My car was towed into their unsecured lot for a diagnostic.No issues, they replaced the battery and changed the oil, but it all went south from there.The Lot is completely unsecured and at some point overnight, the vehicle next to mine was stolen. In the process of the theft my family van was severely damaged. The next morning I called to check in and was told about the incident.The way they chose to handle this situation is beyond all comprehension. I still haven't received a copy of the police report though I was handed a post it note with a incident report number on it. I asked what their plan was for my vehicle. There was literally thousands of dollars in body damage (see pictures)I was told the owner was out of town and would be in touch. Days later I received a text message from the owner stating that his insurance told him that he didn't need to cover it. That instead my insurance would cover it.My insurance company has already deemed them at fault and is going after them for it.My vehicle was in their shop, in their possession, on their lot when this happened. Unbelievable.Further Investigation they have a super cheap limited liability insurance policy which is bare bones required to operate.I'm now having to handle this through my insurance. They offered no discount for work that was done nor have they offered to make any effort to repair the damage to my vehicle or even at least pay my deductible to my insurance company. This is such a tremendously terrible way to operate a business. "Oh sorry, my insurance said your insurance will cover it .Thanks guys.

I ve had good experiences in the past. The owner s statement on the website was accurate in the past. Now things have changed unfortunately. I can t call in anymore. Texting is hit and miss. Scheduling is not as easy now. The prices were fair in the past but now they appear to be the same as other places from my experience and comparisons. I have recently found another mechanic that is similar to the past Spec Auto. So far so good.11/08/23.- The owners response is disappointing to say the least. I have tried to call and the call does not go through. It used to go through but not now. As far as pricing, I know the owner is not talking about me and being uncooperative. If so, where is the proof? I have been polite and courteous and friendly.I believe some business owners want more money so the prices go up and are not as reasonable as they were. I don t agree with the owners statement on the Top Spec Auto website.I received a quote from Top Spec Auto for $427 inc parts, labor, taxes, and fees. The mechanic auto shop that I go to now, gave me a quote of $361 for the same job inc parts, labor, taxes, and fees. I had no problems with contacting them and no problems with scheduling. They also provided a 1 year warranty on parts and labor. They were transparent with parts and showed how they were very good quality. They were polite and courteous and friendly.Look and shop around. There are good places out there to take your vehicle.

I ve been taking my car (Toyota Corolla) here for quite a while now for maintenance like oil change, brakes. Their rates are very reasonable, and they are knowledgeable and friendly. However, they are nearly impossible to reach by phone! No matter what time of day, if I call the phone just rings and rings, nobody to answer and no way to leave a message. So it s very hard to make an appointment or get a quote. This needs to be improved.

They are the most honest auto repair place that I have ever found. Chris is amazing. I'm not sure if they have any clue how good he is. He should really open his own shop or get a cut of the profits from these guys considering he is often the only mechanic. He is the soul of their business. (we aren't related or anything we have just been loyal customers but mainly because of him)

I usually take my car to the dealership but they wanted to charge me $200 for a full inspection before even doing any work even though I told them what I wanted fixed, they wouldn't even quote me first. I came to this shop to see why my check engine light came on. They connected it to the computer reader. They did the work a few weeks later and the problem was solved for just a little over what the dealership wanted to charge just to look at it. I love the way this place does business. I've heard countless other people recommend this place and they definitely live up to their reputation. I am definitely coming back here to get all my future work done.

We took our older Hyundai in. It had to be towed because it would not run. It was quickly diagnosed as needing the alternator replaced. We were able to pick it up the next day and it s running well. Thank you for the fast hassle free experience!

Quality cars, bought my 04 wrx sti here in 2017. Still have it in 2020 and it has yet to have any problems. They do free oil changes and service with car purchase.

They did an excellent job with the rebuild of my engine on my 2012 WRX. Very knowledgeable, were able to explain what went wrong and how to prevent it from happening again and made some good recommendations. Cost wise, they were still less expensive than taking it to a Subaru dealership, but still a good chunk of change. So guys think twice when adding parts to your car or using OTS tunes, I learned my lesson get pro-tuned. So that this doesn't happen to you, but when you do blow your engine Top Spec are the guys for the job. Thanks Chris, TC, and Raymond you guys are wonderful!!

Prices are very fair, mechanic seems very capable and knowledgeable, they've always serviced my cars per appointments, and even have fit me in to their schedule when I had a time crunch. Chris is the Best technician in the PNW! No up-sale, hidden costs and if I didn t need the service Chris would never recommend it. Initially I went to other places and dealerships and compared them to what Top Spec would recommend. I ve never been disappointed. In the 3+ years and several different vehicles I only trust them to Chris and Top Spec Auto!! A genuine, and friendly auto shop! Chris was very personable, and checked out my brakes. The whole time I was chatting with him, and curiously observing. The brake pads still had about 50% life left, so he suggested waiting on replacing them. He's a very honest, and transparent mechanic which I appreciate. The folks over there even shared some of their BBQ, since they were grilling! I will absolutely return here in the future!

Omgsh. Very honest people and do a great job. I can't recommend them enough. Please call thel if you have car probs. I went to a diff mechanic and he was ready to charge me diagnostic fee and all that. They just checked and it wasnt anything big. Just didnt close my gas tank properly after filling up gas. So my mercedees was giving me tge check engine sign. The young man reset check engibe sign and told me the problem without charging me. Very honest people.

If you've been putting of something for a while, put it to rest and go here. Fair pricing and Chris THE mechanic knows his stuff. I took my car in to get a couple leaks taken care of and they let me know couple other issues with the car and gave me a quote on those too. With the repairs on my car Chris ran in to a couple unforeseen issues which made it take some extra time and didnt charge me extra. Very fair amount of time regardless. If there are any bad reviews, I'm sure communication would've helped the situation and I'm sure they would do all they can to make it right. I trust this shop.

They offer affordable and professional service.I went in for an oil change because I try to avoid those quick oil change places (who may damage your oil drain plugs), and the dealer (who typically overcharges). Everything was hand done carefully, and very friendly too.I highly recommend these guys for your auto repair/maintenance needs.

Great and honest work always. I have had them work on seven different issues with two different cars and the service and price are always great. Chris and crew rocks. I wholeheartedly recommend Topspec as an honest, top flight mechanic shop.

I go here regularly for my oil changes. Chris is great with customers and goes out of his way to make sure everything is done right. He s also installed an aftermarket intake, exhaust, and bypass valve for me as well as performed leak tests when needed. Great prices as well.

I took my car in to get an estimate for a maintenance service and they did a diagnostic check and estimate for free! Their estimate was a fair price so I decided to schedule an appointment. They said they could even get it done the same day, which was super convenient for me! I would recommend this place because they treated me very professionally and didn't try to sell me anything that my car didn't actually need. I'll be going to them again in the future!

Drive all the way from Port orchard to this place march 26 and had my Kia Rondo checked. Found out that Serpentine belt and harmonic balancer needs to be replace. Take note they didn't charge me anything when they took the car in for a check up. The owner i forgot his name was very very helpful and nice same as Chris the mechanic. i came in early and had me comeback an hour after to have the vehicle check because i didn't have an appt. This place made me feel comfortable and welcome just like coming in into one of those places and leave worry free. Just moved to everett Found my self a friendly honest Auto Shop 10 **********sService: General repairs & maintenance

You guys are AWESOME! You recently did an engine swap on my best friend's Lexus GS400. Your honesty, speed, competency and knowledge are without comparison. I will recommend you to all friends, family and random strangers! My mom referred him to you guys and it was one of the best decisions he's ever made. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Top spec is top notch! More than reasonable pricing, respectable business approach, and incredible staff. Shout out specifically to Chris who helped me with my car problems right after my wedding! He went above and beyond to make sure I drove off with a car that was in great shape :D I will absolutely return in the future if I'm having issues with my car again.

These guys are so easy-going and wonderful! They were completely honest with me, without pressuring me or taking advantage of my lack of car expertise, and gave me important information about an issue with my car (a dent in the front from a long time ago that had damaged components of the interior as well) that no other mechanic had bothered to share with me before. On top of it, they were incredibly fair in their pricing, and stuck to their estimate even though the work on my car took longer than expected due to problems associated with the dent. They also work FAST! The first repair I needed (small ignition problem) took barely half an hour and the second, larger repair (radiator replacement), only a morning. I will be recommending them to anyone looking for car help in the future!
