I had my car on a tow truck with no clue where I needed to go. The tow truck driver recommended Automotive Unlimited so that's how I ended up finding them. Automotive Unlimited took me in on super short notice, got it all figured out, and fixed the alternator / battery extremely quickly. I HIGHLY appreciate Ben and all the other people doing a great job and for the excellent customer service and kindness. I will definitely be returning in the future and recommending them.

Not the first time I've been to this shop, but it was the first time with this vehicle. Brought it in on Tuesday night for service on Wednesday, it was making a weird noise when turning the wheel, Britt went above and beyond to find the problem. Vehicle repaired and returned in a very timely fashion at a reasonable price. Will definitely be back for any other repairs that may be needed on both of my vehicles. Thanks again!!!

So, first off, these guys are amazing! They are approachable, communicative, and straightforward. When you ask a question, they don't try to mansplain - which is refreshing. I typically take my car to the dealership for all repairs, but the advisor I had was not getting back to me and I would not be able to get in until the end of March - per the scheduler. Brakes don't wait that long! My friend has gone to these guys for quite a while and highly recommended them. So, I decided to give them a try. Of course, as is my luck these last few months, it was not an easy, in and out job. They had to look for the right rotors - or rotors that would work - because the manufacturer does not make the rotors that fit my vehicle anymore. Also, what started out to be just rear brakes, turned into rear AND front brakes. BUT, they kept me informed with every change and addition along the way and did not proceed until I gave them approval. One thing I really appreciated is that they brought out the rotors, the old and the new one to show me the difference between what I had and what the manufacturer makes now, and it definitely is very different. They also showed me why the front rotors needed to be replaced and the grooves that were making that awful grinding and squealing noise. To me that shows incredible integrity and trustworthiness. I have not had any mechanic do that since the early to mid-eighties, when I would go to our family's mechanic with my dad - it brought back great memories. This may sound odd, but the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable, and you know that smell when you walk into a garage? It was there and it took me back to when I would work on cars with my dad and uncles. I immediately felt that I could trust them. It was nice to see that when other customers walked in to either drop off or pick up their vehicle, they greeted them by their names when they walked in - it was like a family atmosphere. It was great to see that, especially in a world that is so inundated with social media, texting and not as much personal interaction or conversation. I will also say that their prices are very reasonable, and they break down everything on the invoice/receipt you get. I asked them for a quote on my 60,000 service and it was less than 1/3 of the quote I got from the dealership - and they explained what the price would be based on the manufacturer's recommendations. They also suggested what they would do at that time that is usually done at 100,000 and why they would do it, based on their experience. It is that type of transparency that you do not find very often. I live in North Seattle but will most definitely be going to them in the future. The little bit of extra drive will be worth it. If anyone made it this far in the review, you have probably guessed that I highly recommend them - they know what they are doing and will treat you right! When you schedule your next service or repair with them, you won't be disappointed. Their expertise, knowledge and professionalism are second to none.

This shop is great! The owner Ben is always very polite and helpful! Derek replaced my bumper cover and headlights, he also installed my dash cam. Very quick and reliable

Integrity! Probably the most important thing that we would want from a automotive repair shop. If you're lucky enough to find automotive unlimited. You've found a shop With integrity! I have A long track record of Automotive Repairs Completed by Ben and his staff. Repairs have always been made in a timely fashion, at a fair value. If you're looking For value and integrity try automotive unlimited.

So we got our house keys dropped inside a hole in the handrest of a car which we had rented obviously unaware of the hole present. We were in a lot of trouble, tried all possible ways ourselves to get hold of those keys but all pain in vain. While heading towards our home we saw this shop and tried our luck to give it a last chance. It was almost closing time we went to the shop, explained them the situation, the gentleman was really generous enough to give it a quick try with a long magnet and it worked. He offered us to help for free which is so rare nowadays to find someone who genuinely wants to help ppl. Quick, efficient and great service. Please do visit if you need any auto repair!!!!

Awsome shop always Clean and friendly and most importantly Honest. The Staff is very knowledgeable also. It's nice to Have a mechanic you can Trust. Best shop I've ever been to. I would give 6 stars if i could, Once again they come through. These guys are the Best. No doubt about it

I just had a complete engine rebuild done in my 2016 Subaru STI by Automotive Unlimited and I couldn t be happier with the outcome. The quality of work exceeded my expectations. They torqued everything to specification (even the spark plugs!), their attention to detail was above and beyond (they didn t miss one step), and the finished product is cosmetically appealing. Throughout the build process, not only did they frequently update me on the work, but Ben and Britt took the time to explain the process along the way. I learned so much. Integrity is a high value at Automotive Unlimited. They were honest and upfront throughout the whole process, which was important to me as a customer.For such a high caliber project, I am grateful for the knowledge base and expertise that Automotive Unlimited employees have. I am grateful to know that there is a local shop that I can go to for any automotive need, and trust that the craftsmanship will be outstanding. I've had bad experiences with so many auto shops, it's relieving to have finally found a place I can trust. The folks at Automotive Unlimited are great, they complete the work in a timely manner, they are upfront and honest about cost and what they can do in-house,, even going so far as to occasionally recommend I go directly to another shop to save on cost for something they would need to send out, this speaks volumes to their integrity and earns my trust. They really seem to care about doing right by their customers, super cool to see.I have had two of my vehicles serviced here now, about 5 or 6 times in total over several months for various things, and Automotive Unlimited has been great. Ben and Britt are running an AWESOME shop!! I work on my older Ford Ranger constantly. However there have been jobs I cannot do and definitely not able to do in my dormitory parking lot.Ben, Britt and team have helped provide accurate diagnosis. They are skilled, knowledgeable, super nice people, and have competitive prices. The shop is clean with lots of great equipment. If I cannot do the job myself, I never hesitate to call Automotive Unlimited. I think we all have worries about how trustworthy mechanics are. I have been going here for years and trust Ben, the owner, to never try to squeeze an extra dollar out of me. He is professionally trained and educated so he always does the job right, as well. When I'm on a budget he gives me multiple price points and his professional opinion on the pros/cons of each. With every oil change they throw in a free shoulder massage, you just have to ask for it. So if your car is leaking and your shoulders are creaking, this is the place for you. Ben and his technicians have worked on several of our cars. We have always found them professional, reliable, and friendly. The shop is clean and it is clear that the team takes pride in their work. Most recently, Ben evaluated a used car we were looking at purchasing for our son. Ben was able to work us into his schedule and gave us solid advice about negotiating the price as well as piece of mind that the car was an appropriate match for our son's needs. Ben and his team are highly skilled and we definitely trust them with any of our automotive needs.

This is the only auto shop I will take my vehicles to. I have recommended them to several family and friends and they are always impressed. The owner, Ben is incredibly hands on, professional, and courteous. Service is always fast, friendly, and done well. Before purchasing my newest vehicle, I brought it by for a pre-sale inspection. The report was good and I have had zero issues with the car. I am grateful to Ben for being in the area and for running a great shop. His prices always feel fair and I have had a very positive experience every time I ve left my car with him. I ve always felt like they do a great job at telling me exactly what was wrong and also what I need to fix now vs. what I can hold off on until later. Thanks Ben!

I emailed a handful of state authorized emissions repair shops on a Sunday through Yelp. Two hours later, the owner of Automotive Unlimited, Benjamin, responded to me on his only day off. After a few emails back and forth, I had an appointment set up for 48 hours later.When I arrived, the entire staff was busy with vehicles in every bay. The shop was clean and organized, mechanics were smiling and friendly to me and to one another. The waiting room felt more like sitting in a friend's living room, watching a big screen TV. In the hour and a half I was there, I received four updates on the status of the diagnostics being done.I had the pleasure of overhearing Benjamin call several customers to inform them of diagnostic results and discuss repair options that would fit their budgets and schedules. Each call sounded as though he was chatting with a long-time friend. I witnessed an employee honestly tell a walk-in customer that it would be quicker and probably less expensive to go to elsewhere for an oil change, and also suggested a place he trusts to them! Benjamin clearly leads his staff by example, treating employees and customers alike with utmost respect.While I'm not thrilled at $1,500 in repairs, I do feel confident that only necessary repairs will be madewithout padding the bill with insane price markups, or a bunch of bogus charges. I don't mind paying honest people to do that which I cannot, helping them to provide for their families. I even had the pleasure of briefly meeting an employee's son, and deeply respect that he was welcomed into the garage to be with his dad after school rather than in a childcare center, at home alone, or out and about getting into trouble with his friends.

I was looking to buy a car in the area and needed someone to do a pre-purchase inspection. Everywhere was completely booked, but Ben worked with me and fit the inspection in. This was very helpful. The technicians found issues on the car that enabled me to haggle the price and also understand what I was getting myself into with the possible purchase. I live in Minnesota and was looking at a used car in Everett. I worked with Ben at Automotive Unlimited to do an inspection, and he went above and beyond with his help in making a decision! I felt like I could really trust his information and opinion. Doing this process from a distance and trying to decide on a car sight-unseen is intimidating, and Automotive Unlimited was incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend them for any and all work!!

I called in about my car door not latching shut and was immediately asked if I'd was driving a Ford which I was and they just let me know to have it defrost for a bit instead of having me come in and charging me to look at it They were right of course and my door latch shut after defrosting for about 30 minutes in my car. In my experience professionals who are transparent like that offer the best work at a reasonable price.

As usual, I had a great experience at automotive unlimited. When there was a persistent squeal after replacing my brake pads and rotors, Ben and the team happily took the car back and worked to find the solution. Now, no brake noise. I appreciate the excellent service and the extra time they took to make sure everything was right.

Cant recommend them enough. Had a ball joint break on me on my driver's side, and tow truck recommended these guys, and so glad he did.They had me fixed and on the road within days, when i was preparing for the worst. I took my truck in with a funky noise coming from the front end. Britt (hopefully spelled it right) at the front counter was super helpful. Their approach to it was impressive, without going through all the details, they took their time checking, and finding the cause (which other shops couldn't). While doing so he found a couple items that needed attention with the suspension & brakes. At the end of the day great service and quality work - I will be returning for any future service to my vehicles and highly recommend this shop!Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment

Will never take my car anywhere else. Ben and his team are amazing. Good, honest, and trustworthy mechanics. Brandon went above and beyond the call of duty (stayed till 9:00 on a Friday night) to get my new engine installed, knowing I needed my car back as soon as possible. I highly recommend this place!!

An honest mechanic is always worth their weight in gold. That said, Ben and the staff at Automotive Unlimited deserve all the praise they get for their dependability, reliability, and of course, honesty. I brought my car in thinking I only had one mechanical problem, but the team discovered I had so many that my car was not worth repairing. A less scrupulous mechanic would try to fleece me for every dollar for repairs, but these guys told me it was better to just get a new car and didn't even charge me for the assessment.That's the kind of dedication to customer service that keeps people coming back. And I will definitely be seeing these guys in the future.

Automotive Unlimited is the best mechanic I have used. Ben and his staff are honest and they back their work. The shop and waiting area is clean and we'll maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful.Definitely call and make an appointment, they have a dedicated customer base that will only take their cars here.We recently move South of Seattle for work, and the two things my wife and I miss the most from our former neighborhood is Automotive Unlimited and our favorite Mexican restaurant La Palmera. I am very much considering still taking my car up to Automotive Unlimited for any service more than an oil change despite the hour drive each way. The work they do is well worth the drive. I can't recommend them enough.

I very highly recommend Automotive Unlimited. As a single, senior female honesty is every bit as important as the quality of the work. I have had both of my vehicles under the care of Ben and his team and have never been taken advantage of either price-wise or with unnecessary work. I have also never had to return a vehicle to them because the work wasn't done correctly. Great place to do business.

I am always cautious when I need an auto repair. After calling around to speak with different local shops I decided on Automotive Unlimited. After speaking with Ben I felt confident that I would be treated as a person and be given the truth. That is exactly what happened! They are honest, professional, fair and extremely kind. My AC was out on my truck & I fully expected to get a quote of at least $1,000. Instead, to my surprise, they found that one of the valves was broken. They took the time to carefully extract the broken piece out, replace it and fix my AC which saved me a ton of money! I had all of the work done for less than I expected my AC to be! I will be bringing my vehicles to them from here on out & also will be referring all of my friends to them! In my opinion they are the best around!!
