat fit me and my bike. Met and talked to the owner. The whole shop was down to earth and very pleasant to deal with.I am very pleased with the seat and the color/material selection.

Had my BMW K1600 GTL seat revised Nov 2019 at Rich's shop in Kingston WA. What an amazing job and awesome staff! As a 30 year Air Force pilot veteran I demand performance and perfection when dealing with my equipment - and Rich's Custom Seats did not disappoint!Percision workmanship and stunning appearance, this custom seat is an absolute pleasure to handle those 6+ hour rides...Thanks again for the outstanding saddle and wonderful hospitality!Major Chuck Grenkow (retired)

Rich's shop is great. He knows what he's doing. And his guys do great work. I'm extremely happy with my seat and the extra work they put in on some custom features I was looking for.

I knew Rich made world class motorcycle seats but wasn't aware he did auto upholstery too. I took my tired looking 1967 Corvette seats to him. He immediately noticed that that seat bottoms were not original. I had no idea and I've owned the car 25 years. He also saved me money by only doing the seat bottoms since the seat backs were original and still in good shape. The car looks amazing with the new seats. Thanks Rich!

Got a new seat put on my bike. Rich and his fellow employees did a great job fitting me to my seat and making sure I was happy with it. The quality is well worth the trip to their shop. Whenever I had other questions they had no problem answering anything I was curious about doing to my bike and that meant a lot to me. And when I first strolled in Rich came right up to me and introduced himself. You just don't see that in most places now of days. I am definitely referring Rich's to anyone who asks.

After years of wanting a custom seat for my street glide, I finally got down to the shop to have Rich make me a seat. I opted for leather, heat and a backrest for my solo seat and it turned out beautifully! Aaron even matched the sticking to my paint which is a nice touch. Two days in the saddle later and I am very pleased with my purchase and recommend Rich's Custom Seats to anyone looking for an excellent quality custom seat.Also, we were fortunate that the suite above the shop was available for the night and we were very happy with the accommodations.

Rich is an old school expert that does fine custom work. He put a brand new top on our Z4 and it's factory perfect. If you want it done right.....take it to Rich.

The entire team is pretty cool to work with while Rich encourages hanging out in his very cool shop being part of the process. Its amazing how many hours go into building custom motorcycle seats.

There are few businesses that I consider PERFECT. This is one of them. I've had my custom saddle on my BMW R1200R for ten years now, and I was just thinking, damn, it still looks great. In addition to the fantastic leather work, Rich adjusted my saddle height (up) and suggested I get bar risers for better ergonomics. With the riser, the bike became immensely comfortable to ride long distances, and I just wanted to give this business some props.

Rich took his time for a true custom motorcycle seat (same day!). If you don't think a good seat matters, you haven't had a custom seat fit for you. My motorcycle is better balanced as well as a lot more comfy for the long rides. Pam did the leather work & stitching. Love my new seat!

Rich and his crew are knowledgeable and efficient. They customized a Harley seat for my wife and I. We are 5' and 6'4" respectively and the finished seat fits us both like a glove. Custom stitching and designs really enhance both the comfort and looks of my ride.Update: Over 1,000 miles in and it is still comfortable and stylish. I will definitely be be working with Rich and his staff again!

A friend and I both went out to Rich s to have seats done, they were very professional in helping you achieve the most comfortable seat possible. The process was fun and there s a restaurant and Safeway nearby for food. And if you get five seats done you can get a free toaster lol. We both ended up with beautiful comfortable seats and enjoyed the day.!Service: Body & Trim

This place is awesome. They really try to make your seat comfortable! We have a fairly new Indian (2020) and in the same day, they reworked our existing seat to be more comfortable, adding foam and a gel pad too. These people CARE. Not a bad price either! We expected to pay much more!

Rich's custom seats is simply the best. My previous motorcycle, which I owned for 12 years and four long (2 week plus) trips had one of these and they are worth every penny. Rich stands by his work like the very best of "old school" businessmen and works very hard to ensure that everyone who comes in the door leaves happy. If you intend to try long days in the saddle, he makes the perfect saddle for you and your significant riding partner. This is simply the best money you can spend on making your bike fit you.

Great service, I arrived a little early was greeted and offered coffee immediately. Right at 8:30 Rich brought my bike in and work started. This is a cool place to spend a few hours even if you aren't having work done. Everyone is really friendly, including Django the dog. The quality of work is superb. It's just fun to see a Craftsman at work.

One of my riding buddies got his Rich s custom seat a few weeks ago. We both ride Yamaha FJR1300 s. He had Rich and his team custom design and replace his aftermarket Corbin seat. I was going to buy his Corbin seat from him as a result. We met up and I did the WORST thing I could have ever done... sat on his bike with the new Rich s custom seat. I tried his Corbin out and was 100% convinced I too was going to have a Rich s custom seat made. The following day, I called to make my appointment. I can t express how scared I was to drop BIG money on having a custom seat made. Now that it s done, I can t express the the sigh of relief I did it! My Wife and I spent the entire day with Rich and his team of professional craftsman! Our personalized seats were hand scalped by Aaron. He was AWESOME! To watch every step of his ability crafting our custom saddle was truly one of my best memories! He fitted the rear seat to my wife and then the front to me. After my 15 minute test ride, I wanted a modification and Aaron was on it! With my friends recommendation, I got the hi/low seat heater. BEST MONEY SPENT as I am an all season rider! I highly recommend getting the heat option to anyone even thinking about it! The experience was awesome, the seat is out of this world comfortable and I am a true believer in having this done! Rich, thank you for employing such incredible master craftsmen! Aaron, your personal attention to detail every step of the way was worth twice the price I paid at the end of the day! Cheers to another satisfied customer!!!

My husband and I are from Vancouver Island BC and both had seats customized for our BMW GS' at Rich's and immediately continued on for a 2 week trip touring as far south as we could go. I can't say enough about the courteous efficient service and wonderful product that Rich and his team sculpted. Our seats were so awesome that there were times when we would stop for a break and get back on our bikes to drink our coffee or whatever because they were so comfortable. As an added bonus Rich invited us to stay in his suite for out of town guests or to take advantage of his "free" camping facilities. The entire property was spotless!!This place is top notch! You won't be disappointed. Worth every effort to get there and great value for your buck. 10/10 for sure.

Over the years I have had 4 seats done by Rich. I have a 29 inch inseam so, I have to fit all my bikes to my impish stature :) The last one was Alligator Belly on my Harley Heritage Classic and it came out nothing less than divine! I get compliments every where I go!Rich also did the seat on my dual sport. I can touch flat footed yet I did not loose my travel. There are upholstery guys and then there is Rich kind of like there are framers and then there are cabinet makers. I believe that World Wide, Rich and his team are the very best in the business anywhere, anytime!As to the guy with the prostate problem - dude, it is not the upholstery dudes responsibility to solve your prostate troubles. Try Super Beta Prostate. Us old bikers need all the help we can get. And to the cost - If you want the best, it costs. (& this shop is the best as I have done side by side comparison with Riches & Corbin. Riches craftsmanship is simply superior.)Mick Perry (The Karate Guy)

From the moment we arrived our experience here was the best. We had excellent accommodations and the process of making our seats truly comfortable was fast and efficient. There are true craftsmen and women here who make this business one I'm happy to recommend! My husband and I had just completed a 1500 mile ride on Hwy 101before we got to Rich's and our seats were the worst part of the trip. When we left on our redesigned seats we rode over 700 miles finishing up our Hwy 101 adventure while smiling all the way.

Rich and his Team customized the seat of my Triumph Rocket III this week. The finished product is absolutely amazing. I'm 6' 4" so they rebuilt the entire seat moving me back 3" and up 2". My backrest was re-positioned as well! I find it much easier to maneuver my bike and a much more comfortable ride! Huge Kudos to Rich and his Team for the very professional, experienced and friendly customer service! I stayed in the room above the shop, which was excellent! This is 4 star accommodation. It is like new. It's very clean, comfortable and the price is very affordable. The entire experience was most enjoyable and I love my customized seat!!! THANK YOU!!

I have a KTM 1290 Duke that was horribly uncomfortable after about 1 hour. After Rich rebuilt my seat, it's good for all-day touring. Amazing difference from stock .

Went in with some minor damage to a saddle bag. He fixed it right up as I waited. I asked him what I owe him...he says dont worry about it as it was a minor repair! Great shop, with great guys working there. Its a bit out of the way for me cause I live on the east of the sound but the customer service and quality of work is so good. I'll definitely make the trip for future projects!

I heard Rich's seat were the best. I started to have prostate problems so I made an appointment for my FJR1300 and spend the day in his shop. Rich pretty much did his own thing. I kept telling him the seat wasn't right but he assured me everything would be great. $1200 and ten hours later the seat is still painful. After riding it for a year or so hoping it would breakin, I asked to have the seat altered. They want more money. Beautiful seat but not worth the time or money.

Rich has made two different Seats on two different motorcycles for me over the years! His seats have literally saved by ass time & time again! My only complaint is that he doesn't offer an option for you to put YOUR NAME on your Seat! Hey Rich, Please add an option to others in the future to replace the "riches custom seat" patch with a person's label. His seats are the best, and worth the price and then some!

I only give Rich's a 5 because there's no option beyond! Sadly I waited 5 years before spending a completely enjoyable Thursday engaged in the process of watching these guys create a perfectly custom fitted seat to my anatomy for my Yamaha FJR1300. Rich expertly leads his team of craftsmen, artists, sculptors and electricians to produce a 100% guaranteed custom fitted seat. For the first time in 40,000 miles, a two hour ride back home gave me ZERO pains in my ass. On all future rides, I'll no longer NEED to stop for a break. Rather, I'll stop when I want.Quint, I wish I could have met you. Thank you for answering all my questions when I booked my appointment this Tuesday morning for this Thursday! You took the time and answered all of my many questions! RIPRich, thank you again and give my best regards to your team!
