When my most excellent mechanic told me I needed to replace the tires on my 2007 Honda CRV, he assured me I didn't need to buy new tires but that I did need to buy good used tires, and he referred me to Dan at Tire Exchange. I called Dan and did some preliminary research over the phone, and based on that, I told him I'd be in later that day, and based on that, upon my arrival Dan had a couple of tire options for me to consider, the absolutely best of which was a set of 4 nearly new Bridgestones that were just a tiny bit larger than the worn out tires I was replacing.Without knowing for certain that I'd even show up, without knowing that I'd need to run this different size thing by my mechanic, as soon as I arrived, Dan assured me that the slightly larger tire size wouldn't be a problem and because he didn't expect me to take his word for it, he had 3 browser tabs open on his front desk computer screen showing that pretty much everyone in the world agrees with him that it's not a problem to use this slightly larger tire size. When I called my mechanic, whose good will I cannot afford to lose, and told him about the tire size thing, because I could text him the screenshots of the research Dan had already done, my mechanic was 100% impressed by Dan's thoroughness and he knew the Bridgestones would be perfect. Even though we didn't need to, we performed a test to make sure, at maximum turn, there was plenty of margin in the wheel well, and there is. Dan's research and that max turn trial "reversed the risk" as it's called in Sales, but that's not why Dan did it, he did it because he wants to make absolutely certain that his customers receive every possible assurance of the value of his recommendations.Also.Here's everything you need to know about Tire Exchange; it's the person, not the place, and Dan is an extraordinary resource for anyone who needs help with tires. I know nearly nothing about tires, and yet he explained everything to me without being frustrated, without rushing, and I especially love how he taught me the "every possibility" kind of value of these nearly new tires - they count as a traction device so I don't need to chain up, they're excellent on snow and ice, he created side-by-side comparisons of their tread pattern to other tires to help me understand how the Bridgestones move water more efficiently and effective, and the most amazing thing of all is he said it in a way that someone who has never considered such things, completely understood such things. In this way, what you're getting with Dan is a master class in tire technology, delivered with zero attitude, with the distillation of his many years of experience, refined and edited down to your specific needs. That's priceless.Everything about working with Dan is a reflection of his excellence, consideration and care beyond the sale. Every aspect of this experience was excellent, because Dan is excellent.

Used to come here all the time, before it closed. Started coming back here once I saw it was open again. Dan has helped me twice and each time it is a great and fast service. Would highly recommend over any other tire shops. (He's the only one in the shop so sometimes it does get busy but he definitely needs the business)

I was told 10 mins from the shop that my tire could explode at a high speed due to its shape. Luckily I found Dan, who is great. He helped me and my kids get back on the road safely without emptying my pocketbook. Thank you for your help.

It was a Saturday and I needed 3 used tires for my parents car, someone told me that the tire exchange was open again. So I went in and Dan helped me, I said I needed 3 used tires and after he pulled the car in, he told me that I only needed 2 tires. I was kinda surprised because now a days you don't expect that honesty. Usually companies want as much money as possible from you. He ended up staying about 20 min past his closing time to get it done he is the only person there, so I very much appreciated the service I received from Dan. I will definitely be back.

Dan was very helpful with assisting me I had a nail in my trailer tire with a heavy load of rock i pulled my truck into the tire exchange and within a minute Dan came out to help me he Took off my tire remove the nail just to find out it wasn t leaking any air. He didn t try to charge me. He filled all of my tires with the Right amount of air and told me to have a great day I would highly recommend the exchange.

Dan was very helpful accommodating me in getting my tyres installed. As a professional mechanic, I can tell you he is very skilled in his workmanship and takes care of all sorts of small details during the tyre mounting/balancing operation. His charge for these services was very fair and less than what most big chain tyre shops. I will not hesitate to use him again.

Very well recommend this place! This is my second time here and the first time was great but this time I'm very well pleased and appreciated by these guys! He worked with my budget. Going in thinking I only needed one tire then realizing I needed two! I could tell in the guys face He didn't wanna send me away with the unsafe tires. This place is where I'll always go to and always recommend. This place is cheaper than other even before the deal he gave me! Need new or used tires come here!!

I went to a couple other tire shops in the area, the other places did not have my tires, but I came here and job was done efficient and well! Gave me a very respectable deal at which the price was way better here than anywhere else! Definitely a well-managed business

The manager is super nice. She went out of her way to get the correct tires for my trailer and all with a very pleasant attitude. This location seems to have a more friendly and better trained staff in their tire dept. And that is a good testimat to her being a top notch manager.

Quick, easy, reliable. I think I did pretty good here and happy about my visit. I almost left my spare. Glad I went back. Not the most personable place but know what they are doing and do good and it is affordable most of all. Thank you Ron! I will be back soon enough!

Tire Exchange was fantastic. They had me in and out under 30 minutes for 2 tires, and were very courteous and accommodating. They saved me hundreds of dollars, and I will always go to them for tires from now on. They were so nice and I got an even better deal when I came in than what they quoted me for. Goodbye Les Schwab! Good riddance!

My 2013 Honda Accord had a flat tired caused by a piece of metal that puntured it. I took it into the dealership since I am under a "free tires for life warranty" and was told that I did not qualify since it was a road hazard not normal wear & tear that they could not fix my tire because the hole was larger than a pencil point. They told it would cost $101 for a new tire. I had them put my spare on and decided to take my tire over to Tire Exchange since they have always had the best prices and service in town. I was quoted $35 for a tire over the phone. When I arrived there an employee named Dirk offered to take a look and test my flat tire to see if I could be fixed to save me from having to spend the $35. My tire turned out to be salvageable so he patched, balanced, and put my tire on for me. My decision to go to Tire Exchange saved me over $100. Tire Exchange is very honest, friendly and professional! I highly recommend them because they have the best tire prices in town and they are the tire professionals!

I do business with this place quite often. The owner is a kind person and the workers are helpful. In th past when I've had tire(s) that needed air, I would just pull up and tell them what it needed and they would check the air for all four tires at no cost. To get flat tire patched, is very reasonable, especially if you are an existing customer. If they don't have your tire size they can get it for you and accommodate your needs. Just ask!

This guy beat everyone else's customer service and price. I will never spend another dollar at the big tire shops ever again. This is a business and owner that has earned my word of mouth and business for as long as I live in the area , 10 stars!! Bravo!

These guys are amazing! They have my business for life now. I had a flat tire and they patched it quickly with fantastic customer service. I have always used big tire chains but the customer service here is better than I have ever experienced.

Needed a used tire, to replace one that kept going flat for a truck that's being restored. They were all very professional and fast. Quoted me a price on a tire one day and honored the agreement a couple of days later. They even remembered who I was and what our deal was.... I will be going back soon.

I just left Tire Exchange and could not be more grateful for the service provided. I got a flat tire on my moving truck and the man who works there was a life saver! He was quick, helpful, and kind! I will definitely will be going back to Tire exchange in the future.

I will be driving down from Tacoma for all my tire needs from now on. I had a shredded tire and a holr in another, remedied in 15 minutes, if even. All before they'd even officially opened. So friendly and great vibes!! Thanks so much for the positive experience!

Tire shopped every place in Cowlitz. Best prices in County. Walked in and asked about tires for my RAV. within 30 min I had 4 on my car. Drove off happy and only spent half my actual budget.Second time they've come through with quality.

Fast, friendly service. They'll tell you and show you exactly what's wrong with your tires, and you'll get everything at a reasonable price. Never gone there until today, and no regrets going. Highly recommend them for anyone who needs new tires.

I went in for a set of used snow tires and while installing them the owner noticed that there was a little damage to them. He showed me the damage and gave me a better set at the same price. I was very happy with the trasaction and I will be back.Parking is a little tight but its wourth finding a space as you can get snow tires at half the price of new one and youll only use them for 2 months a year anyway.

They Repaired our rim and then sold us another one and two very good tires including mount and balancing them, for a More Than Reasonable Price. My family has been in the mechanical business for over 50years and from the very First time they did business with Tire Exchange, they've reccomended Tire Exchange to everyone who needs inexpensive tires and or rims...

Not happy with this place because he waited on a customer that came after me. I could have gone to Les Schwab and had it done for free. As it was it was a long wait and cost me $15.00. I didn't go to Les Schwab because I want to support small, local businesses.

Great shop but alot of we don't do that here like brakes couldn't even get a through assessment of brakes. However some of the best pricing in town. Had an employee say he didn't do flat repairs......what a tire shop that's not full service

Easily the best used tire shop. They won't waste your time and all at the best price around. Rudy helped me with a shredded tire a flat in 10 minutes an HOUR before they opened! Worth the 2 hour drive.

I would most certainly reccomend. They have fast and great service and inexpensive. I only paid 190 for a full set of tires nearly brand new and they always help if anything goes wrong.
