So I had some issues with my 2003 K2500HD. I had driven it to WY and back (2000 miles) and thought an oil change and fluid check would be a good idea.During the inspection it was discovered that my transfer case was destroyed and there was maybe a half cup of silvery metallic liquid in the bottom along with pieces of metal. It was a good thing that I never engaged 4-wheel drive while on that trip. I also asked for the tires to be spun balanced and rotated and the oil changed. They installed a Jasper brand component which came with a warranty. That's cool.All the work was completed and they noted a dye-detected small leak of oil where the oil filter attaches to the engine, but that will be for another time.Then....about a week later I was out picking up dinner and my truck would not start. It would turn over but then die....no solid idle. I was able to drop it off at Benchmark and they found that the fuel pump has failed. I've owned the truck since 87,000 miles and never had that replaced so at 202,000 miles, I'd say it performed for quite a long while before failure.Of course I had a FULL tank of gas, but they worked through all these things and got my truck beck and running. The pros at benchmark are great. Your vehicle problems are solved when you take them there.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations, Wheel alignment, Brakes

Reliable and friendly service from a privately-owned and operated establishment. Careful check was made on my vehicle's components, fluid levels, and filters to ensure proper and safe operation of the car. If overall care proves too costly, the staff will recommend repair of the most vital components first and then work out a means of performing the remaining repairs in a timely, agreed fashion to fit one's wallet.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

My son had Benchmark Automotive do some work on his Jeep, and was expressing how awesome they were to work with. Well, I was having electrical issues with my pickup and went to Benchmark for a diagnosis - and they were quick to identify a few other things that would also need attention. They were very clear in providing a repair plan. Robert called to let me know how things were going and to get pre-approval on any additional costs which was pretty cool. Benchmark Auto is a genuine, honest and trustworthy business. Hard to find these days. So glad I finally found a place that knows their stuff regarding your vehicle whatever the make. They quickly fit me in with an appointment and finished in a timely manner. They are very knowledgeable and were able to explain the issues with my car so I understood. I really appreciate that they treated me as if I were family. Definitely found the place to go with my vehicle problems and regular maintenance. 10 star recommendation!! Second visit to Benchmark, moved from the Honda dealership. Instead of following a prescribed schedule, they looked at what was actually needed according to my car usage, while thinking about longevity and safety as well. They have real life knowledge of auto maintenance and I trust their recommendations. Feeling great about having them take over my regular car maintenance!Service: Auto maintenance

There is a lot of unearned trust that goes in to working with a mechanic, even more so when you're a female who has had numerous bad experiences with mechanics trying to upsell you. Luckily I never once felt that way with Benchmark! My vehicle had a lot of damage due to a hydroplaning incident, and despite the fact that they were slammed, they allowed me to drop off my vehicle for inspection the same day. Scott was incredible and kept me up to date every step of the way and was even able to squeeze me in at the last minute at the expense of his time. That in itself speaks volumes to the integrity of this company and the lengths they will go to help their customers.The price was also very reasonable given how much work was required. I didn't feel ripped off to taken advantage of. I would not hesitate to recommend Benchmark!

So me and my wife were referred to these dishonest incapable and simply looking to make a quick 300 dollars off of me when they did absolutely nothing to my vehicle. I told them what the problems were and they were adamant about saying that we still owes them 300 dollars. And our AC would cost 2000 and on top of that we needed a window fixed. Which they wanted another 1600 for that. It s a 2010 Nissan why would we sink 3k plus the supposed diagnosis was 300. Common sense would tell u that our vehicle is not even worth that much!!! We signed no agreement and was not given even a simple verbal agreement for them to diagnosis the vechicle when they were already told what the issue was. So I m turn they decided to charge us 280 dollars for an estimate. Never in my life has this ever happened. An honest mechanic always gives us prices before anything is done to our vehicles. The owner states that we should of asked him. Who runs a business like this???!! On top of that they were threatening towards my wife and 6 year old nephew. Hostility and anger was all we saw in his eyes. I am sharing this bc I don t want anyone else to be blindsided by this company. We are reasonable people who understand how an honest business is ran and this by far is the worst I have ever encountered. I prey no one else has this horrible experience with this company.

I have a 1964 Ford Mustang that was leaking fluid from rear axle. Benchmark Auto did the repair which was completed on time and on budget. They are friendly, courteous and extremely knowledgeable.
