If I could give them lower than a 1, I would. Took my BMW to them to replace the headlight and fix an oil leak. Was quoted $3,000 to replace the headlight assembly and $3,300 for the oil leak. Leak was due to a gasket that had to be replaced. The headlight needed an entire assembly and not just a bulb. I took my car to another repair place that changed the gasket for a total of $1250. They also told me that I could look on ebay to get a headlight assembly for a lot less and they'd be happy to install it for $300. Conaway has always over-charged for their services and I'm glad that I've found another reputable repair place that does great work for more reasonable prices. They also have great customer service.

A huge thanks to this shop for saving our high mileage car (150,000+) after a long, fruitless search for a replacement. Gave them a list of issues, they came back w/ a detailed written estimate & time frame for the repairs. Went in for surgery 11/27 & due to part problem picked up 12/5. It s been a month, so far so good. All it s problems seem resolved & hums along.

Conaway always has our best interest in mind. My salvaged hippie beetle is a pain sometimes, but they treat her with utmost care. Whatever me and my fiance can't fix, Conaway is our first call. They gained our service after another shop price gouged us and kept recommending things it didn't need or couldn't figure things out. We're knowledgeable enough to handle most things, and Conaway is always there to help with the rest. If you need an honest and reliable shop, come here!

Conway did a great job with my Toyota truck. They were polite, responsive, flexible, and overall professional. I needed four different things done. I got quotes from specialist shops that are usually cheaper but Conway's price was the same or better. Nice to get all that work done at one time and in one place. Everything was done right the first time and my truck runs much better. They also correctly diagnosed an issue that another shop failed at.

My 1972 Beetle had a brake issue. When I checked the fluid reservoir it was losing brake fluid. I was able to bring my car in on Monday. In the afternoon Conaway called with a parts and completion estimate for replacement of my master cylinder. By Tuesday evening the work was done and I was able to drive home. The cost was close to the estimate and the mechanic who did the work explained it to me as he was doing it. I was able to see the master cylinder location as well as the old culprit. The work was done correctly the first time.

Prior coming to Conaway I had a terrible experience getting some repairs done on my car, it was running worse and I was worried it wasn t going to be able to be fixed. Logan and Sam were both patient and helpful getting my car in for an appointment quickly knowing it was an issue with my transmission. The mechanics were able to diagnose the problems and fix them in a few days. That was many years ago and I ve been bringing my car to them since. Eric is the primary mechanic who works on my car and he explains everything I need to know about what s going on with my car, it s an old quirky car so it needs good TLC periodically. I trust their work and know I m not getting the run around like I have in the past at other places. I recommend Conaway to my friends and anyone looking for a mechanic. CHEATS!!!! I know why it's called Conaway motors, it's con you their way... I was quoted a verbal quote, which I already thought was high. Then when I went to pay, it was 600 more then discussed. They had to take parts out as it wasn't authorize. DONT GO HERE, THEY ARE CHEATS. Charged way more for parts, I checked they didn't cost as high as charged. labor was half my bill, For a windshield wiper motor replacement way overcharged very disappointing and will be calling better business line to report their swindling.

Took it to the shop for a timing chain guide replacement. They replaced the guide then told me I needed a new engine at $10,000! Despite this, I was able to drive the car home. I needed a second opinion.I took my car to Snohomish European Auto Service in Snohomish. They took only a couple of hours to diagnose something Conaway should have seen when they replaced the guide. For sixteen year we have been using the fine mechanics here. Today I have an issue with my truck. They have worked on my truck for 12 years now. The man that answers the phone says the owner she just doesn t want to see trucks anymore . WHAT? 16 years! And tough luck. No more business from me, my family or anyone I can reach on the internet. The call was oct 03 at approx 11:50. I ll post when I find a quality replacement operation. Poor customer service and no retention.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I took my 2006 Porsche Boxster for a transmission fluid change and rear axle seal change. They had trouble getting the axle seal part which I understand. The problem I had with this place was the communication. They kept telling me they found other things wrong but wouldn t tell me until the other services had been performed. I was out of town for a week and was told that the part was going to be in and I should be able to pick up my car the following Monday. I heard nothing that week. No updates, nothing. I called on Monday and they had just received the axle seal but hadn t installed it. Fine. I was told it would be able to be picked up on Tuesday. I called on Tuesday and they said they needed to take it for a drive and should have it done by noon. Got a call at noon that the still hadn t taken it out for a drive and that I needed a coolant flush because my coolant had zero protection. I know for a fact that isn t the case (see pictures). My coolant might not be 100% but it s not zero protection. When I asked how much the coolant change would be he said he didn t know. Seriously guys??? You should be able to estimate a regular maintenance item off the top of your head. Every other shop I ve gone to has clear pricing and is transparent. This place felt sketchy and this will be the first and last time that I use them. I only used them because my car wouldn t shift right and I towed it to their shop. I usually take it to the dealer and will be doing that from now on. They have a ton of cars and seem overbooked and my service took 2.5 weeks. Work on your communication with its customers and be transparent. Giving two stars because they did what I asked them. $1200 for transmission fluid change and a rear axle seal.Service: Transmission

I appreciate they way these guys do business. I took my car in for a tune up and the price was far more reasonable compared to other quotes I had gotten. They had my car ready to be picked up in just a few short hours. My second experience was even more satisfying. My check engine light came on just after my warranty expired (go figure) and my heater stopped producing heat. I took it to Conaway and they let me know it was related to my heater core, which we all know is not cheap to repair. They offered me a less expensive alternative for less than replacing my heater core. All that being said I highly recommend taking your business to Conaway Motors. Reasonable pricing, timely, great customer service.Sincerely,Very satisfied customer

I had an appointment scheduled about 6 days since I put my 528i in their shop, but surprisingly they took care of the issue 5 days early. Had some starting issues and wasn t able to start it at all. Great people and great FAST service. Highly recommend! Thanks Conoway Motors!!

Shout out to Conaway Motors. They have been my go-to garage since I moved to Everett. When I called them to ask if they could do something the the hyper extended doors my daughter managed to do when there was an unfortunate wind gust as she and a friend opened them. The owner answered the phone(which is unusual), I explained what happened and he said bring it by and he'd have a look at it. Drop it off the next day. I don't hear back from them(which is also unusual, they always give a quote). Wait another day and I call them, manager tells me the owners been working on it but doesn't have an estimate (again this is odd). Call back the next day and am told the van is ready by the manager. Ask how much and manager says well owner probably spent more hours on it than I would like, but he's not here. I don't think they charged me for all the time spent on it but they got my daughters van back on the road and made a Dad very happy. They have always done good work for us and think they went an extra mile for us this time. Can't thank them enough.

I needed a regular oil change and have a complex oil filter system so I knew I should take my car in. Someone recommended Conoway Motors to me so I decided, why not? Oil change went well and reasonable pricing too. But I noticed a big oil leak a couple hours after the change and worsened the next day. We called them back and let them know what was happening; they sent a mechanic out to my school and worked on my car in the school parking lot to fix the problem and replace the part free of charge. Highly recommend!! Great customer service and knowledgeable!

Good knowledgeable, friendly, helpful staff. I had my Porsche Cayenne worked on here. They were very honest about the condition of the vehicle and the repairs needed. They didn't try to charge me for things I didn't need. Repairs were completed in a timely manner.

I will not recommend this shopThey charged 300$ for a simple fix to tighten the couple screws of headlightThey initially claimed it s a software issue but they agreed later it s notHow come they can t understand simple flicking of light bulb is due to loose hardware not softwareThey are also bad in understanding customer situation. We forgot to take out the house key from car and realized later in evening at 6pm. We came back to store. Couple workers were sitting at front desk but did not want to open the door or even answer our call to find out why we are standing outside. They were looking at us from the glass window but have no courtesy to answer the call or open the door.I will never go back!!!

Very professional and honest. I have brought my car here a few times.2009 BMW. Excellent customer service and get you in quickly. Great pricing and dont try to sell you stuff you dont need. I will definitely be taking my car there again! UPDATE just took my car there again same great customer service fixed my issue right away and had my car back the same day. These guys are amazing!My Mercedes-Benz C-class died on the side of i5 last week and the tow truck driver suggested that I have it taken to Conaway. This was late on Friday night, and since they're not open on the weekends, I assumed I wouldn't be getting the car back until later the next week... Mark called me first thing Monday morning and told me that they had already diagnosed the problem, and that it would be ready by Tuesday morning. I couldn't believe it! To make things even better, he called me back Monday afternoon and told me that the car was ready if I wanted to come pick it up!I live in Seattle, but I will definitely be driving back up to Everett for these guys....Super friendly, fast, honest, and very fairly priced!Thank you guys all for getting me out of a bind so quickly! and for not taking an arm and a leg for doing so....-Alex

They did nothing and returned my car damaged, went in because I was having electrical issues. They forgot to schedule a second appointment, did not fix my car on that appointment, and never called me back. When I got my car back, the front window was cracked, and upon starting the work my self, I ve found that the bolt for the positive lead is A, completely stripped, and B, was tightened down so hard that it has actually damaged the connector(don t know the right term). The entire experience cost me time and money for absolutely nothing but more problems to fix.

Rude and unprofessional individual at the front office. He overpowers you by his Pitbull behavior and then hangs up by slamming the phone down. This was my experience with Conaway Motors shop on 11/21/22 which caused me to cancel my appointment.
