Very awesome store. The service staff is polite, courteous and knowledgeable... The store is amazingly clean... I thoroughly enjoy shopping here.. it's a good experience every time...

It s advertised that they do free check Engine light checks. I waited my turn in a line and was told they wouldn't check the code that doesn't even take 5 minutes to check because they were busy after I waited my turn in line.

Had the part I needed, called it in early, when I went to pick it up what a cluster. One guy behind the counter, line of shady people out the door, cashiers talking about their periods between the two of them while ignoring the customers waiting to check out. I guess if you want entertainment, go there. Yikes.

The store has been going downhill ever since they got bought out. The checkout process is much longer than it needs to be when coming in for simple items. As for bigger parts, nearly all of the experienced counter people they had have left and some of the people working the counter now are seriously lacking in automotive knowledge. Getting the wrong parts is a common occurance now. Good luck trying to get this place on the phone as you are on hold 10-15+ minutes if they even answer. The prices used to be good but now are not much better than the competitors and I am finding less reasons to drive over here now. AND PLEASE STOP THE RADIO ADS THAT STILL SAY YOU ARE LOCALLY OWNED WHEN YOUR NEW OWNERS ARE IN NEW YORK!!!!UPDATE 3/16/24I gave this place another shot as a last resort when nobody else had what I needed, and remembered why I called this place last. I was on hold 20 minutes and at one point somebody answered the phone as if I was just calling in with no appology or explanation why on hold so long. At that point I told the guy I was on hold 10 minutes and he just said they were busy and put me back on hold before I could say anything.While on hold I pulled up Rock Auto and found my part, then the phone rang back three more times and whoever picked up hung up on me the third time. At that point I just decided to go through with ordering online, I have had enough of the lack of respect for people calling in, and the fact that you can't order anything online because most things say "call for availability"

I have never had any problems with this store. The employees have always been very friendly and helpful when needed.Yes, prices went up some but what store hasn't in the last 2 yrs?This is a great store and if they don't have a part you need, they will call a nearby auto store to see if they have it in stock.Super Cool store and employees!

I would like to share my rather unpleasant experience this passed Saturday, a shorter older man with balding and glasses on a string was nearly refusing to help the Hispanic guy in from of me because he could not understand him and told to go to a different parts store for help, when it came my turn to get help I explained to him the part I needed and he said I don t copy as I say I need a coil pack, there was a video of some sort playing in his computer and he was paying more attention to that then me when I was right in front of him and asked me 3 times what I needed yet again witch simply was a coil pack for a Toyota. I hate to give this place this review but I am very unhappy with the way he acted towards me and the Hispanic gentleman before me, I will taking my business elsewhere and no longer recommend you guys. Yes, you are a lot cheaper on most parts but it s not worth waiting to be talked to like you are stupid and have them not do there job and focus on the computer video then helping the customer right in front him. Thank you for your passed help and service, I hope you the rest of the guys do very well!

Gave the Kelso branch a call getting a price on a part at roughly 12:07 pm and was put on hold. Which I didn t have no problem doing until the phone was picked up by some snot nosed baby BOiii! Acted completely put out from the instant he picked up.. was rude and short with me and seemed to brighten up when the part wasn t in stock or was able to be ordered I normally don t post reviews but that for some reason that was non professional and kids like him should not be allowed to answer the phone Until his customer skills improve, and had the stick taken outa you know where

I end up here to buy parts at least a couple times a week. Staff are always helpful and friendly. I have never been given a incorrect part and the prices are great. Also they can do a battery and altanator check instead of driving all the way to United.

Cost less?More like cost more auto parts Every item in that store has increased drastically since last December when they changed ownership. I was a huge supporter of the store for 5+ years until part s authority took possession of the store.They ve lost every person in the store with any sort of first hand knowledge and experience due to upper management and the corporation pushing old employees out of the door They want to under pay and expect superhuman results. Friends that use to work there left to make less but are much more happy.You ask one person for a simple wiper install and you re waiting for 25 mins to get out of the large lines created by the super amazing computer systems they downgraded too.Once you get outside you find out you have to spend more because the person behind the counter doesn t know how to properly look up the size of your wipers or the type of connector needed.Once I went through 2 Delphi AGM batteries in a week. Went to a competitor and haven t had one issue with the battery.You have better luck going to a junk yard and getting recycled batteries. I do not recommend this store.AutoZone and O Reillys has my full support from now on.I do hope the store pulls it together. It s not good for business or the remaining of the old staff. Thank you.

To the Public..For a long time I have been spending allot of my money , easily over $10.000.00dollers and since such a small town, not much choice in the matter. Would have to is the worst company/customer service skills I had ever seen in my life DONOT give this place your money the sale broken parts and cashier are real rude. You be better of to use DUCK TAPE.Sincerely consumer beware

Excellent service! Husband broke down driving from Oregon to Tacoma WA. It was small part, but they had it . Got him back on the road in under 30min. Totally saved the day! Very nice and knowledgeable customer service. Highly recommend!

Cost Less has been SOLD & after being a completely happy customer for more than 20yrs... The last 2 times I tried to purchase parts -not even close to the same experience. I hope they work the bugs out quickly. I actually ordered my parts online while at the counter today -as they were trying to figure out if they could even order same parts in a package.(sad face)

Good cheap parts, but staff is totally hit or miss. I've had pleasant experiences dealing with them over the phone, only to receive none of the charm or customer service in person. Frequently they seem abrasive or completely lack interest in their job/customer service. It's not my fault you're working retail!I always leave feeling like my business wasn't appreciated, or that I've somehow inconvenienced them for coming in.But the prices and inventory selection seem pretty good, so I guess there's always a trade off.

I gave this place a 4 star review awhile back. It has changed a lot since then. Went there with my brother and got help from "Andy" he was probably the most knowledgeable autoparts person I have met in the 100+ auto part salesmen I have ran into in my life. Can't recommend him enough. Check out went smooth as well. Didn't catch that gals name but she was extremely nice. Cared about customer privacy as well which is always bonus.My brother was able to pay with Apple pay. Seems like they have a pretty good return policy as well. This place has come a long way. I strongly recommend this place if you need assistance and/or need affordable autoparts.

I love this store and it's become one of my go-to stores when I'm in need of something for either of my cars. Very up front and honest with great prices, and have to say Stacie is the best, always friendly and helpful, just like a good neighbor. Went in to get a gift card for a family birthday gift and the staff behind the counter couldn't stop complaining about the process for purchasing a gift card being so slow. We understand the frustration but we weren't in a hurry and the clerks constant complaint about the slow credit card machine made me want to leave the store as fast as possible. That being said it was my first and only experience at cost less but the store looked like it was well cared for. Shelves were stocked and organized, clean in and outside

The name says it all because the prices are the lowest I can find. They have a huge inventory and always seem to have everything I've needed on hand. The employees are also by far the best! Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Great customer service paired with quality merchandise at the lowest prices around make it a no brainier. I highly recommend cost less auto parts!!!!!!!

I went there to get the car manual that I had ordered. They got it for me with no delivery fee on time. They've got a knowledgeable staff that seems to know what they're doing most of the time. I was in and out of there in minutes and back with my day without breaking the bank.

Great customer service, very knowledgeable staff. When entering the building I was told to pick a number and as soon as I did mine was called. I needed a car battery and the gentleman who helped me not only told me where it was in the isle but he also went and got it taking it to the cashier for me. Definitely *Cost Less* Auto parts my purchase was $15 cheaper than the most competitive store about 2 miles away. I am definitely shopping here next time my car breaks down.

New takeover couldn't have gone worse. Your new system slows down your employees and its not their fault. Cashier now has an extra 5-10 steps just to get you checked out, the amount of slips that have to be printed is uncalled for, the layout of the new slips has no prices or anything intelligent printed on it, and the amount of extra paper needed is also uncalled for. My once 5-10 minute trip to cost less is now 20-30 minutes and I don't have the extra time for it.... maybe look into efficiency, the old system was better for me as a customer.

I love this place. It has great prices and selection of auto parts, supplies, and other auto related items. It has the best selection of motor oils and other lubricants that I've ever seen. It's a good store and a fun place to shop.
