So took my Chevy truck in to have A water leake fixed that was Rain Water. So they cleaned drains and unclogged but still did not fix the water leak. That was $408.25 and still it leaked rain water. So took back A second time they charged us $254.39 for the issue they did not fix correctly the first time. Would I ever go back hell no, would I ever recommend hell no. Was so not happy with this place. If I could do zero star I would. Thank you but never again. And no reply is necessary. Cause my review won't change.

My car lost power on the highway. The engine was chuck when speeding up. Called a couple places but could not get it scheduled quickly. Mechanic Northwest not only got my car out in a better shape but also offered services to drop me off and pick me up so that I didn t miss work. This place is recommended.

This place used to be a great and affordable shop to go to but I don't know what happened to them in recent years. Needed to replace my water pump and oil pan which was told to be a 1 grand job only for it to balloon to almost 2 grand when I came in to get it back. Also, when I suggested replacing the serpentine belt with the Water Pump, they said the belt was fine but when I got into my car to go to work a few days after I got it back, the belts squealed when I ran the heater and it caused my engine to run rough. Unfortunately I couldn't take it back to them to get it fixed as I work in south Seattle and had to take it to a nearby shop which they said my belt was in rough shape and they didn't install the pump correctly so I had to pay for more repairs. I really liked this place as it is super close to me, friendly, and they are sameday, but the price I paid for the last job and this water pump fiasco completely killed their reputation for me.

My car was stolen and the theives trashed the interior,One of the mechanics cleaned it and sprayed a deodorizer, and put a plastic wrap on my broken window. They repaired it quickly and correctly, they never tried to get over on me. Oscar was extremely patient with me. Very good prices, overall perfessional mechanics, i highly recommended and you would be smart to make this your main regular mechanic.

Went in for maintenance. Had that engine light turn on and wanted to get my car fixed asap. They certainly did that. In fact, it only took 5 hrs I believe. They were very hospitable. Customer service 10/10!! Yes, did I have to pay a little to have my car fixed, of course. But they did it in a timely manner. I see a lot of folks putting this company down. I don't get it. These people treated me really well. They also have to make their money, they're a business. I loved my experience. Really happy I went to them!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Raised the price by 300 dollars for my brake pads rotors and calipers. Ended up having a family member doing them and looked under there myself calipers did not even need to be replaced. Wouldn t go back and don t recommend.Services: Vehicle Inspection, BrakesServices: Vehicle Inspection, Brakes

As a car guy I can say this is truly the best shop I have ever dealt with. It's a story, so I'll give a short version. I was on a trip from Arlington to Ocean Shores with my two little girls and Wife when my vehicle overheated and started blowing steam in gridlock traffic. Late in the day on a Friday, I knew I was doomed as I was far from home. As it was cooling on the side of the sketchy freeway and I brought out our road trip water to get off, my wife started to make calls. From shops to towing we were told tuff luck. Then my wife called Mechanic Northwest an hour before closing. The kind lady said they would look at it and give it a diagnostic! We limped it there and they actually moved a car out of a bay to help us in our bind. With a blown water pump and a cracked thermostat housing, I wasn't going anywhere. They got to work right away and I know they took the job to help because there were cars ahead of me. All at a fair price! This is what blew my mind. With reservations on the ocean and my family stuck, they actually took us to get a rental car and stayed late so we could come back and get our stuff. Who does that? I don't think I could count on family to go out of the way like that. They saved our bacon and our trip for sure. As far as the repair, SUPER clean work with attention to detail. I wish they were closer to my home because I would never take my vehicles to anyone but Mechanic Northwest! They were done with our car the next day but let us pick it up on Monday so we could enjoy our trip. I LOVE these guys.

Called them and made a next-day appointment. Dropped off the car for a diagnostic and they called a few hours later to let me know the control arms needed replacing. Gave me a quote for the cost, I agreed, and my car was ready later that afternoon. Friendly and professional with every interaction, quote was accurate when I went to pay, and the car runs smoothly. Would recommend to anyone in the Federal Way area.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Wheel alignment

Everyone one at Mechanic NW is very nice and helpful. I have used them several times over the years and find them reliable in their repairs. Today my heater wasn't running properly and they were able to diagnose it and repair in one day. My only disappointment was the repair tech moved my seat in many different locations, along with my side mirrors and was not put back: I'm 75 years old and have had both hips replaced and it's not easy to move the seat forward and relocate the back to its proper place with ease. He also left the floor paper in which I had to drive home with it under my feet then throw away myself. The heater worked very well on my drive home.Service: Steering & suspension replacement

way overpriced. i paid for an inspection ($100) just to be told that brake pads and rear rotors would cost $1200. i called around and the first place i got a hold of said they would do the pads and front AND back rotors would be $750~. in my desperation i mentioned that if anything we could go ahead and start the repairs and i could pick it up next friday but apparently they can t be having a car sitting here for that long. also when i tried to apply for financing they ran a consumer report. i was told that no credit would be checked. the wording is kinda weird. the advertisement says no credit needed but doesn t say that if you have bad credit it ll reject you. it didn t technically run my credit but it d be nice if they knew what exactly they were using for financing because the consumer report still makes decisions BASED on your credit history.overall this is a stressful situation and i can t believe a POC owned company would gouge their prices like that.

We were on vacation and our car needed emergency repair. They got us in immediately and were done within a couple of hours! They were all so accommodating and professional. I highly recommend Mechanic Northwest! Oscar was so helpful along with the other mechanics ( I apologize, I don't recall their names).

This place deserves the highest of reviews. This is my second car I have taken to them right after purchasing them, without a doubt I get very well taken care of. The guys are very professional and Alnurfo is super knowledgeable and respectful. From the moment I met the owner of Mechanic Northwest in the rear of the shop in the parking lot until I drove away fully satisfied that my 2008 Infinity FX35 had its brake job completed I was treated with respect and friendliness in the process of doing professional work.I definitely feel that I picked the right shop to do business!Thank you for such a pleasant experience. It was an enlightening experience. Oscar was wonderful.My only suggestion would be to show the itemized details for labor part etc without a customer having to ask for it. Otherwise the service was great. Great courteous staff.

Outstanding excellent auto shop! They deserve more than 5 stars . They did a routine 90k full check up on my Toyota RAV- went through entire checklist replaced items and recommended a few things to improve the life of engine - no hard sell, honest, trustworthy and fair. I usually go to pep boys.. but the customer service there has gone down A LOT. They quoted me $1100 for what they thought needed to be done. And if I still liked pep boys I would ve paid that but then I thought I better give my money to a shop I actually like. I went to mechanic northwest and they were soooo helpful and nice and I can tell they weren t trying to take advantage of me or overcharge me. Which me being a young girl is usually what happens at mechanic shops. They were so transparent and kept me in the loop the entire time. The lady even took the time to explain everything and show me videos of what was done. If you re tired of big corporate chain mechanic shops, give these guys a try. I love small family owned businesses. I ended up paying way less than what pep boys was going to charge me And my car runs great! Also I had just taken my car to pep boys a couple months ago and paid $1700 and they said I should have no more problems.. just to end up with my car having trouble again after 3 months. I've been taking my Toyota Corolla to Mechanic Northwest for the last 4 years, and I really like that they always explain with details the service that my car will receive. Also, when there is any big maintenance service that needs to be done, Arnulfo always tells if that big service has to be done immediately for the sake of my car, or if the service can wait for few more miles without damaging my car. I appreciate his honesty.On top of the cake, Amanda is super nice, has a great customer service and she sends me reminders for my next car service.I totally trust Mechanic Northwest team!Totally recommend.

I m giving 2 stars because the staff was friendly and polite. I m the past their rates have been fare and I believe their work was done well. Recently I was having an issue with the rear brakes on my truck. Mechanics NW previously installed new Rotors, calipers, and pads on all 4 tires. I ve driven less than 1,000 miles in the last 2 years as the truck is used only for trips to the hardware store and the occasional dump run.I had them look at the brakes and requested a recommendation. They told me that all for drums, calipers, and pads need to be replaced because they were locked up and ruined. I m a little skeptical so I m taking my truck to a different shop.

So reached my raidator and I'll admit the transmission lines could have been better. Went for a test drive and I got as far as Military rd. And it was all bad. Ended up stuck at the Arco till 630 next morning. Got a ride home my sister called up Mechanics Northwest they gave her a number for me to call to have my car towed to there shop. I called dude was cool and said he could even charge the tow to the shop and I could pay when my car was repaired! They had my car ready to go the next morning at 8am! They were a lifesaver and did great work on my ride! Great people great shop.
