Took both of my Toyota Highlanders (2008 and 2018) here in the same day for oil changes. The service provided was excellent and David at the desk was awesome. Greg's provides a very thorough inspection report of your vehicle which is an easy read. David took his time to go over both reports and recommend which maintenance should be budgeted for next. There was absolutely no pressure regarding those recommendations and he did provide an estimate. I had to have the air flow sensor replaced on my 2008 and found out the last shop had broke it, and then super glued it together and into the socket! The technician was able to correct the issue. Thank you David and to the team of techs!

I had my oil changed here today. I saw an ad online yesterday listing a synthetic oil change for $48.99, which is a great deal so I called to confirm the Federal Way location would honor this deal and they said yes. I specifically asked if that included everything because I know places have hidden costs sometimes. The person I talked with said yes it included everything but tax. Perfect.I took my car in today and the guy at first quoted me over $100 so I mentioned the online deal and he honored it but then quoted me $88-something. I know my car takes 6.5 quarts of oil and the deal only covers 5 quarts so I questioned the quote and asked if 1.5 extra quarts of oil costs $40 he didn t specifically respond to my question but said well with tax and stuff and I said that s almost double the quote. The guy didn t respond so I just dropped it.My final bill was $88.01 and there was an additional charge of $7 for labor, $10 for oil filter, and $9.99 for oil. Even adding all these costs up plus the $48.99 does not equal out to $88.01, even when I leave plenty of room for tax. I will not be returning to Greg s due to the bait & switch advertising. I do not recommend for this reason.

Staff was professional, kind, and trustworthy. Service was right on time and appointment was even a little faster than expected. Had a special deal for oil change & tire rotation that was a great deal. They performed an additional inspection that I didn't realize was part of the service but I was very greatful for; they were able to identify a few important things that need attention soon. Would use again!

My Mitsubishi Lancer was running rough so I took it in to Greg's. The staff were courteous and they managed to diagnose the issue (bad spark plug/wire) and fix it same day. Since taking it in, its run better than ever! I will be definitely be coming back for any future car issues.

Greg's is "the best " place to take your car!!! They are honest and very competent. They won't overcharge you for parts and labor you don't need. You can trust Greg's completely to do a great job at a reasonable price!

Greg's was a lifesaver. I had a bunch of stuff go wrong all at once and they were able to get me in the next business day, and get it all fixed that day!!!!! They were extremely helpful, did quality work, and my car sounds and runs great again. Literally didn't miss work or have to rent a car. It was a fair price and they even gave me a coupon that helped cover the cost of inspection. Glad to know I've found a new near by local mechanic that I can trust. My last trusty mechanic was 35 minutes away. Thanks again guys you fixed what started as a very stressful situation before it could inconvenience my daily life. So grateful!!!!

Service here was solid. They also use an interesting software I hadn't seen before where they send you pictures and explanation with everything they plan to work on which is nice. You get way more info before you approve the work.They were responsive to questions and were easy to setup appointments with. I also had a bit of an awkward situation come up and they were able to make adjustments and work with me on it. Prices didn't seem out of the ordinary in either direction.Didn't have to wait long to get my vehicle serviced. I was able to get it back the next day. And that was because they initially had to acquire a part. Friendly folks too.Their location can be easy to drive past, so make sure to check your navigation.

I found Greg's after looking for a reputable mechanic in Federal Way for a number of years. I was impressed with the timeliness of the diagnostic and repair services! Our car is an old ( >20 years & >190,000 miles) Lexus which has been sadly neglected for the past 5 years. I knew it would be a costly maintenance and repair visit. The list of repair and maintenance services was consistent with my expectations. But, I was given options to stage the service visits to spread out the cost over a few months. The car is running well and I am very satisfied. Now I'm confident that I may be able to get the car to 300,000 miles! Thanks especially to Dylan! I highly recommend them!

This is a great shop! I called them with what I was suspecting was my headgasket, and I was right. They got me in without any real issues, and faster than I was expecting. They had my car torn apart, diagnosed, fixed, and ready to go all within a week and a half! I got the call the day before Thanksgiving, I picked it up and immediately drove to work in Seattle, and it felt like a new car again! Thanks again for the service and the speedy turnaround!

Came in on a weekday to have my front lamp bulb replaced. Fast and friendly service. On top of that they furnish a report indicating all is done and the problem was fixed! Their professionalism is spot on. Thank you very much guys and much blessings to all of you.

Well, although they weren't able to give me an alignment do to my outer tie rod, they were very nice and helpful. They ran a free diagnostic for me. Too bad everything was bad and I'm broke or I would've been happy to spend my money there

Came in to get my power steering failure diagnosed, within 2 days they had given me a full diagnostic list along with what was wrong with the power steering. Unfortunately I wasn't personally able to get it serviced but amazing service and turnaround!

You can always trust that this shop will get the job done CORRECTLY. Yeah, you might pay a little extra but after taking my personal vehicles to the Federal Way location multiple times, the peace of mind is worth the extra cost. Thank you David!

GREGS Japanese Auto is Not ONLY place to take your Japanese made vehicle to for repairs. They take the American muscle car too!! Walked in with my Challenger SRT8, one of my orange amber light was out. Lance knew exactly what needs to be done within a minute and took care of my issue immediately. Lance was an amazing guy. He was a very professional and knowledgeable about the issue. Thanks again.

Went here for an oil change. Paid and went home and suddenly had a pretty substantial oil leak. For whatever reason I went back for my next oil change, and the leak was suddenly gone. Go figure.

Service and staff are phenomenal. Had an issue with a Honda Fit, a simple problem a few zip ties could fix. These guys let me know and we were good to go. They put the car on the lift and gave it the quick fix. These guys didn't even ask for payment for the fix. 10/10 please choose this place first for all service!

Charged me over $1800 to take out and clean spark plugs twice. Spark plugs are only a few dollars, and I still need them replaced. Kept the car for weeks, so I had to buy a new one while waiting... charged $500 for alarm going off, but it still does. Charged another $1336 to replace fluid. I checked fluids when I got home, and empty, had to replace them myself.

I had an estimate from another repair facility for $500. Jeremy didn t believe that was the problem- he diagnosed and fixed the issue while I waited and the cost was only $100! Wow!! This was the best auto repair shop I ve ever been to, and believe me, with an old car, I ve been to a lot. Greg s Japanese auto saved me. I was on a road trip and a part of my car was stolen, and these guys helped me in the most kind, caring, a timely manner. If you EVER need car service done in this area, I can t recommend them more.
