We've always only had good experiences here. Bought our 2021 4Runner Trail Special Edition and have gone here for all maintenance. Friendly staff and efficient service.

Very friendly and knowledgeable team, shout out to Emily for outstanding customer service. I have been servicing my car at this location for over 4 years now and every time I know what to expect and never got surprised. Also to mention clean and welcoming waiting room.

Why do we not have negative stars? I had an oil change appointment and was told it would take 1-1.5 hours. an hour 45 minutes later I asked and was told it would take about 45 minutes???? and hour later I was directed to the express payment counter and after payment they said the technician had take the truck for a test drive and would be back in 10 minutes!!!! I asked to talk to a manager or supervisor and was told he would be out in a second. 10 minutes later No Manager and since my truck had just been brought to me I left. I am happy to say I am NEVER going back there.

I regret my decision to wait at the dealership for my car s maintenance to be completed. I regret permitting Swickard Toyota to perform the maintenance on my car. Here s why.The expectation was set: my car s maintenance should take about two hours, I was told. The front brakes on my Camry were due for a change. No problem, I thought to myself. When my timer went off, I patiently awaited an update but one didn t come until 50 minutes later. I was to inform that further maintenance was required on my car. Two rear rotors were due for a change. Would take about another hour, I was told. No problem. After that time, I was tired after four hours of being in the dealership and was ready to leave but my car was still apparently not ready. I had even paid the sum due but was not handed my key.Apparently, after an initial test drive by an employee my car was deemed fit to drive. But after a separate test drive by a different employee he disagreed and felt that some work had to be redone. For my safety, I m grateful for that second opinion because how can one employee believe that the job is completed when there is evidently work undone? How can a trained employee think an evidently unsafe car is safe to drive when it s actually not? How do you come to that conclusion when a colleague can disagree on the matter and lift it for another look? The safety and drivability of a car should NOT be subjective.Ultimately, it was that lack of attention to the safety of my car and the unprofessionalism of setting the very inaccurate expectation of time that frustrated the hell out of me. My appointment was scheduled at 1:00pm. I was expected to be gone by 4:00pm. I didn t leave until 5:30pm. I stood around and waited 30 minutes to be handed my key and that after I already paid for the service. Don t know if I will be returning my business to Swickard Toyota. Just a bad experience overall.

I had the best possible buying experience one could have, especially buying in this market. Tom Hu dealt very honestly with me from the beginning, and this is ultimately the reason, after having contacted and visited a number of other dealerships in the surrounding area, that I was sure to come here, and buy from him. Not only did he helped me find the right car for the best possible price in this current purchasing climate, and with better delivery times than I was expecting, he also gave me sound insight that kept me from walking into a situation of being taken advantage of at another dealership. Once the car arrived, he took great care to get everything from the paperwork to the vehicle ready really nicely. I couldn t have been in better, and more trustworthy hands, and I appreciate Tom s honest and upfront approach. That there were no shady shenanigans, made it possible for me to decide for myself, which was the right car for me, and where (this dealership) should be the place to buy from. I ve always been taken care of well here. Thank you, and especially to Tom for making this me buying experience a good one!

I called to schedule an appointment to look at a recall that I was sent a letter for regarding Roof Rail Water Leaks on the 2019 RAV4. I was told that it did not show up when they put in my information and that I would just have to wait (parts were probably not ready by Toyota to install blah blah blah, nothing they can do call back in a month). I ended up calling Kirkland Toyota just to double and not only did it show up, but they were aware of the issue and were able to schedule me in quickly. I bought 2 cars but I m done with this place, good riddance

The changeover from Magic Toyota to Swicard Toyota happened so quietly that I only discovered it by driving past the dealership and finding the Magic name gone. Nevertheless, the new ownership has the same friendly tone. The efficiency and and speed of their service remains high. I'm on my second car from the dealership so I'm a happy customer. FYI, the Swickard organization owns 43 car dealerships (the last time I checked).

Very poor time frame. They say 11/2 hour and after 2 hours also of wait it was not taken care of. The service department is very unfriendly. The hub cap was not put properly and went flying on the freeway still they didn t acknowledge my concern. And kept pushing it to take care of it in the next service

I've been here several times for service. What I've noticed:The quality of work is good. They do work hard to investigate and fix problems. The quality of the service is lacking. They overbook their appointment schedule, meaning that when I recently came in with an appointment, I was not even acknowledged for quite some time, and then told it would be an hour and a half for what was not a complicated job. I was told they would have to pull someone off another job. If there was no one available, don't make that appointment available! I'm ok with waiting another day if I can actually make it work with my schedule. I get that not everything goes to plan, but this has been a very consistent problem, and other industries seem to be capable of solving this very basic scheduling problem.I have also consistently noted that the checkin process is slow and ambiguous. I drive up, there are numerous associates hanging around, and no one even acknowledges my existence for 17 minutes. I swear, it was like every single person avoided eye contact. I've been in several customer service jobs, and it's on day one of the training: even if you're busy, or on the phone, when a new customer comes in, you greet them and quickly apologize for the delay before finishing whatever you are doing. This has happened every time. There are no signs or other information to tell you where to go to check in. There is no "front desk" or dedicated staff to guide you through check in. I have not experienced this at other service departments.I would also have to describe most (though not all) of the service staff as brusque, at a minumum, or surly at worst. I get that mechanics don't necessarily do this job for the interpersonal aspect, but it's part of the job. Even if you're having a rough day, politeness always counts. This, combined with their not atypical high-pressure sales tactics, means I will avoid them for my next car purchase.

Bad customer service and doesn t honor promises. Bought a car from Swickard (sales person Katelyn) about two months ago. For starters it was a miserable all day experience, we had to wait hours for someone to do the paperwork with us after deciding which car to buy. Didn t seem like the valued our time. Little did we know things would get worse from there. Within the first few days of bringing the car home the battery died. They told us to replace the battery ourselves, and to send a receipt and they would reimburse us for the battery. So we did just that. Replaced the battery and sent over the receipt from buying the battery. I ve called, and been promised a check is coming numerous times, and still don t have a check. We have also found a couple of things that are wrong with this car that were not disclosed when we bought it. I expected better from a Toyota dealership (why we bought from a Toyota dealership). Would not recommend buying from them.

Horrible costumer service. Couldn t find my car during service pick up and was rude about it. Told me I needed an alignment but couldn t explain to me why. Bought my car here and had a good experience but the service area has been horrible all 3 times I ve gone. Will be going somewhere else for any services needed.

I had an oil change here and I don t plan to return. I had an appointment but it still took a very long time to get helped. They seemed packed like they scheduled too many people at once. The receptionist lady who helped me was great. You could tell she was working hard. I think her name was Courtney. She was shorter with long brown hair. When my car was finally done, it was making loud rattling noises. I had to wait even longer to make sure the tech looked it over again it s as if they didn t even check their work before giving my car back. They didn t even replace my cabin air filter like I asked or clean it like they said because it had been pulled out and put back in upside down so that all the tree debris fell into my fan and was rattling. Thankfully a guy came by and fixed it but it was a huge nuisance. It seems they are overworked or short-staffed or careless. Either way, I d rather go somewhere else in the future.

Came in for what I was worried was going to be a major repair on my wife's car. They quickly found the issue and charged less than the repair quote.

They have been quite inconsistent with the service communication of my car. It appears that they are trying to avoid Toyota service and charge me outside of it.

The service department is effecient and well educated, one of the very few places that work on my wife's RAV. Free wifi , TV's, and snacks/drinks available.

If I could give zero stars, I would. First of all the price for an oil change has doubled likely due to lack of car, sales and services running their business. However, in discussing this and asking why topping off my washer fluid cost over $10. I was told everything is more expensive now with the cost of gas. I even had a $20 coupon that they sent me to get me in the door. I will never step foot in that service department again and I will certainly not be trading in my car or working with this company at all. I can t even believe how rudely I was just spoken to when asking questions about, an oil change being $120 with a $20 coupon. Bye Sickward Toyota!Service: Oil change

*update* The GM reached out and seemed like a genuinely nice person. Apologized for the experience and is trying to make it right. We will see how things go on our mext visit but i upgraded them to 3 stars. Original review: Ugh. Where to begin. Just avoid this place. Managers don't care to fix anything, the service department is beyond disorganized. Misogyny everywhere. Especially if you are a woman by herself they will treat you like trash. We went there a couple years ago and everything was fine. It took multiple visits to get a recall done when we complained we didn't even get an apology. Despite all the issues not only did we not get an apology we ended up having to pay $89 for an oil change?!Service: Oil change

I was calling the service team for more than two hours and every time they transfer me from line to another to get the answer regarding shipment.Unfortunately, the lady (Lynn) that I talked to her when I was there she said I will talk with you when I order it but she did not do that.

Been going here for years. High quality service for a reasonable price. Lost a couple of stars because you need to be... patient. Today (a Wednesday), with an appointment, it took more than 2.5 hours for a run-of-the-mill oil change (and they see no problem with that timeline).

Took my Yaris to Buckey's, and it broke down within days. Took it to Swickard (While they were doing a remodel) and they fixed everything and got it in better running condition due to their senior mechanic's expertise.

Extremely impolite and unprofessional service team you can ever encounter. Took my 2020 Camry Hybrid with less than 21k miles for check engine alert. I was told since the windshield was replaced the vehicle diagnostic run has to be performed for $350. I declined the service and requested for the regular oil filter service. I was made to wait for over 3 hrs and later came to know vehicle never made through service bay as service rep Brandon left the RO unattended intentionally or unintentionally and was gone for the day. Whilst this was being addressed with Assistant service manager on duty I was told if I need to take my car away or get it done without a single word on inconvenience I experienced and 3 hrs of wait time. Please train your staff to be courteous if not more.Updated on 07/19/2022:Since I had a maintenance contract I had to return to dealership for keeping up with my services. Now, the business is sold or obtained by Swickard group, there level of customer satisfaction is sky way way better or I should say excellent.Totally different vibe as you walk in. Vehicle hand off to return is extremely professional which puts my faith back and I would definitely be returning for my future service intervals. Ratings revised.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

It's a good place to have updates & routine care for your cars. The waiting room is spacious & open with seating spaced without feeling too cramped. There's seating outside as well! But don't get too comfortable, your car is ready!!
