What a gem. Found a car for my son as a daily runner. Sales were SUPER honest that the car had an engine smoking issue. Very up front about it. These guys are top shelf! Would absolutely buy from them again.

I've come here for maintenance and repairs multiple times over the years and they've always provided great work without trying to upsell me on anything. They've even helped me to find and fix issues that were created by going to other auto shops. My family members and I have always gotten honest good service when coming here and I would recommend this shop to anyone. Kevin and Andy have serviced my cars for the past 20+ years. Andy has helped me purchase excellent used automobiles right off his lot. I know they're quality because they have been repaired and inspected by Fife Auto. And they always stand behind their work. Kevin is a fantastic mechanic. His labor prices are unbeatable and the turn-around is often same day. I will continue to support Fife Auto with every new or used car I own. And when my cars become so old they're unsellable, Kevin and Andy help me to find their final resting place. I love Fife Auto! Great job, Kevin!

I ve been coming to Fife auto repair &slaes for several years to get work done on my van. Kevin always gets me in right away and Andy does quality work for a great price. This time I failed my emmissions and since they are a Certified Emmissions Repair shop, They got me in right away and taken care of all in the same day!!! Love this place

Andy and Kevin do awesome work at Fife Auto. They make sure you know what they are doing to your vehicle and their work is top-notch. Their pricing is always competitive and comparable.For example... I used to drive a Mitsubishi Galant. The head gasket seal went out, had a squeaky timing belt and the engine was spluttering. A quote from a local chain would cost me more than $1300. I was quoted $850 here and the work was done in a day.Now I am driving a minivan and so far their work has been superb. The chain account before mentioned would cost me over $1100 but they quoted me for around $650. Going in today for one of those repairs, actually.I was recommended to them by some really good friends of mine and I usd to travel from Shoreline to see them. Now that I live closer I will make sure to visit them for all my vehicular needs.Thank you Fife auto!

Been doing business with Kevin for 20 years. Good, dependable service. Will not rip you off for unneeded repairs. He does a lot of dealer work so he knows many different types of autos and what are common problems.

I have been taking my Acuras, Hondas, and Toyotas to Kevin for over 20 years and have NEVER been disappointed, misled, overcharged, or any of the other things I've experienced with other shops. And on top of it all, he fixes it right, every time, the first time; he really knows what he's doing. He is generally less expensive than anyone else, faster, honest... He has even fixed small things on my car for free a few times. He always has good advice and can fit me in right away when I need help. I'd give him 10 stars if I could.

Kevin is amazing. Very efficient and professional. He did work quickly and was even a little less than quoted. Pointed out work that may be needed in future but didn't try and up sell. Definitely coming back. Looking for an honest mechanic you can trust, look no further.

They are knowledgeable, fast and always get you in when it works for you. They fix the plugs on my car when the dealership couldn't figure it out! They are honest and will tell you when you do or dont need to get something done. They helped me find part and answered any questions i need. I moved to South Hill but I still drive to Fife because great service is hard to find. Thank you!

The owner does all the work himself to ensure it's done right. He's knowledgeable about our cars and usually has the repairs done when promised. His prices are reasonable.

During a cross-country drive my Honda Civic literally konked out in the boonies of South Dakota. Luckily a very nice sheriff saw me stranded on the side of the road and called the only local car dealership/repair shop for me to ensure my safety.thenHe waited until the dealership's tow truck person arrived, who collected my car and me for $100, then took me to the local dog-friendly hotel there.then part iiThe next morning, the repair shop informed me that my car was not going to be able to be repaired because an oil leakage had fried its engine.The end of that chapter is:I had to buy a used car from them because the town was so smalland far away from a large city that they had no other dealership nor repairservice for me to verify their news.plusThe closest taxi service was 50 miles away with no car rental service even that close for them to drive me to.soMy only option to continue my journey was to buy one of their cars. I chose their least expensive used car (a 1999 Ford Contour for $3000.00...Yes, $3000.00).andGuess what...3 days later I was in another car repair/sales with that Ford Contour because it was so rusted out underneath that my brakes suddenly started flickering on and off!andThe magical part of this story is, when my brakes started flickering off, I pulled over, Googled 'car repair in Fife, WA' and found the Google reviews for Fife Auto Repair and Sales,which was only 3 miles down the road from me.andIt was also magical because not only did they repair my brakes, exhaust pipes, etc., in a few hours (and were even nice enough to point me in the direction of where I could take my dog for a walk while they were tending to my car), they removed the two super tacky hub caps (the other two were missing) from my car and replaced them with new, shiny, matching hub caps on all four of my wheels as a surprise FOR FREEt!soNot only is that scared knot in my stomach gone, I'm actually smiling as I'm writing this because the money I spent there was not only reasonable, it was painless to pay for their services because I could tell that they truly care about their customers' safety and comfort instead of using our situations to greedily line their pockets with our panic money.soIf y'all live around Fife, WA and you ever need any kind of repair (or to buy a car that you can afford and feel safe in coz it's not super rusty underneath where you can't see it), I recommend y'all find your way to this spot.cozThey truly demonstrated that they cared about this customer with the effort they took to go above and beyond what needed to be repaired to secure my safety and to replace my worried expression with a big smile on my face when I got behind the wheel of my repaired car because I knew this time when I rolled off into the sunset it would be a smooth and safe ride home.Really.K.

Maybe my car really needed that $500 worth of work, but since it didn't ultimately fix the problem that brought me in, I doubt it. A tiny weld completed at another shop for free, however, DID appear to have fixed the problem. Then there was that other part they insisted had only a few months of life left, but nobody else has been able to find a problem with it in several years since. This place is just downright shady at best, and run by crooks who need to be forcibly shut down more honestly.

The guys here are awesome and friendly! Very honest and upfront about repairs. Completed a lot of repairs in a timely manner. Stayed in constant communication with us all along the way. We will be bringing our cars here from now on. Thx guys!

My engine wouldn't start one morning and I had to get my 97 Subaru Outback towed into this garage. They got my engine running again the same day. It was $95 to diagnose the problem, $317 for the fuel pump, $238 for labor.

BEWARE! I made concrete plans to buy a car from this vendor. I bought two plane tickets and time off work from Californina to Seattle and confirmed with him via phone call before I bought it. He gave me his word he would have it ready for me. Two days before my plane leaves he sends me a text, not even a courtesy call, to tell me he already sold my car for more money. I would have given him more if he would have asked. What ever happened to consumer respect?

These guys (Fife Auto Repair) called us out two different times to do work then told us it was already done by someone else. They call everyone in the book then give the job to whoever shows up first. We will be happy not to have you as a customer again. We get real tired of companies like yours that everything is fine when it goes your way but soon as it doesn't you leave a bad review and try to drag us through the mud. We didn't take that approach with you when you did us wrong and we were willing to look the other way and still help you out. Not anymore. Good luck to you!
