Hardware store, does not describe this store they do have hardware, and a very nice supply. They also have kitchen items, garden plants, fertilizer, bird supplies, dog supplies, candles, paint, cards, booze, snacks and more!One stop shopping for most of your needs. The staff here is very friendly and helpful!A fun store to browse!

Was in a huge rush to find some very specific hardware, nuts and bolts. I couldn't find what I was looking for and before long Robert came to help. Within a few minutes he helped me find everything I was looking for and got me out the door! Excellent service, thanks Robert!

Really big fan. These people are honorable and great staff and product selection is wonderful. I would recommend if you are rebuilding your house! Props to doing a good job Ace people!

Ace really is the place with the friendly hardware folks in Friday Harbor. I'm not from here I'm from Montana and I needed a specific 5/8 percussion drill bit. From the moment I walked into the store there was a friendly young gentleman with an Ace Hardware vest with name tag " Michael" giving me a look as though you need any help buddy. I told him that I needed that percussion bit and he immediately took me down the aisle where it was at took it off the shelf and handed it to me. Thanks Mike! I hope that management takes notice of what a friendly and efficient employee you are God bless- Tony

Super nice and helpful people here. We we're looking for stuff for my daughter's science project. So, we had to get pretty creative. Three people helped us find what we needed. Great store. It's small but we'll stocked for it's size.

I was appalled by the action of an associate. I came in 12/26 because I'm here on holiday and I was in need of a heater. Me and my partner were shopping and an associate approached my partner demanding his name. She was so rude and he was told to leave the store behind my back & For what??? We have yet to receive a good reason. Any at that.He's just a big white guy a little intimidating, can be unconsciously loud sometimes but a gentle giant. I can't believe how we were treated. And since when can an associate make an executive order to refuse us service. who's the owner? it's winter and we simply were in/out to purchase a space heater.

Found myself in need of new batteries for my boat while on a day trip. Pulled into Friday Harbor expecting to pay an arm and a leg for them. I was pleasantly surprised that the prices were the same you'd pay off the island. The Ace staff were super friendly and even gave me and my two new batteries a ride to the dock and helped carry them to my boat!

I love this place! Staff and Managment is awesome! If you need something on island these guys either have it or can quickly get it to you! It's not just hardware either, lighting, fishing stuff, fans, gardening stuff, spirits, island knick knacks, back scratchers, pop-tents... a great value and a wonderful addition to our island community!

They sell Dot's Pretzels from SD. They are huge hit in Washington state and other states!! They are good. This place just about little of everything that Ace would care. People and staff are very friendly if you are visiting!!

I really do love th it s store. They have almost everything. Not as good as Jack's in Long Beach WA but a great place all the same. Reminds me of the Hardware stores in the 1960s people can find gifts too.

This place is amazing! Everything you could want from a hardware store. Friendly staff, big store & sales & cash back rewards card. They have a magazine library outside, locals bring magazines & anyone can take a few.

They are helpful and usually have what you need, it may take three pieces where one would have worked but eventually you get there. They have higher prices than you normally see but it the island that that's island life.

Wow, best equipped hardware store since Parkrose in Portland. Shelves are stuffed with typical hardware needs plus marine goodies and fishing too.
