I have known Miguel for years and years! He was always the mechanic for my dad! So I have taken my cars to him! He brought my 2012 Volkswagen GTI back to life after a poor design on the chain tensioner it skipped a tooth and bent some valves. He replaced head gasket, water pump, valves and the timing chain including a new updated chain tensioner! He always kept me updated and always does extra on his work to ensure cars don t come back for repairs for a while! He recently worked on my 2011 Ford explorer. He is so honest that after taking part the entire engine to replace the head gasket. He came to realize it needed a new engine due to damage on the block and crankcase from a broken water pump. He did order a new engine and put it on after consulting with me first and did not charge me any extra labor! 2 weeks ago he also changed the entire clutch system on my old work truck 1992 F150! Not just that, he noticed the engine was off time and now it accelerates way smoother and doesn t shake! I really appreciate his work and honesty! He never charges for diagnostics only for the repairs he does! Miguel works on all of my vehicles because he is honest, straight forward and completes his repairs as estimated. Miguel the owner appears at firstto be a nice person and a good mechanic. Through my experience after having multiple things done on my car i noticed the price always being much higher than estimated. you ll also notice his need to condescend assuming you don t have any knowledge of how a vehicle works. apparently this shops hourly rate of $90 an hour only applies when doing certain things. diagnosis of your vehicle does not count toward the hourly rate it s an addition of however long he diagnoses something. at the end of a job he could have diagnosed a few different things. all being an extra fee to his hourly rate. basically to put it simply it s how he up charges without asking the customer first. times are tough and not everyone has the extra money to suddenly have to pay extra because he fixed a simple non essential issue at an inflated charge. to me hourly is the amount of time it takes to complete a job. diagnosis is part of the job.

I have been going to Miguels for over 10 years. He is the most honest, straightforward and affordable mechanic I have encountered. When he quotes me a price I can be sure that it is what is needed with no additional cost in uneeded fixes.

It s nice to find YOUR mechanic of your dreams.Service top notch. I say that because of this.Knowledge is power. Showing me what is wrong and explains to me the what s , how s, when s and why s.That s what you want in life. Someone you go to for service and you learn something plus get the service you came for.
