Went here a couple months ago after moving to Washington and needing a mechanic in the area and was thoroughly impressed with Iron Mikes. They allowed me to do an early morning drop off and an evening pick up due to my work schedule. They emailed me a quote that day and then called me at work on my lunch break to go over everything wrong with my car and how essential it was to fix or if I was fine without it. Estimates for time and price were spot on and they were very accommodating for a busy schedule.

Iron Mike's philosophy is clearly being knowledgeable, honest, and doing the right thing. They earned a lifetime customer today.If you aren't taking your car to Mike and his crew you're going to the wrong mechanic.

Received a vehicle when my sister passed. It would surge after it was started and quickly stop running. Contacted the guys at Iron Mike's and they fixed it up nicely. Runs like a new car. Trustworthy. That is the main thing you look for in a mechanic.This is where you go to find it.I brought my subaru in to have them run diagnostics. Mike went above and beyond and instead of choosing an option to make himself money, gave me advice that helped me resolve the issue with spending as little out of pocket as possible. He literally said to me:"We're not in the business of taking advantage of people. I'm a human just like you and my advice doesn't make me any money. I'm just telling you what I would do in your position."If you want to be treated like family and have a mechanic that was a former Master Tech at Subaru for 10+ years work on your car and give you advice you can trust, go here.6 of 5 stars. Just went in for some preventive maintenance, coolant flush and brake fluid change. They got me right in at a good price and the price did not change from the original quote. I was very pleased with their work and the staff was very friendly. I found out about him on a recommendation from my neighbor who had work done on his F150 four-wheel drive.

Wow! These guys are the best. I received a way over priced (and misdiagnosed) quote from my Subaru dealership for an oil leak. Mike was not only extremely accommodating to get me in quickly and repair the problem, but he took the time to go over my car's entire maintenance history. I've since had to bring the car in a few times for repairs (old vehicle) and they have all been super nice and helpful. The thing I appreciate the most is, you can tell these guys care and they are honest. No upselling unnecessary parts and repairs. Good people who know a LOT about cars. Even brought my dad over during one visit and they helped him diagnose something on his car while working on mine. I'll be a customer here now as long as I live in the area. Mike and his team are great! They helped me out with figuring out a rattle at startup that was not throwing a check engine light. It turned into a big job but they did their due diligence on diagnostics and explained to me exactly what went wrong and how they fixed it. Were great on pricing, didnt take advantage of labor costs actually saved me money in the long run. They definitely work by their motto of customers are family. Will only take my car to them now for any future issues. Highly recommend!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

Exactly the kind of mechanic you want. Honest and up front. I know a bit about working on cars and I trust that I'm not getting ripped off or "little lady'd" here. Absolutely great service. Anyone with minimal mechanical knowledge (including me) knows speaking with a mechanic is stressful to say the least. Mike and his employees alleviated this. Mike answered any questions that I had, in depth enough to have an understanding of what was happening with my vehicle, but simple enough not to have me lost in the sauce. Prior to me ever even agreeing to pay for labor he did a couple on the spot fixes for free.Prices felt fair, and quality of outcome was unbeatable. A few weeks after the fixes an unrelated issue occurred (through no fault of Mike or his shop), and Mike gave me the run down of what was going on and told me he'd be happy to fix it, but also that it is a simple fix and I could do it myself in an afternoon. Opting to do it myself he gave me a quick overview of what I need, where I could get it, and the basic steps to the fix.IF I looked and found another place to do the same work for a couple hundred cheaper I would go to Iron Mikes anyway just for the peace of mind. Could not recommend more.

I was in a tough position after poor work completed by my dealership. Iron Mike Auto got me in right away, completed the repairs quickly, and explained the the situation in a way that also repaired the trust I was losing in mechanics. Iron Mike Auto will be my go to mechanic for all future service. We have recently had work done on all 3 of our vehicles. We are extremely impressed with their knowledgeable and friendly service. What is most helpful is the follow-up we receive detailing what the issues are and what was required to fix the issues. The best mechanic we have ever dealt with! Very honest and trustworthy! Straight forward, honest and they do good work.I've taken three cars here and my wife was tempted and took one of our vehicles to another shop and that blew up in our faces. These guys do great work and were quick to help me out when things have gone sideways on my three vehicles. From now on they are my only call.

I had been quoted $500+ to replace a "failed sensor" on my Subaru Forester. Mike was super friendly over the phone and offered to calibrate my sensor just to be sure it needed replacing. He was able fit me in the middle of the day - within 10 minutes my sensor was working properly and all warning lights were clear! Although I didn't have any work done this time, I will surely be back in the future if needed!

Awful friendly folks here, legit place. I had an issue with smelling coolant after a drive that the mechanic at work more or less misdiagnosed and these guys got right to issue and handled everything at a fair price and within the time frame we discussed. They mentioned an upcoming issue I should address within the next year and left my car smelling it's typical old lady self. If you happen to live around this area I would highly recommend taking a day off work and dropping your vehicle down here. The whole point in this crazy world is to keep your "a to b" transportation rolling right? This seems like the place to go to me.

We were visiting family when our truck started missing and the check engine light started flashing. Iron Mike Automotive got us in even though they were slammed. They repaired the truck and got us back on the road at a very reasonable cost. They were personable and explained things amazingly. If I lived in the area they would definitely be my go too mechanic for everything. I would recommend them to anyone.

I've been looking for a mechanic that cares for a VERY long time! These men are honest and get the job done without any issues. Great prices and service. THEY HAVE THE FLUFFIEST CAT . Mike is great and I'm not suprised that they have amazing reviews. It's good to interact with someone that cares about your car as much as you do .

I was referred to Mike by a mutual friend after getting very high quotes from others in the area. Mike basically is a Subaru genius and was able to fix my car up for a cost I was very happy with. The car is running better than it every has, literally. I will continue to bring my car down to Mike and would highly recommend you do too!

The guys at Iron Mike's are so professional. Prices are fair. They are quick and knowledgeable about Toyota vehicles. They did work on my car (transmission fluid flush, replaced engine air filter) and I couldn't be happier.

Did a good job of getting my vehicle back into shape to pass emissions testing. Mechanically proficient and friendly in person, phone and email communications are a bit lacking (failed to call back, messages through the website not returned, etc). Would definitely recommend as long as you take the initiative to follow up yourself.

Mike is professional, friendly, and fast.He has worked on both my Toyota RAV4 and Subaru Forester. In both cases he explained the problems and necessary repairs, as well as which should be prioritized. He recently replaced my Forester's head gasket and it ended up costing way less than the dealership had quoted me. I recommend him to all my friends and family.

Worst mechanic I ve used in my entire life. Paid $360 to fix a bad seal on my transmission and my car is worse than before. Before I just had a small leak, now I can t even drive it and it needs a new transmission. They do not care about anything but taking your money. I also paid for an oil change that they didn t even do. If I could rate lower I would. Will be sure and tell everyone I know to avoid this business.Service: General repairs & maintenance
