My young adult daughter has used Morgan Motors since moving back to the Issaquah area on her own two years ago. We live several states away and thought it was a safe bet to have her go here as they came recommended as a trustworthy mechanic from local friends. Her first experiences were all positive. She s been coming for regular oil changes, and to have her car checked out for needed maintenance, even making the drive back now that she lives further away.Today however, she brought her car in to have the brakes checked and was told she needs $1600 in brake repairs. She was told that whoever last did her brakes had ruined her calipers, and that she had a caliper dragging. This is a high bill, especially for a young person living on their own, so she took it to a another mechanic in Auburn that her uncle has used for years for another set of eyes on the issue. His diagnosis: 90% wear left on the pads, nothing needed, no caliper issues. Yes, a little rust causing the squeak that prompted her to have them checked out, but that is all. That s quite a discrepancy.She did say it was someone different at Morgan s service desk than she has dealt with in the past.

Truly awesomely me place; low pressure, super quick, professional, and punctual. Got an oil change waited in the lobby on an awesome leather couch, with a clean friendly dog. Very quick, exactly what I was hoping. Strikes me as a family business and couldn t be happier to give them mine!

I brought my 2015 Chevrolet Sonic to Morgan Motors in March to diagnose a persistent coolant leak after having an awful experience at an auto shop in the Renton Highlands. As a lady who knows some but not a lot about cars, I could tell the previous place was trying to set me up and was feeling very upset about the entire situation.I work nearby and was recommended to go to Morgan Motors by my coworker and two of my patients.I emailed to make an appointment and explain my situation and they were able to get me in within a week, with a loaner, and were attentive to the preliminary diagnostic information & history I provided for them. I dropped my car off around 8:15am and received a call back about an hour and a half later not only with a confident diagnosis based on data, but also an explanation of how the problem was creating a persistent coolant leak. They took the time to research and educate me on the options and intricacies of what the repair would entail and prices for each step. They answered all of my questions with the honesty and expertise I was looking for, and invited me to reach back out to them without pressuring me to make any decisions.Their prices and ethics are glowing for the top-tier service and knowledge they provide. Their loaner policy is fair, and they've got a nice dog who hangs out at the shop.Even though I didn't go through with the repairs, Morgan Motors has earned a forever customer and I wish them the most success.

It is not always easy finding a reliable auto repair shop that treats you fairly, especially as a woman. But I've never had anything but a positive experience at Morgan Motors. They were friendly and understanding when I called them in a panic because I thought I busted something hitting a curb. And they changed my DC outlet during another service at minimal additional charge (when other repair places quoted me $200-$300).They are priced fairly, honest, and transparent about what your vehicle needs. They've got a customer for life from me.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

We have been using Morgan Motors for decades with various cars, before the recent change in ownership. Despite them remaining a technically competent shop, I am not sure we will be going back.My most recent visit was for a dashboard warning about an engine issue. On the plus side, the shop did repair my car competently, and it's running fine now. The billing was also fair and well explained.On the minus side, this is the second time in two visits that the customer service has been lacking, borderline rude; we were made to feel like a major inconvenience, as if it was our fault we were literally stranded as we struggled to arrange a ride home. Previously, a car that had died unexpectedly in traffic and had to be towed in was actually turned away because the shop owner didn't want to deal with it. (It had to be towed to another mechanic.)While I have no complaints with my actual repair, I expect at least basic courtesy, and not to be made to feel like my business is an imposition. This isn't the shop it used to be.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My experience with Morgan Motors was so easy and genuine from start to finish. My 2011 Honda Accord was making a strange noise and when I showed it to Andrew, the mechanic, he immediately gave me a knowledgable breakdown of what was going on in my engine. They were extremely efficient, transparent and price conscious which I highly appreciated especially during these hard economic times. A very kind gentlemen at the front desk laid out multiple pricing options and explained the pros and cons to each and had the work all complete within 6 hours. The mechanic also went out of his way to pick up a part off-site. The cost was extremely fair, the staff very knowledgeable and welcoming, and they saved me from some major future repairs being needed. My car runs like a top. Definitely recommending Morgan Motors to my friends and family.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

Ken and his team took care of a complicated repair and did a great job. There were problems to solve, and they got it done. I loved the level of communication and their professionalism. May not be the lowest price shop, but solid work.

I took my car in for routine servicing earlier this year. They do warrant servicing for certain vehicles which I needed to get done ( the dealership would not even return calls or emails). They do good work and have a friendly staff.

I ve been going to Morgan Motors for over 20 years. They ve always been great at diagnosing any problems and repairing them on time and on budget. They ve also had the same mechanics for a long time so you know they not only treat their customers right, but also their technicians. I had a good experience with Morgan Motors. They were prompt and professional, and provided me with additional guidance regarding my vehicle model's particular engine problems (Chevy Equinox). They provided a loaner car at no charge. I've had no issues with the work they completed and feel that I was treated with fairness and honesty. I'll be a repeat customer.

These guys are the best... I brought my car into them after have a very bad experience with the local Ford dealership. They not only were very up front and honest with me about the pricing of what I needed done to my car, which is 18 years old at this point, they stood behind their work.I had brought my car in to them to get the breaks replaced and tires rotated. And while it was up on the lift, I had them check a transmission leak, that showed up after the Ford dealership changed my transmission fluid. Morgan Motors advised me that it was probably the gasket and replaced it.I brought it home and after a week I noticed that my car was still leaking. I called them that same morning, and they told me to come in, and they replaced the gasket no charge while I was waiting. At no charge. They advised me at the time that if the car was still leaking that it was probably the plate that would need to be replaced. My car is 18 years old, things wear out, so I take repairs with stride, the leak was still present after driving around for a week. I called again and they ordered the part I dropped it off, and picked it up the next day.When I went in, they told me it was no charge again. I said "Really??" and they said yes, I pretty much begged them to charge me the cost, and they so no charge again. What great customer service.I highly recommend Morgan Motors and they now have a customer for life.

Horrible place. I bought a used car where the previous owner did service. There was a problem with the parts of the service this company performed, and while it was just a few months from the service they: 1. Said they will NOT honor the warranty. 2. Services are apparently non-transferrable from owner to.. owner..(hell, we are talking about the same CAR) 3. The guy was rude and impatient.Please go somewhere else.Services: Auto brake repair, Air conditioning, Auto maintenance

These guys go above and beyond to make sure that they do the repair right. Had a really tricky oil leak that I'd tried to fix myself twice (and failed) and they were able to get it fixed by customizing the fasteners on the valve cover (which I would never have thought to do). Their prices were a little lower than integrity automotive which was nice too and they are very close to the park and ride which made it very convenient to drop my car off in the morning (they have an early hours drop box for keys), hop on the bus to work, and then pick my car up in the afternoon. The only negative is that the word has gotten out how good these guys are and so it might be a week or two before you're able to schedule an appointment.

These guys are top-notch. Honest, efficient and they do great work. I have been taking my Yukon there since I bought it used and I know I can always trust them to do what is needed and not do what is not needed. Kip at the front desk is very professional and all business. They are very busy and give personal attention to every customer so they don't have a lot of time to chit-chat which is a good thing in my book. I highly recommend Morgan Motors.

Yet again Kip and the guys at Morgan Motors are fabulous. I have been taking our various cars to Kip for the last 10 years and they never disappoint! Fast, reliable service with honesty and integrity that is hard to match. We had our daughters Civic in recently with a problem that they couldn't re-create at the shop. Through asking a series of key questions, they were able to diagnose and fix the car, all for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend them.

I have been a customer at least 20 years. The experience with Morgan Motors has always been professional and impeccable. The first time I knew this was a mechanic shop that wouldn't steer you wrong was when my AC quit working in my Civic. About for months prior to it quitting my heater went out. Morgan Motors fixed my heater. So when the AC quit, I brought my car to Morgan Motors. Later that day they called me to tell me my car was ready and the AC was fixed and that there wouldn't be a bill because it was something that happened when they'd fixed my heater. Now they could have told me that they needed to replace the AC unit or fix the wiring or whatever. Honestly I would not have known the difference. But they were up front and honest. I just had a similar experience with them although this time it wasn't anything they had done or something they missed. I had my CR V serviced a week and a half ago. New brakes and a regular service. I pulled out of work and my battery and AWD light came on. I drove straight to Morgan Motors because luckily for me my work is two miles from them. They were able to look at my CR V within minutes. A bolt had come loose on my alternator. Again they could have told me anything. I asked them how much I owed. Their answer? You just had your car serviced here and spent a ton of money, there's no charge! What? What business does this? An honest and professional business. You can trust Morgan Motors with your vehicle. I have for over 20 years and I'll never go anywhere else. Thank you Morgan Motors for being the mechanics you are

The only car shop where you get punish for getting estimates for different repairs. My car has several issues that needed attention and I requested some estimates. When I tried to get an appointment, I was told by "Kip Brown", the service manager, that I should have brought the car and that he was not interested in fixing my car anymore and that I should take it to the dealership instead. For this kind of service, you better start looking for a friendly place for any car repairs, where you are treated respectfully. Not recommended to anyone. There are other car repairs shop in the area that will want you business instead.

There are no espresso drinks or warm cookies served in the lobby. But, instead you get honest repair work at a fair price. Not the cheapest, but we all know what you get when you go the cheapest route. About 5 years I've been coming here and sometimes I have to wait a few days for an appointment.....worth the wait.

Morgan Motors is the kind of place where mechanics tell you, "You don't need this work, so save your money." I went in for my car's 90,000-mile tune-up and service. They quoted my price and then came in a hundred dollars under the quote because of work I had already done.My experience is that the mechanics at Morgan Motors do great work at a reasonable price and that they genuinely love cars. I absolutely recommend Morgan Motors.

Have my 7500 mile service at Morgan.They did all the service as described in their website. however never told me the result of their inspection and what to expect in my car. Found that my crankshaft pulley is wobbling and did not give me any knowledge of what to expect or to do about it, i mean it is something that is not normal right? and it might messed up my car in the future. All they advice is keep an eye on it and do the action later, if something bad happen. Why would i want to do that?! why would i want to wait till something bad happens right? This car will be used by me and my family and i want it to be safe car for us.Just a typical auto, who wants to get more money, they said they are the best in Issaquah but that was since 2012 and their service might not be the same then, their advice didn't give me a peace of mind. If you want a good advice and information about your car this is not the place to go.

Replaced my battery and alternator the same day, after masterfully coordinating the acquisition of parts and scheduling the service immediately. I was back on the road in a couple hours. Impressive shop.

Every time I come here, I'm taken care of in a prompt, professional (but friendly!), manner. They charge a fair price for excellent service. Been 3 years of routine checks, and more expensive fixes, and I couldn't be happier.

Honest, helpful, and competitive prices.In my case, the 90K service was less than half of what the dealer quoted. On top of that, Morgan Motors actually did quite a bit more than what the dealer offered.

Ken is the best! He is extremely patient and really listens. It doesn t matter how much time it takes, he will always listen to your questions and explain everything, even twice if needed! Brought my car in for a full inspection prior to getting more work done. Usually runs around 400 bucks. He stopped half way through, called and said that my vehicle and its manufacturer have been discontinued and only charged 75 instead saving me time, money, and a huge headache down the road.
