This place was recommended to us by TJ'S Tires when we needed an alignment.So we called them up and asked for a quote. We also asked a bigger name shop for a quote, and the bigger name shop was more expensive and couldn't get to us quickly, or serve us without a reservation.The shop is a little informal relative to other shops I've used, so there was that momentary confusion of who works here and who is a customer. The guy behind the counter just took my name and number on a sticky note before taking my keys. Which is unnerving when you are used to formal shops that have you sign something before you hand them the keys, but they served me super quickly.They had me sit in the waiting room and I think I was out of there about 30 minutes after I got there. My partner thought I hadn't gotten it done because it was so fast.A lot of shops are overcrowded and busy and can't get to customers cars in a timely manner, but this shop actually had available service bays left even when they were helping me. They were less costly than the competition. They served us sooner and faster.I guess I've gotta go with 5 stars:They came highly recommendedThey saved me moneyThey saw me sooner than their competitionThey gave me an accurate quote over the phoneAnd they competed my service in less time than it took another shop to quote me for tires.

Quoted over the phone less than in person. Even after I gave them the correct tire size. He doubled the price in person.I moved my work around to fit then in. Go somewhere else

They are not professional workers but only fresh and new workers. I did front brakes pads and drum replacement work on them after few days testing the car i feel disturbing while braking the car. I think they replaced my old own with the fake or another old staffs as it is not look like genuine product so be aware and don t go to this shop.Service: Brakes

AFTER MANY YEARS OF SERVICES AFTER TODAY IM OFFICIALLY DONE!! THE MANAGER/OWNER IS VERY DISRESPECTFUL!! I CALLED THEM TO GET A DIAGNOTIC!! THEY KEPT MY CAR FOR A HOUR TO LIE AND PUT SOME CODES ON A PAPER AND DIDN'T CHARGE ME NOT TELLING ME THEY NEVER DID A DIAGNOSTIC. WHEN I GOT THE CAR BACK THE MAN SAID HEY WE ARENT GONNA CHARGE YOU THERE ISNT NOTHING MAJOR GOING ON. I CALLED UP THERE TO SEE IF THEY REALLY DID IT THE MANAGER CALLS ME A LIAR OVER THE PHONE AND TELLS ME I NEVER GOT A DIAGNOSTIC DONE AND ITS NOT IN THE SYSTEM. I GO UP TO THE SHOP WITH THE PAPER I GOT AND HE TOLD ME BECAUSE THEY DIDNT CHARGE ME THEY NEVER DID THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THIS WAS A SITUATION OF DISHONESTY. I HAD TO PAY SOMEONE TO TELL ME WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY CAR AFTER THEY HAD IT TWICE FOR A TIMING BELT AND FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC. NOT ONCE DID THEY DO WHAT THEY WAS TOLD TO DO. I FELT BECAUSE I KNEW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT THE MANAGER FELT SOME TYPE OF WAY BECAUSE I WAS A WOMEN. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE. THEY ARE JUST LYING ABOUT SERVICES THEY ARENT DOING!! MY GRANDMA BEEN COMING HERE FOR YEARRRRS THEY HAVE WORKED ON MANY OF MY FAMILY CARS. GOERGE WE MISS YOU!! SINCE HE RETIRED THIS PLACE HAS BEEN A JOKE!!

I hate to do it but after today I will not be returning to Autotek. It seems that now that George has retired the business is going downhill. Thanks for all the great service I got from you guys in the past but that was just too much.

Best mechanic in town! I have been a customer for 6 years and my old cars run perfectly! Always fair prices and great work! Local, family business that takes pride in their work. They do not try to upsell services, just let you know what's going on and give you an accurate estimate. Job well done. Walked in on a Thursday to replace front control arms and tie rod ends I knew were bad. I provided the parts, discussed a price, and my car work was done within 2 hours.Car rides much smoother now. Could have done the work myself, but it would've been a wasted weekend and a lot of swearing. I don't have time for that anymore, well worth the price.

I've been going here for years and I don't trust anybody else! Very fair pricing and just great guys. George is amazing. He's very accommodating honest and has your best interested heart. Highly recommend this place.

6 yrs ago I moved to Kent and shortly thereafter had car trouble. The tow driver recommend the place and they have been our mechanic ever since.They are really trying to do a good job and will straight up tell you if another place can give you a better deal.Honest and knowledgeable. What else do you want from a mechanic?

The guys may be good and jovial but they are NOT not the best deal in town. At a labor rate of $118/hour and parts marked up 100% of market value you probably just wonna go to the dealership. If you know about cars you will quickly notice they exaggerate labor time on jobs. I once got quoted a job for $500 but it ended up costing me $309.00 elsewhere. Shop around my friends. Any shop charging over $100/hr in labor is a bad deal from start to finish. Most Shops average $80-95/hr

I had an appointment for an oil change. I had a coupon for the oil change. The coupon is for an oil change at 24.95. Of course my car takes synthetic, which costs more even after the coupon.Not remembering how much it cost and remembering that the last time it was more than expected, I asked for a price quote when I got there so I knew which card to use for payment. Some cards had more funds than others. And, even though I have been going here for years, I have never made it a point to remember the exact cost. It's just one of those things that pops up when it's time to get it done.Also, one time I had gone there maybe a year or two ago, I remembered being quoted one price and then later finding it was another. Either way, I just wanted to know which card to use so I wanted an exact price quote after tax and all. Making sure there was enough on the card I use. That's all.The guy helping me says, "I can get you that quote because I know you want to price check". I tried to explain I just needed to know how much it was so I knew which card to use. I had set up the appointment to get my oil change done there for a reason. Because I had gone there for years... He became almost dismissive of this acting as if I'm looking for a cheaper price. But...ok....I guess it's inappropriate to ask a business how much something costs?The guy helping me is the owner's son. He had helped me a couple times before, and of the owner's two sons, he is the least friendly. He has been been rude to me each time he has helped me. Of everyone who works the counter, he has always given me an attitude or otherwise been rude to me.At any rate, I did not come alone and was having conversations with more than him. Talking to who I was with, I mention that I had hoped the owner had been there. He knows us and is always super awesome. He is why we keep going back there. Very nice gentleman with an excellent business demeanor.We also had planned to get lunch. When we were told me it will be about 45 minutes I asked to use the bathroom and then my friend was in the waiting area so I asked him if he still wants to get lunch figuring it would be enough time to get something to eat and as we were leaving I mentioned to him that the shop looked empty and I hoped they wouldn't finish to fast because I had never seen them that empty. I said to him "I hope they don't finish to fast because they're probably gonna start working on the car immediately. And then we left.Just as we were outside in the parking lot walking away, heading to get some lunch, the guy working there comes outside and approaches me. He says "if you want to go somewhere else go there. You don't have to be rude. I heard what you said. You got a problem with our price go find somewhere cheaper!"I tried to explain to him I had no problem with the price and just needed the quote so I knew which card to use. He interrupts me and says, "you are being passive aggressive. You've been coming here for years! You know the price! I heard you complaining about how long it will take. What? You think we can do it in 15 minutes?"I tried to explain to him that the only reason the subject of how long it would take was being discussed is because we were going to get lunch. If anything, I would have been cool if it took longer than 45 minutes. More time to eat.But he wouldn't let me speak. Every time I opened my mouth to say something he began to yell over me and refused to listen. Even, a few times, suggesting he would just refuse to help me or seeming to demand that if I am unhappy I can take my business elsewhere. He even, several times, told me "I don't want to hear it" and "I don't care what you have to say" without ever allowing me to explain how wrong his interpretations of what was said were. It was as if he had created an entire scenario where I was some jerk whining about the price and time and he simply would not let me speak to the contrary because he was wrong.This was entirely unprofessional and, while the owner did apologize, I don't want to be treated that way.Service: Oil change

This really is an honest shop with good work. Yes, the buildings seen heavy use, but that's because they are a shop that does a lot of good work. Even had a lifetime alternator warranty repair recently that was NO issue. I called, brought the Santa Fe down and it was done. No complaints and no arguing. Really an honest place to get your car repaired.

Family owned business. George and Arie are amazing. I've been going here for years and have referred many friends and family. They provide good quality work at a fair price and won't nickle and dime you with unnecessary add ons. As a single woman, it's nice to feel like I'm being treated fairly and not taken advantage of. These guys are the best and I recommend them to everyone I know.

I have been bringing my cars to this shop for over 12 years. I'm always treated with respect, they explain what they see/think it's wrong, and always give me the option to say no to any service. They've even prioritized repairs so I could take care of the most urgent issues first, and then get to the other problems as I had the money. They always have coffee, magazines to read, and a TV to watch while you wait. George, Ari and Aaron are the best!

Excellent Place. I had my car serviced by Auto tek Kent and from my first meeting Mr. George , the owner to the final interaction of picking up and paying for services done , I experienced excellent service and it was apparent that this place knows their stuff. Great service, I know it was only a flat tire. The dealer had told me I needed to replace the tire and shave it or buy all 4 tire. The dealer claimed could not fix the tire because it was close to the sidewall. I saw this shop off of central and decided to stop, and I'm glad I did. I came in 45 minutes before closing shop, and he said he'd gladly take a look. 30 minutes later I was on my way happy as my tires still have 50% life on them. I'll come here again just for that.

My dad and I have been coming here for years! Excellent customer service, knowledgeable and fair. From new tires, to catalytic converters, to check engine lights, they have assisted and have done great work! Thank you George and the team at Autotek !!

George replaced my engine and warned me about a bad catalytic converter but I didn't listen. It was a real problem 5 days later and burned up my ignition wires. After those were fixed the truck is better than new. Time for a road trip! Thanks guys for a great job! I'll let you know more when I get back from Los Vegas

Had an oil change coupon for $26 for oil change and since I need synth oil he quoted me $7 per quart on oil then when I got there they said $8. He claims he said 7.95 on phone (he didn't). Even though I had an appt he still said it would take 2 hours for a simple oil change. Then I called him back while waiting and asked if he would do the tire rotation too and he mentions oh it'll be longer now because they had to go get special oil for my car even though he knew what it was before I even came in. Then I had to drag it out of him that he was planning on charging me extra for my "super rare oil" more than the $8 per quart which was more than the original quote already and now he's increasing it again. So he wants $85 plus tax for an oil change with a coupon lol so I said ok maybe just don't do the oil and only do the tire rotation and he told me he won't do it because I told him I didn't want to pay the extra for the oil change. Total BS waste of time. Way to treat new customers! Fool.Service: Oil change

George the owner does not know what he is doing. He does not communicate well with the mechanics. I took my car back three times for a leak he charged me something new each time. At the end he told me radiator needed fix immediately. He could have told me that the first time I went. But they only do half a job because they are too busy to pay attention and do the job correctly the first time. Also overpriced. They were charging more than Nissan service was charging me to replace the radiator.
