Updated: Another five star review. I have been using this shop forever, the service is always great. The owner, front office staff and technicians are all very knowledgeable, willing to help explain what needs to be done and why they are recommended the service. We just had them fix our truck that broke down on the side of the freeway, it was making a weird noise then it died, it did start back up, but we had it towed to the shop because of not knowing what was wrong. The water pump broke, and leaked all over the badly worn serpentine belt so it came off. The parts were ordered and the supply house had the parts in stock, so we didn t have to wait long, and picked it up a few days later. Another happy satisfied customer.

I will take all my cars here and recommend them to everyone that asks about a great car repair shop in the area.I have used many others in the area and have felt scammed by them all. It's hard to be treated fairly, especially as a woman in car shops. They got me in same day when I was stranded and got me back on the road at an amazing price.I am a single mom with no support here and often feel isolated and alone. I want to feel a community presence and like we all care about each other. That's vanishing in this world.I really felt community today from Cassandra at O'Reilly's who recommended me here after helping me figure out the issue to Zack at Clark's towing company that got me here (though $260 to go 1.3 miles was an ouch) and to Alan for being an all around amazing person. I can't tell you how much I appreciate all of you and how much you have made me feel like humanity may still have a chance.Kindness matters so much and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Took my car here to have a issue sorted out and all they did was take my 300 dollars and to tell me the same thing I already told them let me explainI own a Mercedes e350 I went to them because my rear SAM module wasn t working it s like a BCM for a regular car so I had no turn signals and no radio and maybe a few other things didn t drive it like this unless I had to so I took it to them knowing they specialize in Mercedes before going to them I already replaced the rear Sam with a new unit and that didn t fix it so when I dropped my car off I hung out for about 45 min talking to the rep explaining to him everything I new water got in on passenger floor board rear Sam doesn t work I already put new Sam in which didn t change the situation dude was like no worries I ll tell my tech and he ll start from there well after giving them 3 hours worth of diagnostic time after which the sales guy said well my tech needs to replace the rear SamHim self before we can go any further even though I had a new ones installed which I was going to have them program once the issue was fixed so after all of this and leaving my car there for 2 days I payed for them to tell me what I already did so useless the best part is the tech didn t even look at the water part on the passenger floor board because if he did he would of seen it was a burnt can bus block replace the 10 dollar part and then they could of charge me for programming and anything else they wanted but no he didn t even look because once they couldn t fix it I pulled up the carpet looked at the wires saw it was burnt replace the wiring and can bus block and everything I mean everything started working again with no issues now going onto 2 years yes this happened in 2021 and I am still upset about it because why take money hard earned money from someone and then say yeah sorry pay 2500 to replace a module that the dealer sold me for 400 or we can t help u what kind of service is that of course I didn t pay but just shows all they do is plug in a scanner and if they can t figure it out from there they are done beware unless u need a programming need for Mercedes I would never go here

5stars all day long!! Been my 'go-to' mechanics since I bought a Ford. Fortunately, my Chevys never need work. Either way, great professional services run my genuinely good humans.

I will never take my car here again, if it was the last place on earth. From the start Pam the receptionist was rude, disrespectful, and condescending she assumed I knew nothing about my car or even cars in general. Every time I called to get an update (because they never bother to call and let you know anything) I was told a different story every time, and the time of completion was extended every time as well. I had to correct the mechanic in several instances because of his seeming lack of knowledge about my car (which they say the specialize in) and poor mathematical skills. The labor rate is absolutely ridiculous and over priced as if you were going to a dealer. They also take their sweet time getting your car done, whether or not you have a deadline to make. It took them 2 weeks to diagnose that I needed to replace my engine and another 2 weeks to start working on replacing it. With the terribly inconsiderate costumer service and snail pace of fixing my car, I would have rather spent more money (that i don't really have) going to a dealership or taking it across the country to get fixed. This is the last place you should go for any car if you want to be treated as a person and have your car back in a reasonable amount of time.

I really appreciated how thorough, straightforward and fast my inspection was. I will definitely bring my car back to this business. Great experience. They saved me from buying a car that would have given me big problems down the line.Service: Vehicle InspectionService: Vehicle Inspection

Had a stuck window in the down position during 31 degree temps. Alan got me in first thing and fixed same day. Also went above and beyond and replaced by handle where the lock was punched out. Fixed that too. Excellent service! Excellent people!

The team at Automeister II is amazing, they do great work and do so with integrity and honesty. While I've taken my 2004 Jetta to this shop for years, I made the mistake of having it inspected elsewhere a few months back. That shop came back with a $4K estimate for 'immediately needed' repairs and cited serious safety concerns with my car if those repairs were not made quickly.I declined their work and took my car to Automeister II for its 90K service where Alan and the team also took the time to review the notes from the previous shop. Not only was my car not in any imminent danger, but only one of the recommended repairs was actually needed. Automeister II did the work and at a lower cost. I will never take my car anywhere else.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

I was sent here from Costco. I wish i could describe my experience here without sounding so frustrated! All I had was dead-battery (and I made the mistake of asking them to check for other needs for my Honda Accord). Was a good start they towed my car and suggested to change break pads. I said ok to get it all done. Got my car back only to find battery was dead again in a day. They said it was a bad battery so they replaced it again and now i see brake lights on all the time. Called them back to learn something is wrong with another electric part to do with brakes (perfect coincidence) that is going to cost me additional 1600 !! While they brought that price down, car is back with a dead battery and all possible issues! I REGRET going to Costco and trusting this dealer because of Costco. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE experience and now they wont even return calls or answer. I am now ready to sell this car thanks to Automeister II and Costco !Services: Electrical, Brakes, Battery

So happy with my first service here. They got me in right away, and although the price wasn t what I wanted to hear, it was better than the estimate I got from my regular garage who doesn t know European cars...they also stayed late on Thanksgiving Eve to finish my car, and were so nice about it, and it was $25 cheaper than the original estimate.. I m super grateful and thankful and will be using them again for sure.

Brought one of my vehicles in to tshoot a 'maint needed' light and after another repair shop didn't help diagnose a brake pbm. Car just needed a tuneup vs extra repairs (common story with the other repair shop). Brake were fine and just needed occasional cleaning of brake dust (something not shared/noted by the other repair shop). Car finished by the deadline and final bill was reasonable.Great work! I now have a new auto shop for my other 2 cars when tune-up/maintenance is needed. Thanks Automeister!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes

Back in November our Audi Q7 started to rough idle and was not drivable. We took it to Audi of Bellevue and was told that the vacuum lines were bad causing the rough idle and that the alternator was also bad. They then said I would need a carbon build up cleaning, mind you it had already been sitting at the dealership for over 2 weeks. I was quoted almost $6k for all the work so I had it towed over to German car specialist where they told us after running a diagnostic that it was the vacuum lines causing the issues. They quoted me about $400 less than the dealership to do it so we went ahead and had it done. We went to pick up the car to find out there was no change in the rough idle and was told by the tech that he knew it wasn t the vacuum lines causing the issues when we brought it in but was told that s what he was to do. Frustrated we drove it home rough idling and dying at every stop. I had gone to Jocko s shop before for some work on my bmw and was very satisfied with the work. I called and Jocko said he d look at our Audi and when I told him it didn t run due to rough idling he told me not to worry about it and would come pick it up at no charge. Then second he got the car in the shop he texted me a pic of the problem and it was unbelievable what the other shops were trying to rob me of. All this time it was a breather plug and Jocko got it done without costing me an arm and a leg and to this day car is running better than it ever has. Shout out to Jocko and his crew for the awesome service definitely my go to from now on!Service: Engine repair

Outstanding work. They made what other shops considered dangerous or would not do at all painlessly simple. They politely calmed me (the overprotective parent of a shiny new rig) feel comfortable, did great work, under the estimate, and I couldn't be more pleased. Use Jocko and the crew with confidence.

I began taking my Volvo to this shop based on the recommendation of another mechanic in the area. While they have done fine with oil changes and basic work, I have now had multiple experiences with this shop where their diagnosis did not match or resolve the issue we were trying to fix. Furthermore, after always guaranteeing that diagnostic costs would be applied towards the work, they always have an excuse about why they wont apply the costs when it comes time to pick up my car. I have had this issue with this shop 3 times now. Today, the shop owner actually decided to get macho in his refusal to honor their word and apply the diagnostic costs to the work, and then he stormed out of the room in a tantrum. I am tired of arguing with this shop over basic expectations and basic personal decency.

Jocko is the best kind of gearhead. He's clearly got a genuine love for the vehicles he works on, and is a seriously skilled mechanic. My unique vehicle broke down outside of Issaquah less than 200 miles into a 1000 mile road trip and other shops weren't interested in fixing something non stock. Not only did Jocko go out of his way to complete the repair, he did it with extraordinary speed and skill. I was on my way far faster than I would have ever expected and drove home without any further problems. Not only do he and his staff do great work at Automeister, they're genuinely nice to talk with and all around good people. Can't recommend enough. Thanks again!

Jocko and Kerri always take care of their customers and run a highly competent and extremely professional repair facility. We've always been blown away when we've visited (and their new shop is awesome!). Keep up the great work and thank you for everything!

I took my S550 in for the first time. Jocko is great. I'm not a regular to non dealership mechanics as I try to keep cars for only a certain time frame so its under warranty. However I love my S550 and needed a solid mechanic in Issaquah. As a business owner in Issaquah I am concerned about reputation myself so I'm very picky in how I'm taken care of by other businesses. I've been there couple times now and all I've received each visit is first class treatment. I would highly recommend Jocko and his staff.

I took my car for repair and they estimated over 2000.00. When I said that I would have bring the car back at another time because I couldn't afford it. Then they gave me a bill for over 200.00 dollars for inspection which is outrageous. I have had to go through different shops from small to big shops ranging from 10 to 60. I didn't think that it was fair for them to charge me this much money just for inspection and also they should have told me about their fee up front.

Great shop. The business side (e.g. callbacks, updates, etc) is good, but not quite on par with something like a dealership -- but still totally fine. Mechanically, they're great. I dropped a PITA lemon of a project truck into Jocko's lap, and he stuck with it, stood behind his work, and bent over backward to make sure that we ended up where we needed to be.tl/dr: Hard customer with a painful vehicle. Jocko always made sure we were taken care of.I would have sent me out the airlock a long time ago.

I would advise anyone with a late 90 s early 00 s Audi to not bring their car here. I took my car in a couple years ago to fix a few things and the results I got were awful. What I took my car (Late 90 s B5 Audi A4 2.8v) in for:1. Engine was misfiring2. Timing belt and water pump replacement3. Small oil leakWhat I got back:1. Engine that was still misfiring (I ended up figuring out the issue myself = faulty ignition coil).2. Timing belt and water pump replaced but workmanship/parts didn t last. I had to replace the water pump a couple years later due to it causing a big coolant leak (about 40k after automeister replaced it usually a water pump should last somewhere between 60k-90k).3. A new MASSIVE oil leak (about 1 quart every 2 weeks).4. $2,500 dollars out of my pocket This was expected so not complaining.5. This is the biggest disappointment. Instead of owning up for causing an even BIGGER oil leak than my car originally had they asked me for an additional 2k for fixing it. No responsibility taken even though the new leak came from an area they had just worked on.In the end I feel like I paid $2,500 and got nothing in return. My car was in no better condition (actually got it back in worse condition) than when I took it in. Hopefully I can save another person from going through the same thing.

Jocko and Allen really took great care of us! Very clean and organized shop catering to the higher end car, and attention those types of vehicles need. Highly recommend!!
