What would you like to know about Mule Expedition Outfitters? I researched many different vendors when I wanted to put an AluCab on my Jeep Gladiator. They are professional, knowledgeable, friendly and most important honest. They won't work on the vehicle just to sell you something. They have helped me build my Jeep to run correctly and the work they do is impeccable and meticulous. Thor at the Tualatin store has been my go to for everything on my build. I have driven 10 hours each way several times to have the work done that I needed to fit my schedule. To say I think they do a great job would be an understatement. You won't go wrong from buying a small part to having the entire rig built with Mule Expedition Outfitters. But don't wait they are busy and the longer you wait the longer it will take for you to do that trip of a lifetime in a vehicle that they will build for you.

Vey happy with my Four Wheel Camper purchase through Mule Expedition Outfitters in Tualatin, OR. Rob Quan did a great job taking my order in May and ensured all of my questions were answered in preparation for delivery yesterday. I drove 6 hours for the pickup/installation and he made sure everything went smoothly. Will definitely be going back to this company for future overland equipment purchases!!

We went there a while back and had multiple problems with their work after multiple trips I was told the problem was solved a few weeks later i found that it was not. I fixed it my self because I was done with them and their lack of Communication and professionalism. I was working with the sale Associate and he was very condescending after he realized he couldn t solve my problems that they caused and we were dismissed. The more people I talk to in the industry tell me this is a common theme with mule.We will never go back.3/21/24After posting this I got a email and spoke to Johnny he was Extremely apologetic about my situation and expressed that they are making major changes to get back to their roots. He and the owner decided to make things right with us we appreciate what they did and I have to take back that I will never go back.

My experience with Mule and their staff was awesome! They ordered my Sherpa Rack and Crows nest and got me scheduled right away for install!! Their store allowed me to work from their location remotely which was a plus considering I live really far from them. They also have a showroom which allows you to see a lot of the gear for trucks and camping in hand. Thank you guys for the service!

So many positive things to say about Mule, specifically this location Oregon. I had a pretty large build that took months of planning. All the staff Thor in particular was patient, communicative, and great at answering all questions. And while it can be intimidating to go into a shop like this, everyone was super welcoming and easy to talk to.I've had interactions with both the Oregon and Washington locations now. And even though Washington one is much closer to me, I find the team down in Oregon is better at all those things I listed, so I'd drive out of my way to bring my truck to them.

These folks need better sales associates.. every time me or my partner have wanted to purchase something we spoke with Dyllon who, always was condescending, seemed annoyed we would ask questions & couldn't be bothered to help us. We ended up ordering a bunch of Frontrunner gear (full size rack, Pro table, mounts etc) elsewhere due to that guy's attitude. I'm all about supporting small businesses but every time we have been there/called in we had a very unpleasant employee to deal with. Saw the guy on YouTube today and apparently they reward bad behavior as they sent him on a company trip to the Rubicon. Will be avoiding this place in the future I think until they get better / more friendly staff, there's plenty of places to order gear/get things installed from these days, if you want to stay in business you should really treat the people supporting you with more respect.

Got my suspension done here, Old Man Emu. Josh answered all my questions and helped with consultation as well. The store itself is pretty cool. Lots of gear to check out!

This Shop only does the products that are going to be best for your RIG! No short cuts, and the passion from the staff demonstrates that. They also did great work on my Brother inlaws Camper Flat Bed , on the Tundra, at their Oregon Location.

If you're even thinking about getting your truck, SUV, or Jeep modified, I wouldn't hesitate to stop by Mule's Issaquah show room or give them a call. The entire crew is highly experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly. It doesn't matter how big or small your project is, they'll work to ensure the build is done right. If on the off chance you're not completely satisfied, they'll do their best to make it right.

I went to MULE Expedition Outfitters for full OME BP-51 suspension upgrade, SPC UCA, Nitro 5.29 gears, Alu-Cab canopy and couple realignments in the span of a year and half. Each time I've visited Mule for sales inquiries, I was met by Dyllon who's unwelcoming and always had a pretentious attitude as if I was a burden or a waste of his time. Dyllon had no interest in showcasing the products nor going over their key features.I recently had two SPC ball joints blowout and contacted Specialty Products Company since they're still under warrantee. I explained the conditions of the ball joints and SPC customer service confirmed it was an installation error. I contacted Mule and once again had the pleasure of talking to Dyllon who made zero efforts in assisting me.I want to continue business as the shop techs does solid work, however; after multiple bad experiences with front of house I will no longer support.

Working with MULE to outfit my vehicle has been an amazignly educational and pain free experience. Their staff is friendy, knowegable and totally willing to talk to you for 40 min about lights and future projects despite having already worked with two other customers for close to an hour!Their actual shop is top notch as well. They've got you covered for literally anything from the ground (Tire/wheel/suspinsion) up (Accessories and custom eletric work).Wouldn't trust my rig with any other shop in the greater Seattle area.

I was in the market for a lift for my Jeep. Marc had plenty of good advice for my YJ. Prices were competitive and the customer service was excellent. I was able to get what I needed and expect that I also gained a good source to reach out to when the inevitable questions pop up.Thanks for a great experience!

Nice knowledgeable folks, I got a lift, wheels and tires for my 4runner done. They clearly work on a lot of Toyotas and know the ins and outs on BMC, trimming fenders, offset, etc. to make things fit.

Took my truck in for an alignment after my lift and it definitely drives how it should. Everyone was knowledgeable and each employee has a specialty. They had all the answers to my questions. They have a lot in their showroom/store and I was happy to find some things I know I'll need later. It's great to have a shop like them around.

Very friendly staff and they have everything I could want. Man, it's a candy shop for people like me. A must to check out if you are into Overlanding, off road, car camping, etc. Give them a look. Highly recommended.

The install center was incredible! Awesome people and they did impeccable work. I had a 4wheel camper installed and electrical run. Couldn t be happier. The reason for my lower rating is the staff that works the storefront. They border on unfriendly. I ve been twice now and I wasn t addressed with a hello or offered help of any kind. The three guys stood around speaking quietly to themselves. I thought it was a fluke, but the 2nd time in was the same.It s a shame because the selection is great and the install work is excellent, but I will not be buying anything through the store because I really felt the staff couldn t have cared less that a customer walked in. I am their target market too.All well. Get install work. Avoid the store.

They hooked it up on my gear and locker install! Best price I could find in the area and communication was excellent.Edit: just thought I d come back and update my review. Two years and 20k mikes on my gears. Absolutely 0 issues. Perfection!

Update: This tent or probably any other platform tent does not do well in sustained winds of 20mph or gust of 40 or higher. It results in a constant buffeting, lots of noise, and rocking of the vehicle. This happens even when the truck is parked into the direction of the wind. I am worried about how the tent construction and gas strut hinges will hold up.My new favorite store in the Seattle area! They have everything a person needs for overlanding or camping in regular campgrounds. Customer service is excellent and the staff very helpful. I can not wait to keep accessorizing my vehicle here. So happy to have my Alu Cab 3.1 platform tent installed. For video go to YouTube channel "RV and Truck Travel". Hope to use it soon!

I placed an order for an ARB 2000 Awning earlier this summer. Mule was one of the only sellers in the USA to have the product in stock. When it arrived with shipping damage (UPS) to the mounting rail, they promptly sent me a new awning without question. They also told me to keep using the original awning until my new one arrived. Quick shipping, super fast support. Will be sure to use them in the future.

Cool place and plenty of in stock parts. I purchased a alu-cab canopy for my 3rd gen Tacoma. Picked it up and installed it with the help of a friend in the parking lot. There were no guides or instructions . We installed it and I was happy. A few weeks go by and one of the seals cracks. I contacted several people at mule and they reached out to their vendor who they purchase alu-cab products through. They informed me that it cannot be warranted and fixed due to the fact "mule didn't install it" . I was also informed that the extra seal/flap in question that failed was supposed to be trimmed back. So 3400+ later, they refused to warranty it. I think that they should inform their customers prior to taking delivery of any canopy's that this must be done. There were no warnings, disclosure to me. How was I to know this? They agreed to purchase the warranty parts but they would not install them. 7 months later still no parts, no phone calls no emails or updates. The way business is done here is wishy washy. I have spent over 5k with mule on other parts in the past but never had any issues until now. Take your hard earned money and spend it somewhere else.

Fantastic Place!Dana, Jon and everyone that works there is super friendly and they are clearly knowledgeable. They helped me buy and install a winch, a hidden winch mount & lights. The store itself packs a lot of quality camping, overland & off-road gear.My go to place for anything for off-road related.============================Initial Review: I removed it because it was no longer accurate or relevant

They price matched some springs which was awesome. But now that I have problems with the springs themselves, they instructed me to contact ARB directly, because, "they would just be the middleman."In my experience, the only reason to shop locally is to get support when things aren't working properly, and being the middleman is the benefit of a brick and mortar store existing. Since local support isn't there, I suppose I'll start looking elsewhere for my parts.

This place is a little expensive in my opinion. The staff is absolutely wonderful when it comes to imparting knowledge. They are an amazing help and great people to brainstorm off of or with any time you're wanting to make an off-road mod to your vehicle highly recommend them.
