Slow respones and another hidden cost was identified, Which is one of the key reason to move to a different company. You still have not removed your tank from my property so I am going to start charging you rental space on my property of $10 per week beginning the day I notified you that we had discontinued your service since you think you can charge me for the removal of your equipment.

Tried to set up an account with Amerigas, scheduled my appointment for mid day. Same day I call to ask where they will be at. They tell me they won t be out to survey out site until 7:30pm. Almost 7 hours later than anticipated. I took the day off to sit around and wait for something that was never coming. WITH ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION. 7:30 comes and goes and no one shows up. We get a call 3 days later to ask us about our appointment. Right there I immediately canceled. According to the other reviews, glad I dodged a bullet.

Would give a negative star rating if available! It is running in the negative temperatures and we are out of propane. They have missed their delivery date by weeks, and keep telling us they're on the way and will be out "today" or "asap".Calling does no good as you can only get through to call centers in other countries. Tried to talk to a manager as we feel like this is an emergency, but they were "in a meeting". They then gave me a number to call for emergencies, which was a non working number. We will be canceling and finding a new company, as their service has been very unreliable and ridiculous.

Update: AmericaGas addressed my concerns. Charges were reversed and the replacement propane was delivered Free of charge. Thank you!The tech did not close the vent valve on the tank when he filled it and 1/2 of the new propane went into my home. I have contacted customer service and still have not received the propane that owe me as well as a reversal on the charges to fix their own mistake!!! The tech was also about a week late in filling the tank. Unsafe practices and poor customer service. I ve done my duty to warn the public!

The Nordstrom's of propane service. They were in & out without me even knowing. Setting up an account was flawless and smooth. Great service and great prices. You really can't ask for more.

Overall customer experience has been the worst since the local office closed. We have ran out of propane even after being told our request had been expedited over 3 times. There was no response au to contact the actual distributor. Then the next delivery they took over a month deliver gas.

Today a truck almost rear ended me! The roads are slick...they did not slow down and then did not stop! Tried to call in to report the driver....got cut off 2 times!Called the sheriff and reported it.BAD company!!!

These posts reflect exactly my feelings from before a year ago until now. I am afraid I am one of the most angry persons for what I have learned. Their call center now says they are out of Ohio but they are staffed with foreigners not in the USA. The accents gave them away and I got one of them in customer service to admit he was not in the USA. This is worse than you think. Our personal data and addresses and banking etc all done electronically our data may be in China. Once in China they own our data in their minds and can do with it what they will. THIS is a fact of law, so know this about every app for every gadget made in China that rewire you to hook up via internet that users agreement is tricky.

Our delivery mysteriously got changed to every 6 week's without notice our business ran out.This is how we heat our 17,000 square foot store. We called for an emergency refill two days ago.After being assured delivery was enroute yesterday....still no propane.Our store has been closed since! We will be switching to a company that doesn't play games and will actually do what they say they will do!!Used to be a good company. Amerigas bought them out and we've had nothing but problems.The person on the phone, indicated we were locked in at a lower rate and use is based on the previous year.So basically they are rationing fuel due to their increase in pricing, is my guess. Nobody can possibly be this incompetent!!

I ve experienced a lot of frustration with Amerigas/ Northern energy from excessive hold times, if someone answers, consistently inconsistent information as well as a huge variation In pricing (3tanks to fill on property) $2.39-3.69) and $75 in fees . 3 week delivery after order placed & notification of 20% remaining! EXPECT THIS!

Terrible customer service, After two weeks of calling for a refill gave up and called Aspen Valley Propane.Two days later had a new tank, the delivery person was friendly and made sure all the pilot lights were on. Now struggling to get AmeriGas to come pick up their its been 3 weeks

I hate that this Goliath bought out our little local community gas company. I used to be able to talk to someone within minutes who actually knew what propane is. Now I get to sit in hold for 30-40 minutes just to get someone in a call center 3000 miles away that knows nothing about propane. All they can do is schedule a tech to come out and charge me just to ask a few simple questions. Our old local guys would've been happy to talk over the phone for free, or even stop by and check it out since they're always in this area anyways. The call center girl couldn't even tell me how much the visit was going to cost! And God forbid I needed help soon because the window was weeks away.This is a small town in NE Washington where everyone knows each other and helps each other. Amerigas effectively eliminated an entire trade from our community. They actually sent out apology letters to everyone in town and thanked us all for our patience while we FREEZE in the middle of winter. They are very proud to help us MODERNIZE our gas experience by reducing local personnel to eliminate walk in customer service and force us to do everything online (which has proven unreliable) or call and wait on hold to get NO ANSWERS. WHAT A SLAP IN THE FACE! Half of us don't even have internet, phone service is spotty at best, AND THIS IS MODERNIZED?! Do some research on the community you're about to monopolize before you expect us to be thankful. YOU REPRESENT EVERYTHING THAT HAS DRIVEN CUSTOMER SERVICE INTO THE GROUND IN THIS COUNTRY AND SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO USE "AMERICA" AS ANY PART OF YOUR NAME.

2 weeks ago I prepaid 800 for propane they missed the delivery date on the sep 22 and still have not delivered my propane! They don t respond to emails nor the 800 phone number messages either!

First of all, they haven't even been here for years, so the company you're giving 5 stars to is the one that amerigas bought out and promptly RUINED. You are not welcome in this community amerigas, for way too many reasons to list. There is nothing good or reliable about your service. Every step of the way you distance yourselves from your customers and expect us to be thankful. Aspen Valley Propane (highly recommended) is replacing my tank today, then I'm canceling my service with amerigas. BEST DAY EVER!!

Did anyone read the new contract? To quit AmeriGas you will be charged it's either a $250 fee for them to pick up their tank, or $350. So, they've got you coming and going.

originally agreed to two 500Gal tanks, Never got the 2nd tank installed causing us to go with out heat for 3 weeks in the middle of winter because they couldn't get up our driveway (the whole reason i wanted two 500s to prevent that issue) then when i choose to go with some one else that would give me what i wanted. It took them over a year to come pick up the tank several phone calls later always saying they will call me back and never did. They only came and got it when i threaten to drag it out into the middle of my cattle field and dump it. Id never recommend or go back to them again

We bought propane from Northern Energy at a quoted price, then when we received the invoice they had added 3 additional fees. Haz mat fee, Will call fee and fuel recovery fee. An extra $24.93 in fees. This is in addition to taxes, which we expected. I would not recommend this company.

We fill our 500 gallon tank twice a year. They always show up and make sure I have a full tank. I love our delivery guy! Thank you!!

worst customer service I've ever experienced. I'm on auto fill yet every winter I run out of propane. I had to call them 3 times and email them twice to even get on their emergency delivery and I still don't have propane and don't know when I will receive it.

I have been a customer many years but since they changed to automated status, you can't get ahold of anyone. And they don't come in the timeframe they told me. Now I'm low on gas and they are overdue.. I will use up my reserve money they already got from me,then say goodbye to them..

We were down 15 0/0 called Monday for their usual Friday delivery they said it would take up to 10 days for our delivery. I told them if they can t deliver by this Friday I m changing company

I live im Alaska and when i had someone check on my place and it was out of fuel the ladies tha answer the phonr did a great job on getting my tank filled up so my house did not freeze.Thanks AgainMorgan Evans.
