What a rip off. I already had the problem diagnosed. Just needed a battery and a multimeter. They took advantage of the situation because my wife called for road side service. They charged me 3 times for the service call. 2 shop hours to come out, then another service fee for mileage and 3rd for drive time. Service guy told me that its standard for shops to charge 3 times for service fees. Then the mechanic takes credit for my diag with 1.25hr shop fee. Total charged was $875 for them to bring me a battery and swap a fuse that was already on the truck. Will not be recommending this shop to fellow drivers. Will actually put this up on couple of the Facebook groups I'm apart of so drivers don't make the same mistake.

Greatest Regret Ever!! Took my truck in for suspension service. When I got home. There were loose nuts and bolts EVERYWHERE. please don't take your car into this shop. Not unless you wanna see your tire fly across the highway.

Had a brake master cylinder installed. Brakes work much better now.

Late in the afternoon on Saturday I started hearing a loud noise under my Escalade. There are few shops open on a Saturday. I gave this shop a call at 3 pm and Jay said to bring it by and they would take a look. They inspected my SUV and found the lower control arm on the front passenger wheel was missing it's locknut, had backed out, and the only thing keeping it from falling off was the CV axle it was hitting, resulting in the noise I heard ( see attached photo). Pretty dangerous situation...I could have lost the wheel on the road! Additionally they found that the other 3 control arm bolts were loose and they tightened them. I had new tires put on my SUV about 3 months ago and an alignment - wondering if tire shop loosened these during alignment and forgot to tighten. Regardless, a dangerous situation identified and fixed by crew at Mad Mechanics. The owner, Jay, was great to work with and took the time to explain the situation. I'm very fortunate they looked at my vehicle on short notice and fixed this risky situation. Great service!

I decide to try this company and have them work on my duramax, BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER, everything started out just fine, customer service was mediocre, thats not the issue here though. It seemed like they took a fancy to the truck because they then tried to buy it from me when i was being handed the bill (just shy of 11k). When I told them I didn't want to sell, they then denied me futher service and refused to finish their work. When I go to pick up my truck I can't even drive away in it, crank no start. So this past week, Finally had the money to take it into another shop to have them look at it, THEY SHOVED RAGS IN MY TURBO DOWNPIPE AND UP PIPE AND DRAINED MY TRANSMISSION FLUID. Talk about money down the drain, fire this staff and close this shop, ITS A SCAM!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto maintenance

PLACE IS HORRIBLE! Dropped off vehicle with no problems for routine 67,500 mile service. Front desk indicated they were familiar with service performed 2/3 of service with no idea of 3rd part of service needed. Called me and said when vehicle was brought in in the morning it was sputtering (not true) after 5 hours and an apology they informed me 3rd part of service (I alerted them to) would be $500 upon bringing vehicle back was told it would now be $900 (they're mistake) I refused that service, very unorganized, unprofessional, would not trust them to change my oil from here on out.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Decided to try this company for my diesel rigs as I have many, I m assuming based on the reviews other mechanics are on top of it! However, if you re dealing with Mike in the diesel department who seems to be inconvenienced that he has to work on rigs or maybe he feels he is irreplaceable not sure what it is. He seems to just throw your truck back together and hope for the best because we made the mistake of taking it twice and lost big. He doesn t recommend anything or inspect anything further than what you take it in for. Why not Inspect a vehicle while you have it apart? I know so you can keep coming back to him and charge you labor for tear down.Service: Engine repair

Wasn't impressed much with experience. Presented vehicle with list of concerns. Picked it up and realized concern hadn't been resolved. Brought vehicle back and listened to what was explained as fixed. The bill and the work didn't exactly reconcile, with the main concern and reason for being brought in still unresolved. Saving grace was the fact the owner reached out after the concerns were brought to another employees attention. Overall low marks for the charge/"repair" ratio and attempt to explain off why it was handled this way.

The best mechanic shop I ever been to for my kenworth semi truck. Very polite, professional, and speedy, because speed matters for us truck drivers. I was under a load and was in and out of the shop in a professional and timely matter. I was able to make my appointment for delivery. Thank you guys

I broke down on a road trip to Portland and had my car towed here and was super impressed with how well they took care of me. They diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in under an hour, and then I was back on the road. The customer service was incredible and they really care about their customers. I can honestly say this was the best mechanic shop I've ever been to. I wish they had a shop in Utah where I live! If you're looking for an honest, good mechanic that will treat you right, this is the place to go to!

Although I did not end up requiring their services, they were very forthcoming and willing to help me out when I was in the market for a used car, I wanted a private inspection done before I purchased the car. Pat explained everything that they would do as well as pricing, which was newly $80 cheaper than a few other places that I had called that didnt have openings through the weekend. Pat was super helpful and I wish I could have given him my business, but I will go here if I find another car in the future for private inspection or other needs.

Bad Experience, close to $800 worth:Had my 04 Cadillac deville towed to their facility for dead battery. Ask them to also check my brakes.1. $57.50 to inspect brakes2. $144 install alternator belt3. $184 for the battery4. $ 104 to install battery, 10 min job.5. $ 230 2 hr trace draw on battery.All total: $388 + 394= $782 !Rip Off!! Will not return!! Spoke to Jay (the owner) no change in charges.

After months with leak problems with my turbos on my 2013 ford f-150 ecoboost and constantly going to the Ford Dealership were they quoted me $5,000 to replace my two turbos saying my turbos were no good, I decided to look else where and that's when I found "Mad Mechanics" in kennewick. I'll admit when I got my quote from Mike I was happy and shocked at the difference from 5k to $1,800 amazing. I wasn't until further inspection from the Mad Mechanics crew that I found out that my turbos were fine it was a couple fittings and a couple bad hoses that were causing the problem, leaving my bill at $1,502.00 :-))) HONESTY PPL HONESTY!!! you don't get that everyday, so to all those at Mad Mechanics THANK YOU VERY MUCH when it comes to mechanic work you are my GO TO.

Was traveling through Washington to Alaska when my transmission went out. Mad mechanics went all out with customer service and dealing with setbacks, might be a slight communication error though because I talked to a person on the phone and they said it would be done a certain day but it was when the part got in, not a huge deal. Adam was super helpful with additional information on the transmission as well and answered all my questions, very knowledgeable man. Overall I appreciated everything they did for me, what a great shop!

I have a landscape maintenance company and our plow snapped during the snow storm Monday. I had no clue who to contact and found Mad Mechanics. I gave them a call, dropped off my truck, and next thing my plow was fixed. They are a business that truly cares about you. They went above and beyond to help me out and get our truck back to business. Thank you Jay and the rest of the company, you guys are awesome!

Took our semi in for a exhaust manifold leaf, I respect a shop that wants to actually look at a job then to give a bid that is way off. They are working our truck in while we are in town.

First of all, allow me to say just how impressed I am with the level of service and the professionalism Mad Mechanics showed my family and I.Growing up in a mechanic family (I myself am not mechanically inclined) we were never short on horror stories of how dishonest and untrustworthy mechanic shops could be. Mad Mechanics is hands down, the greatest mechanic shop I have ever been to. Jay is an incredible owner, he not only does the work he says he'll do, he does it on time and he does it the right way the first time; he also doesn't over charge.That last part is particularly important in today's greedy culture. These guys do what needs to be done to ensure your ride is up to snuff, and they charge you the right amount for all of it.If you need work done, go here. This is going to be my Mechanic Guy. Like Tim Taylor from Home Improvement would say, "Lemme get a hold of my Mechanic Guy."Go here. Check them out before you go anywhere else; you'll be glad you did.

Nice friendly guys, but unfortunately not very competent. My friend had to bring her diesel school bus back time and again for the same problems. Now, thousands of dollars later, her bus does not run. We will be finding another shop to give our business to. Very disappointing.

Absolutely amazing service! The actual price went above my limit so they paid for the additional parts OUT OF THEIR OWN POCKET. I am so incredibly blown away by these amazing mechanics and their expertise! I think they're incredible!!

When my transition blew they did the work to see if they could fix it.... when learning it would be more work than the cars worth the reduced the price, and were patient with how long it took me to get it off site, since I am out of state.

Dead battery? Mad Mechs responded immediately. Mobile unit came to the job site. Equipment back in service within the hour. Corporate accounts available. Good job!

The only shop in town that could look at our explorer on the spot! They looked around and let us know it was safe for us to drive back to moses lake and didn't charge us for anything. Thank you!

The crew here is great. They go the extra mile to help diagnose and fix the problem at hand. They are all friendly and offer advice. They are honest and fair. I will keep going to them for as long as I'm in the tri-cities.
