These guys rock! Customer for life. That's how l feel about this shop. After my previous mechanic moved to eastern Washington, l was looking for a new mechanic to work on my classic truck, and boy did they deliver. They did an absolutely amazing job. A big thank you to this shop for getting my truck road ready & a very quick turn around. A lot of work finished in just a week. Then they checked back with me a week later to see how my truck was running?Who does that?! They do! Thanks again for the steller work & l am definitely recommend this shop to friends & family.

The best shop town. I have found slightly less expensive places but, that does not mean a better value and that always reminds me of a famous quote (by John Ruskin) There is hardly anything in the world some man can t make a little worse and sell a little cheaper and those who consider price only are this man s lawful prey .This shop does NOT prey on their customers, they serve them, and serve them well.

I've been using this shop as my go to for years. They are fabulous. They get your job done. Reasonable prices, great knowledge, I'm a single woman, they take good care of me. Truck troubles never good, I don't hesitate referring them or taking my vehicles there. I almost feel like family. Marie

Performance Prep repaired my car's w/s wiper linkage that had come apart. I was in a time jam and they were able to turn the repar around in one day even tho I did not have an appointment. Repair was good. Thanks P Prep.

I love taking our cars to Perfomance Prep. They are a local small business and they know how to take care of their customers. They provide thorough service and are pretty dang quick. I appreciate the detailed communication we have received each time we have taken one of our vehicles in. I am 100% satisfied with the work and the care they took of our vehicles and family. I highly recommended Performance Prep!! Ward, Boonee and team are exceptional.

We have used Performance Prep for about 5 years and they never disappoint! Everytime we take our car in for repair they have been spot on with a solution. We have had them redo work that we had done at other shops and they have corrected the problem. We use them exclusively now for both of our car repairs. Would highly recommend!

I had the best experience ever with Performance Prep. My car was towed to them, they got the parts and my car was ready in 2 days. The owners are wonderful people and I loved being able to get my "dog fix" when I picked up my car!

They not only fixed the problem I brought it to them for, they then diagnosed and repaired a complex electrical problem that randomly caused the vehicle to not start. I had already paid two other shops to fix that problem, but they couldn t find it because the truck started working again. I couldn t be happier.

I took my 1955 cj3b with a 225 odd fire v6 Buick in there to have them figure out why it ran so bad .My motor has Howell fuel injection and since day one it ran bad never ran smooth and would not accelerate above half throttle. Ward changed the crank sensor bracket and fixed everything that was wrong with my motor.I am so pleased with the results finally runs fantastic. Thank You so much Tony L.

I towed my Ford Escape to them Thursday afternoon for a no start, got a quote the next morning, and it was ready to pick up Monday at noon. Awesome service. I also loved how the quote was a texted link too - I wish more shops did this.

Ward and crew dialed in the carbs on my tunnel ram, installed a new electric fan and did some other tweaks to help get me on the road. These sweet people fixed our Bus and when my corporation stalemated and didn t pay for 2 weeks they stayed patient and didn t take action even though they really needed the space.Thank you so much for working with us, and fixing the bus so seniors can enjoy their outings!!!

Bonnee and Ward and company are great people and do great work. They installed a custom electric fan and did an ECU tune on my '87 R20 Suburban with a TBI 454. I had an issue with the wiring a couple weeks after install and they fit me right in the next day for warranty work. I've had Performance prep do all kinds of work om my cars. Never a problem with anything they do this is the go to shop for all you car repairs. Very knowledgable, friendly and they explain things they find wrong. This is the second classic car that I have brought to Performance Prep and they have done an excellent job on both. The had to fabricate a latch for the rumble seat of my '30 Model A. Did a fantastic job, not to mention the oil change and general checkup. As a former professional vehicle mechanic I I have learned a little bit about identifying somebody who knows what they are doing. And as per usual, performance Prep provided me with prompt & outstanding service. The only upside to my vehicle breaking down was that I was certain i could get it repaired quickly and @ a competitive price. i recommend taking a step of faith & do yourself a favor. Not only were they pleasant and professional but our car was ready earlier than expected. Honest and straight forward... They were excellent at letting me know what to expect in terms of cost after the initial diagnostic. I have been going to Performance Prep for a years. There is a reason for that, they are outstanding. They have been taking outstanding care of my vehicles for years. They made it feel as if they had taken 100,000 miles off my truck. It ran better than it had in years. I had a small concern about factory OEM water pump parts that had been known to fail. Ward suggested an inexpensive modification to preclude future issues. It worked like a champ and I have had no problems since. They work hard to keep our vehicles running great and most important to me, reliable. I am very pleased with their knowledge, effort and service and can highly recommend them. Brad

Took my car here for the first time and will definitely be returning! Employees are friendly & helpful. Got my car in and out in one day, with a super clear explanation of what they did and how I was billed. Very thorough and honest. Highly recommend!

Performance Prep is the #1 place I will take my car. I have been 1,000% thrilled with the customer service and knowledge that they are equipped with. They are hard working, always work in a timely fashion, and are extremely communicative. I also love that they are a family business. I would absolutely recommend and hope they are around forever because I wouldn't trust anywhere else with my vehicle.

I had my cadi stolen form my Excursion, I called this shop to see when they could get me in. To my surprise, Boonee told me I could have the tow truck company drop it off in the AM the next day! My husband had called a few places and was told dates that were between 7 days to 2 weeks before drop off. The communication about parts needed and time line was flawless. Boonee spoke to the insurance company and kept them in the loop. The entire process was great. Staff is very friendly, I would highly recommend them.

Delighted they called followed up service. Drive home in Friday's rush hour uneventful & that's good. Starting and running so much better. Smooth acceleration and correctly shifting at normal points. My car broke down this morning at 8:30 am when I was down at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way with my daughter for a 3-day swim meet this July 28 weekend. I live in Bellingham, and I don't know any mechanic here in Federal Way. So, I Googled search and found Performance Prep. I talked to Ward. He's professional and helpful. He even recommended the tow truck company to tow my car to his shop so that I didn't miss my daughter's swim events. I was so worried that if my car was not fixed today Friday, I didn't know what to do since they would be closed for Saturday and Sunday. Ward pushed it through and got my car fix by 2 pm. When I told him I could not walk to his shop (it's about 2 miles). He even offered his mechanic Kevin to drive my car to the Aquatic Center to pick me up. My repair bill was very reasonable. He did not up sell me for things were not needed. Ward and Kevin were awesome. I could have given them a six-star review if it's available.

What a pleasant surprise! I expected good, very good actually. What I got was SUPERB diagnosis and treatment of a classic muscle car that has not been running right for some time. Expensive? What price is quality? Well worth it. I got the bad parts back with a detailed explanation of what was wrong and why, and Tom went over the list of things done. This is a great shop that treats you and your machine well. Yes, FIVE (5) stars! LOVED IT!!

Great family owned shop! Ward the owner was right on the mark, knowledgeable and honest work done in a professional manor. Diagnosed the issue, provided options and cost estimates. We have had the daughters car head replaced, a transmission in the wife's car and suspension work on mine.Always an honest assessment and good work!

I used to really love this shop, Ward used to be great, he's done work on my truck in the past. The time came that I needed to get a bit of an overhaul/ rebuild done on my truck, I called and talked to him, told him what I needed done, and he said he'd call me in a few days. Well, I waited about a week and half, no call back. So I called to try and get an update, still no news and he says he'll call me in a couple weeks to let me know what was going on. It's been about two plus months, still no call back. I ended up finding someone who is more knowledgeable about carburetors and I couldn't be happier that I found a master mechanic to do my overhaul for about $,8000.
