I called Pilchuck Automotive on a Weds or Thursday, about 16 days before Christmas. They told me I could bring it in Monday. No other places I called could get to it for few weeks. Dropped my van off on Sunday and Tuesday the issues were resolved. I picked it up and was only charged for what seemed to be an hour of labor plus the price of the 1 part they replaced. I feel like they could have charged me much more for labor, consideringthere isn't many options for mechanics in Granite Falls. I was very happy with the cost and the work. I highly recommend them and will be a return client. Thank you Pilchick Automotive. Made my day

Welcoming lil place. They were able to work on both our '85 conversion van & 2015 Hyundai, and even charged less then quoted. They were a lil behind on the Hyundai, but it was very reasonable timing and the mechanics are very friendly & respectful. Definitely recommend them

Went in for an estimate on rear brakes. Sean gave me a quote immediately that was substantially lower than quotes from dealership and a national chain. Easy to schedule a time for repairs. Dropped my car off in the morning and it was ready early afternoon right on quote. Thank you Pilchuck Automotive.

I gave them one star cause zero stars is not an option.I'll be short and to the point. This place is dishonest to the man.They had our car for a month "waiting" for parts. The car was a 2004 not an old impossible to find parts for classic. When we got it back it cost us over $1000 and it still wasn't fixed. AND it was worse off than when we left it there.We ended up donating the car because it was in such bad shape.So, having said all this, if this place is your only option, just shoot your car and give it a quick and painless passing.

How this place is rated at 4.7 stars can not be true, unless I am the one in a million that has had an awful experience with them, but I truly doubt it.Mike has had my car for over a month which needed a timing belt kit and the heads reworked, They had my heads for two weeks, and all I got was excuses that were internal, not my fault.After paying him $2300.00 in cash, he did give me a little break on the price. But what did I get besides my car? Oil all over my aggregate driveway from what I assume is leaky valve covers, oops did they forget to tighten them down,LOL.Plus when I called him to let him know I was on my way back so they could tighten up the leak, he just asked for the keys and said that's all and put me back in line to be reworked.What he should have done was have the mechanic that worked on it stop what he was doing and at least looked to see i it could be fix quickly, now I have to drive it checking my oil frequently until I can drop it off after my Appointments today.Therefore think twice before taking your car to Pilchuck auto in Granite Falls, and let me not forget to mention his lousy bedside manner, the Grumpy old man thing is not good buss.

Was great 3 years ago and I miss the quality of their service. Now the quality seems to have vanished. Just today 2020-10-19 my rear drum brake cylinder burst, the crazy thing is it was supposedly replaced 11 months ago due to be weeping. I had them replace the rear drum cylinders and pad. It cost me $301.06. I can not recommend this mechanic.Update. 12/1/2020 during the process of replacing both sets of brakes I find that the other wheel cylinder was not properly secured. One bolt was halfway and the other was a completely different bolt and warped. I had payed to have new cylinders installed and they used faulty hardware to secure them. I am very disappointed. There is no way I can recommend this company to friends or family after what I have seen today. I am now concerned about my other vehicle I had them work on.Service: Brakes

I continually hear from people they've just taken their car to Pilchuck Automotive & usually that's a bummer to hear as nobody enjoys having problems w/their cars but time and again I hear just the opposite! People are ecstatic after their visit boasting of how well Mike took care of them fixing the problem(s) and for WAY LESS than they'd been told elsewhere!! Haven't you always dreamt about having an honest and knowledgeable mechanic in your corner?! Dream no more and go here! YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

Wasn't happy with there workI always thought that car in shop for repairs and needed parts that they would call you to let you know how much the availability NO WRONGby the time I called and checked progress after having car 51/2 hours later that they couldn't get the part the next morningSo another day LOST WAGES

Thank you SO much for being a good neighbor. I just needed a jump and they were kind enough to go over a couple of blocks with their battery and save me the tow, despite having a busy morning.
