My car battery died, and I was stranded. IThe Advances Auto Parts store team got me paired with the right battery at a good price and helped me swap it out quickly. I appreciate the time and support Al provided me with throughout the whole process. I was safely back on the road with a reliable battery thanks to them.

Needed a battery replacement for my boat and thought I'd purchase it at advance to turns out I've gotten it somewhere else but they were quick to locate a comparable battery which will see about a longevity but works for fine seemingly and they also help me find some parts for my old Dodge truck which are hard to come by and they were more than patient and really knowledgeable and helpful at this location which is rare for a parts store. Who most of them require you to know more about your vehicle than they do, but here they more than happy to help which is a nice change of pace.

The yellow sign says they close at 5. Its 2. Im here now. The parking lot has 5 cars of people who did what this guy just did. Try to buy car products and clearly they misrepresented the truth. One guy tried returning a tool. Its closed. Lazy people need to just stay home and leach off society. Let functional people work. Getting high isn't that important.

Went in Saturday 10-7. Greeted the counter person with the most Mr. Rogers welcome possible.Counter person was not interested at all in helping or resolveing any issue.No negative interactions, she just didn't care to be there.Management should review the incident and assist the employee with customer service skills.I will not shop Advance Auto any longer.I'll buy a new car first.

I checked on the Advance Auto Parts website to ensure the correct wiper blades for my vehicle were in stock. I then drove to the store and went in, grabbed the blades from the rack and went up to the counter. One of the packages was mangled and appeared to have been opened, and of course there were only two. I asked him to check to ensure they were the correct ones, even though I knew they were the correct ones. He tells me they're incorrect and they've been discontinued. I also looked in the damaged package and saw that it was missing one of the universal connectors. They actually put that out on the rack for people to buy.During the interaction with the customer service guy, he kept referring to me as male. When I corrected him, he just said the word MAN and kept referring to me as male, when I'm clearly not male. So I told them to forget it and walked out.I was going to buy oil and a filter, too. This makes two bad experiences with Advance Auto Parts in a row, and now they've permanently lost a customer.

Just wanted to say that this place is awesome. Two very incredible employees by the names of BRIAN and Christina helped me immensely in both part selection as well advice on a quick repair job I had to do. Extremely polite, very professional, and patient with someone who isn't an expert with cars. They deserve recognition! Far and away the best customer service I've ever had at an auto repair shop. Give these two a raise! Thank you advance auto parts!

Great and knowledgable people. Best prices in federal way. No reason to go elsware. Ask about a part or tool. If you like the price they will pull it from the shelf for you.

I showed up at this store 10 minutes before closing. I needed to replace a burned out headlight. As the interaction proceeded I mentioned to the young clerk that I was unsure of how to remove the old bulb and how to install the new one. He told me to watch a You Tube video. He then proceeded to help me and then rushed me out the door locking it behind me. I struggled to remove the old headlight, but finally after about 15 minutes I was able to remove it. When I attempted to install the new headlight after several unsuccessful attempts I determined it was not going to fit.I walked up to the window and tried for several minutes to get one of the clerks attention. The clerk made a gesture with his hands to plug-in the new bulb. I shook my head indicating no . The clerk continued to type on a computer terminal and ignore me. After at least another 10+ minutes, the closing clerks left the store seemingly ignoring me.The young clerk had to walk by me in order to get into a waiting car. As he walked near me I reported that the headlight he had just sold me did not fit.After I showed him both the old and the new headlight, and some discussion the more mature clerk with a white beard explained to the young clerk that the new headlight was indeed the wrong one. The older bearded clerk instructed me to come back tomorrow after 11:30am and he would refund my purchase.I was astonished at this instruction and exclaimed, are you serious . I added I came here to replace a headlight, you sold me the wrong one, and you are okay with me driving home with only one working headlight .That was the very thing that I wanted to avoid. It was clear that their primary concern was to go home and not for my safety.I stood there outside the store and refused to move. Finally, the bearded man instructed the younger clerk to go back inside and get the correct headlight. Both clerks showed obvious signs of resignation. Finally the young clerk emerged back outside with what seemed to be the correct headlight. Both quickly left without offering any assistance to me with the installation.After several tries I managed to get the replacement headlight partially installed and I proceeded home. What angers me is their total lack of respect and customer service. They both wanted to go home and disregard for my safety!

Experienced some battery trouble, unfortunately while the store didn t have my battery in-stock they gave great recommendations and suggested a store that had my specific battery if I wanted it ASAP. I retrieved the battery from the suggested store and ended up right back at the Federal Way location for help with the installation. I was helped by Barry and he was efficient and informative! From testing my battery to installing it, he was helpful in every step and even went further to explain things he noticed that I could keep in mind for the future. The process took less than 15 minutes and I d definitely return for future help if needed.

This is a good location. I made an online order, then got called away for work. I called the store and asked if they could keep it for a couple weeks. He said sure. I went to pick up my order and sure enough, they still had it. Very friendly, very quick.

Showed up right before closing time to purchase a car jack I'd found online they had on sale. Bryson(sp?) was awesome & helpful in finding exactly what I was looking for. When I realized I had the wrong card to make my purchase, he not only showed utmost customer service he was willing to stay open a few minutes late for me to run across to the ATM. Unfortunately said ATM was not reading my card (HomeStreet Bank - NEVER EVER do business with this heartless, jackass of a company for other reasons I shall not get into). I ran back across to see Bryson had pulled the item I was there to purchase & was ready to assist me in a quick & professional manner. When I told him what happened & apologized, he stated it wasn't a problem & they reopened at 7:30am the next day. He was professional & courteous through the entire ordeal, never rude or put out by the ordeal. For that reason, I will absolutely be back & thank Bryson for his kindness & Customer care that could have easily been an embarrassing situation.

This review is about a month late but better late than never. I can't remember the guy name but he was very helpful and offered to come outside and take a look at my Honda and gave me a little insight on what could be wrong with my a/c. Young guy, said he just started working there. He should definitely get a raise and a promotion. Thanks bro!

Went in for spark plugs and wires for my overseas import Suzuki. Not easy to find parts for a non USA model. Craig was able to get me back on the road no problem. Nice store. Bright and clean. Easy access from 99. Thanks for being there.

I stopped in here today after going to three other auto part places looking for some 5W40 oil. The guys were pleasant and took the time to show me all the oil choices they offered. I'll make the drive from Kent for great customer service.

The manager here christina isnt very customer service friendly and it shows. Seems like they hire workers that haven't worked on cars ever. They dont know what a cv axel is or a tie rod.

Do not order online, They cchargd my card twice and then when I returned the item because I would rather not do business with them, they only gave me half of the original price. What a complete opposite from my in store experience. Such a shock because I really thought highly of them. I will stick with the other guys.

Highly recommend advanced auto over the other automotive stores. As they carry in stock performance parts that are found on websites like summit racing, jegs ect....Very knowledgeable, professional and fast!Called ahead of time to have a Holley big boi red fuel pump placed on hold. Arrived and it was ready to pick up and be on my way.

Staff is friendly and helpful.Had parts i needed in stock and the staff helped with the rebates.Prices are reasonable and they have a better stock supply than certain competitors.

This is a really nice new store that was just built. The employees were very nice and helpful and the prices seem decent for an auto parts store. Very impressed and will be coming here if possible for my auto parts needs.

Very helpful staff. I broke down (from out of town) they helped me look for the part I ordered online for 10 minutes before I realized I was at advanced and not napa on the same road lol.

Great store almost has everything I need that I cant find at other auto parts stores, my issue is with an associate named Craig, I have had nothing but rude and condescending interactions with him. Be it over the phone or in person, it drastically taints my experience and I've stop going to theis store because of it.

I have been dealing with Advance Auto Parts for over 20 years, and they have never let me down. The military/veterans discount was greatly appreciated as well. Thanks for having the part I needed when I needed it.

Never in all of my 26 years of automotive experience have I had to deal with such unprofessionalism and lack of customer service.! Craig is the most sarcastic, condescending belittling person I've ever met. Everytime I go into advance auto parts its always something that I have to deal with that I shouldn't. Hes Always getting my order wrong, giving me the wrong parts, lieing to me because hes to lazy to check on things. He talks down to my wife when I'm not there, because she's a woman. Multiple times I have waited over 10 minutes just to get help because hes around the corner in the back probably avoiding customers. Look, if you dont like your job just quit. Your Terrible at it and are making people suffer for no reason.
