�AAAAAAAA+++++++++++ service and quality was superb, the owner Rob you can ask for a better PR person to deal with. I traveled approximately 250 miles round-trip for the service that I received.Need a transmission repair or replaced. He s been in business for 35 years so I m sure he knows what he s doing once again thanks again Robs great experience.

I really can't say enough about the team at Central Transmission. I work in the car business and I have never been more impressed. they have done so many jobs others quoted 10 to 12k and I leave paying a 3rd of the competition price and the job actually done right. How much is it worth to have it done right the first time? Not to mention they always go through and build them stronger then the factory so you don't just end up there later with the same issue like the dealer loves to do you!! Do yourself a favor and call Rob and tell him what you have and he will point you in the right direction. You can trust he will always be there helping his local clients and community! I might just see you there!

I have known these guys for a while now and I use to work at a shop across the street and always helped us with transmissions when we needed it and earlier this year I had my transmission rebuilt and they got it done quickly and ended up taking a road trip to South Dakota and back and the transmission did amazing and didn t break down and didn t have to worry if anything was going to happen while on the trip. A big thanks to Rob and the guys for the work and all the help you have been for me and my family

I was calling around looking for someone who could fix my Dodge Ram transmission (48RE) and I stumbled upon Rob and his shop.He knew what the problem was right away and fixed my transmission. Like holy smokes fast. I have already got in contact with Rob to help me with my other vehicle. This will be a winter time project though.I strongly recommend Rob and his shop. Don't like to write a bad review about anybody but I had to. After the owner Rob missed 4 promise date when i finally got my truck back it was damaged and all Rob did was laugh and said it was that way when i brought it in. It wasn't. Don't trust him or a business that only takes cash. Lots of other shop out there. Don't use this one. He's like dealing with a used car salesmanService: Transmission

Rob is an awesome technician and great person. I drive an old Volvo and he fixed the transmission 3 years ago. Still running strong after 30.000+ miles. I will be back for a recommended maintenance soon. Rob.Thank you so much. Always a pleasure.Honest shop,honest service.

Very unprofessional. Very quick to take your vehicle in. Took 2 + month (was promised 5 days) and $2000.00. My truck still has the same issue. I just had to get it out of there. I could not handle the run around from Rob. Never answer phone. Never calls back. Had to show up in person just to hear, we are working on it it ll be done tomorrow, well tomorrow turned into weeks and weeks into months. I m out 2000$ and my truck isn t fixed.Service: Transmission

I had a super duty transmission and a F150 transmission done Within a couple months of each other. I did have issues with the F150 The torque converter failed. They did change brands updated the transmission to even heavier duty at no extra charge but t upgraded and took care of the problem. Excellent service great guys to deal with.

These guys are awesome. I brought my car here for a brand new transmission. Not only did they do a great job, when I didn t have the money right away, they allowed my car to stay in their garage with no storage cost. To top it off they fixed my broken mirror and door without me asking and at no charge. Rob also gave me advice on who to call for a service he doesn t usually provide. WOW

Disappointed.Took my first vehicle there years ago. They had best price, great service, and turned the truck around quickly. This year its a different story. Price is inline with a new trans from the dealership, $400 higher out the door than quoted by phone, and i have had to make 8 follow up phone calls in 2 weeks. I was told project would be done in 3 business days, it has now been over two weeks, still not done. every day they tell me they will call me. I always wait the full day to give benefit of the doubt, they never call. I have had to call each time. very very disappointed. I hope the workmanship is better than the customer service. I will not return, and I will not recommend. I was starting to wonder if my car was even at their shop anymore or if it was gone.

NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!! If you would like your vehicle back in a timely manner, don't take it in to this place. They procrastinate, they are not honest with you. I had my car in this shop since 8/7/17, I paid him $651 for what they supposedly did, and my car is still not fixed. It literally sat in their shop for 2 weeks, without them even touching it. When trying to get an update on what is going on with the car Rob, gives you an excuse to get you off the phone. He tells you he will call you back and he never calls you back. He then starts to ignore your calls and never returns voice messages. I had to start calling him from my work phone so that he would not recognize my number on his caller ID. I had to present myself at the shop numerous times to get an update. I had to literally stand in front of him as he order parts he knew he needed since day one. He then tells you your car will be ready on such day and at such time and when you call to confirm he tells you it s not ready yet, and to give him another day. Then he keeps giving you the same excuses. At this point I just wanted the truth, if he could fix my car or not. My final attempt was calling him asking him for an update. He told me he would go find out and would call me right back and of course he never did. So, I showed up at his shop, my war was not even being worked on. In that moment, I just asked him how much I owed him and to give me back my car. I will take it to another mechanic that is competent and can fix it. Worst Experience Ever. The worst thing of all is that Rob, is the owner of this place and no matter how many times you tell him you are without a car and you really need your car back, he will not hurry up. There is absolutely no sense of urgency at this place. Who can be without a vehicle for an entire month? NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO BACK TO CENTRAL TRANSMISSION.

Rob did a great job scheduling me in, getting my vehicle repairs performed as per the timeline we had agreed on. The communication and updates I recieves from the shop were also very good. I've only driven one day since the repairs (trans. replaced) and thus far my vehicle is working flawlessly. I would recommend this shop due to the above mentioned items as well as the overall professionalism. I did shop around and the price was fair concidering the repairs; I have worked as a technician in the past and the quote on labor and parts is what I expected, i.e. no surprises.

Was recommended from a good friend. I am a very pleased to say that the owner Rob went above and beyond. He not only fixed our Transmission but also fixed our door handle inside and out. Oh the ignition and our pulley for our emergency break release was also adressed. I would definitely recommend this business to anybody. Very professional, courteous and helpful. He was able to complete all of this within a week. Totally Awesome!

Awesome shop and great employees. Rob and Pat have always been on top of our insane truck problems (that'll teach us to buy a what we thought would be a nice truck with "minimal" issues). Got our transmission replaced for a pretty decent price considering the cost of those things and took it back in for some more repairs. Rob and Pat have also been very patient with us even when I call a lot. Rob explained things so that I could understand what was going on with the truck and never once made me feel like I was being over charged or yanked around for being a "female" (we all know it happens ladies)!! He also has great recommendations on products.

I needed a flywheel resurfaced for a specialized vehicle, Rob was very polite, called around to get specs as to cut a 2 step in the deck cerface. Rob really took care of me . He has done several transmissions for me in the past 15 years but stopping too help me out like he did was beyond my expectations as it's a not a money making job. He showed me that it's not all about $$$, thank you Central Trans, and Well done Rob! It's nice to know there are honest shops out there.

I would give ZERO (0) stars if that were an option. This place is absolutely the worst place to take your vehicle, they will keep it way longer than they say your vehicle will be done and give you the run around and Rob will always have a family emergency with his mommy when it s time to go get your car and not be there, they will claim someone broke into your car and steal the radio/ stereo system (all though this seems to have happened to multiple people so I m sure it is them stealing it and selling it). They claimed that they would give money for the stolen items but then claim to not know you after basically 2 months of dealing with you almost everyday because they basically refused to give you your car back. NEVER GO TO THSI PLACE! IT IS LITERALLY BEYOND A NIGHTMARE!

They were nice over the phone and gave us a quote for the rebuild. That price was the same when we arrived there to drop of the car and the same when we picked it up. We were glad to find an upfront, honest mechanic. The car is running well with no problems so I can vouch for their work as well.

After getting the runaround for weeks with a remanufactured transmission I had bought online, I gave Central Transmission a call.The price I was given over the phone was the price I paid when I arrived and it was cheaper than I could find elsewhere in the area.When the transmission was missing a component needed for my 20+ year old car, I brought it in the next morning and they fixed it while I waited. I put it in and all looks good.Would recommend!

These guys went over and above rebuilding the transmission in my truck. 550 hp, lots of hard pulls, and not a single issue since I picked it up from them. Prompt turn around, within a few hours of the quoted pickup time. I would and have recommended these folks to anyone I know who have transmission issues. My transmission pan was dented during the install by another company, and they threw one in for a very reasonable price. Thanks again for all the hard work and effort guys!

Would highly recommend this place to anyone in need of transmission work.. couldn't be happier with my new transmission on my Tahoe.. excellent price, excellent work, excellent people!! Not very often does someone exceed my expectations but these guys did just that..even got my Tahoe back with a fresh wash and wax!!

My Scion started missing shift and was not picking up like it used to. When I brought it in, the guys here at Central were nice and started on my car right away. They came and told me a fair estimate and I agreed to the repairs. It actually turned out to be less than the original estimate because they had included the worst case scenario. The cost was very reasonable. My car runs great now and I will be back for anything else.

Wlow, I had major failure of my transmission after 2 years of heavy demand & high mileage use, and Rob repaired my transmission for free, honoring the warranty he had given without batting an eye! He found & fixed other important issues at the same time!

After 4 weeks I took my transmission somewhere else. They kept telling me they haven t worked on it or they will get me a parts list every time I called. It would change between those two reasons every time I called. I have no idea how their work is cause they never did any.Update- after 5.5 weeks I finally went to take my transmission back and they told me they had ordered parts a week ago and were waiting on a couple to show up. Well when I showed up I received a box of parts (not all of them) and was told the parts were impossible to find. I had taken in a fully together and operational transmission and received back a box full of parts... I immediately took my now box of parts to another shop and they told me that the parts were harder to find but could absolutely be found.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COST.

Went with my transmission throwing those lovely 'check engine lights'.Rob took it in and had his guys quickly troubleshoot the issue. I like that he is super cautious and pays attention to every detail to make sure he doesn't mis-diagnose and get it right the first time. A couple days later, the car was back in tip top shape and the wallet wasn't suffering as his rate was very good!I previously went to AAMCO in Renton and the same fix there would have cost at least twice!Will take my cars in for work at Central Transmission again!

There were a couple places I got estimates from, most of them telling me I should buy a new transmission. I was not going to do that because I didn t think the problem could be that serious. Central transmission had a great price and the person I dealt with was a pleasure to deal with. I was extremely happy with the services provided.

They stand by their work - have always made it right if something happens. We've had more transmission & differential work done here that I'd like to remember. It can be a challenge to get a hold of Rob, but it's worth the effort. They give an honest assessment of any issue and will stand by their work.

Thanks Rob, reasonable price, warranty and quick turn around, 2004 4x4 expedition, in Wednesday out on Friday. Wife happy, drove home, called me on road, to tell me, it feels good, Need transmission work, highly recommend them. Check them out.
