Stopped in after a phone call to see if we needed to replace the timing belt on my wife's Subaru Outback.I couldn't believe how much they cared about helping us in an honest knowledgeable assessment to determine if we needed the work done or not. If I'd taken it somewhere else I'd been sold a bill of goods and never know the difference just paid for work not needed.I will go back to them in a heartbeat for any work I'll need in the future.Honestly is hard to find anymore.Absolutely this is a great shop and I highly recommend them!

I am so happy i know Steven from this shop you can t find a more trust worthy guy always in a great mood and so freggin helpful it should be a crime lol these guys lent me tools before to take home WHO DOES THAT!? i come in more often to just ask advice on my truck and he s more then happy to go over it with me FOR FREE i would recommend this shop to my own mother in fact i have i can t say enough good stuff about these guys

Had a dead battery and Josh helped me out by bringing out his jump box. Simple fix but was so accommodating. Not many people would have done this, but he did. Amazing customer service.

We have had our vehicles serviced since moving over to Hansville five years ago. We were lucky to meet Steven and Russ, and even more fortunate to have them maintain all of our vehicles. Great work ethic, honest, and the quality of maintenance and repairs have exceeded all expectations. Hansville Auto is the only place I take my car. Steve is the most honest and skilled mechanic I have even known. He will never recommend a service that isn't necessary, and the quality of work is top notch. They have been in business for many years, and have my absolute trust and loyalty.

Car showed zero oil pressure. They did a thurough inspection. The only issue they found was the gauge sender had failed. They bid $400 to upgrade and replace the sensor. I decided to replace it myself. They explained the risks.

Brought my car here because the reviews were stellar. I felt great while there. Took the diagnostic (which was for almost 2k) home while I was told that they'd look for"other parts" so it'd be cheaper. After 2 weeks if not hearing from them I look on Amazon for the part he mentioned.I bought spark plugs and and the ignition coils he said I needed for less than 50 bucks online and after watching a YouTube video changed them myself in 20 minutes. 2k? Um no.Fine for locals I guess but seriously. 2k for a job that cost me less than 100 bucks. What am I supposed to say???**Update**The owner called me today, 6/21 and apologized really sincerely for my job slipping through the cracks. He called my number ( and even called back after my initial screen) to own up to an honest mistake. We chatted for a couple of minutes about the car and after many apologies he asked for a second chance if I ever need anything again. Maybe I'm an old sucker , but for him to call me to apologize after reading the above review really impressed me and I think I will give them another chance. Rating update based on human interaction.

Was completely thrilled with the replacement of the rear shocks and the addition of a transmission cooler. It was done in a day!My only regret was not having my front struts replaced at the same time, so I just had those done too...and only took a day, again.Update: after mice built an apartment in my engine / vents, Steven and crew evicted them (the apartment has become a mortuary), replaced the wiring buffet, and I'm back on the road again (with Bounce dryer sheets under the hood)Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance

Hands down the best. Steven is honest, helpful and willing to do anything to get your car fixed and save you money. They work quickly and communicate well, and don't try and hustle or nickel and dime you to deathHe's given me advice and provided assistance to help me repair my vehicle on my own, saving me a lot of money.I will go to no other repair shop in Kitsap. Even if I leave Hansville I'll still make the drive to this little shop.

Found the Owner and Mechanic to be the same person, needed my Volvo looked at, and was pleased at the kindness Steve had shown.As a female I would recommend Hansville Auto for all your Vehicles Needs. Exceptional and Courteous!
