Fantastic small town mechanics shop! I recently have been having a string of issues and they have gone above and beyond for me. From driving me home and picking me up to the diagnosis and fixes I needed and it didn t break the bank. I will use Sculley s forever. Great crew that you can tell enjoys working together. Kevin has helped me through warranty info and getting a plan set up! Huge help

Very friendly staff & they do great work. They diagnosed & repaired my 2018 Silverado in one day and they advocated for me when my warranty initially wouldn't cover the repair. They are great guys and I will continue to bring all my vehicles here.

The works good. But the 2 guys at the desk are just rude. Multiple times rude. I wondered if it was me but while sitting in the waiting area, I saw an older (80's) guy come in....same treatment. "Ubrupt. Closed off. Don't want to talk" type feeling. So. I just go somewhere else. Not that I expect to be catered or listened to....but connection and rapport builds trust and business. As an example, the guy was on the phone while I stood there. He got off the phone and didn't acknowledge me for almost 5 minutes. He was looking at his computer. I eventually said "hey I was ewondrring_______" and he answered me right away. I'm not giving my money to people who treat me like my presence is a nuisance or ignore me so blatantly.

I would LOVE to share my experience..I brought my car in knowing that it needed brakes.. and it was making a horrible sound in front.. I told them that I just lost my husband not even 2 weeks ago and I'm a recent widow..go easy on me..Mechanic said let's take it for a drive..we went around the block..2 days later the mechanic called me and said that they replaced the brakes and rotors.. gave it a tune up and oil change... gave me a new battery and wires and terminals.. quoted me the price after doing all these things..It was about $500 - $700 more than I expected to pay.My battery had a little bit of corrosion on the positive terminal that could have easily been brushed off..I know this because my daughter in law and I used the car to jump start another car that same day...I definitely did not need a new battery..I know I still had 70% life left from my lastoil change..the car tells me.. I definitely did not need an oil change yet..I went to pick up the car and got the bill.When I got home I looked over the receipt..I was charged $77 dollars to drive around the block to hear the noise it was making..After the work was done the mechanic took it for another test drive to make sure there wasn't a noise in front anymore.. another $77 dollar charge...They claim to be honest and upfront..What do you think?

I don t normally write reviews, but my recent experience with Sculley s made me feel like they need to be recognized.For some back story: I ve been going to the same place for years. I ve always enjoyed their customer service and their willingness to be honest and work with me. But recently I needed some work done. They had my car for three days and kept telling me we re almost done. Well Friday comes around and they call to ask me if I want to pick up my car for the weekend as they hadn t started the job. I was livid. I felt very lied to.Fast forward a few weeks and my truck breaks down . The weekend I m supposed to get hay I was not super thrilled to go to my usual shop and Sculleys was close to where I had broken down so decided to give them a shot.They recommended a lovely man who towed my truck. And when they received my truck they made it very clear they were busy and probably wouldn t get to it until Monday (this was Thursday morning). I d figured that would be the case and told them not to worry about it.They called me early Friday to say they d at least wanted to look at it and get the parts ordered, so had checked it out and needed a new alternator. They made it very clear they still probably wouldn t get to it until Monday. Again I told them that was fine and go ahead when they had the time.Next thing I know they re calling me to say my truck is ready and I can come pick it up whenever. Apparently the mechanic had stayed through lunch to get it done. The atmosphere I walked into was pleasant and friendly. The people there seemed to enjoy their jobs and each other.These days it s rare to fine people who are open and honest, it s even more rare to find people willing to do hard work. The fact that the mechanic was willing to work through lunch to get me my truck before the end of the day (when I wasn t even expecting it until Monday) amazes me. I will 100% be making the switch permanent. I don t like change so it s huge for me to try something new, and typically I go back to my old ways quickly. But I fell they earned not only my business, but my respect with this encounter:

Friendly and professional staff at Sculley's Automotive informed me of the repair options for my vehicle and then undertook the repairs in a timely manner. It was a great experience and definitely the place to go if you have car service needs in Deer Park.

I needed air conditioning in my work van and they were absolutely great to work with. They got me in and out super fast and now my ac works so I didn't cook in the summer heat. Thanks guys. We will definitely be doing business again.Sincerely,DarylService: Air conditioning

Wife's car had all the bolts snap off in the block for the power steering pump. I would have had to move the exhaust to fix it. The did it without and had it ready in less than 24 hours for less than the quoted price. I was told by Les Schwab that my back rear axle was bent. I asked someone in Deer Park who to go to and they mentioned Sculley s. I talked with Jason and Wes and they were wonderful to me. They were super busy but made time and I made an appointment to bring my car back in at 9 on another day. They didn t think it was the axle otherwise I would have noticed for sure. Turned out the axle was completely fine. However they did noticed my torque was an issue. They dealt with it right away and I was in and out in by 2:30 that same day after they had to order the part from Toyota. Wes showed me the piece and described in detail why it needed to be fixed and what it does. It was about to fall out. They treated me great. I have had many issues with cars and tires and been to many places this is the first place I truly feel not taken advantage of and was treated how I would treat someone if it was reversed. I will for sure be taking all my future car problems here.I do not write many reviews but had to share my experience with others. I highly recommend this place. I also have kids and they were great with them.Another HUGE bonus is they printed off a full detail of why I came in and what they found and didn t find and checked other parts of the car and wrote a report on those parts as well. First time o have ever been given a detailed report. My husband loved this and how they treated me.Thank you Wes!!!

Probably the last honest mechanic/repair shop on earth. I can not count the times they ve hooked me up and NOT taken advantage of me when they very well could have. Big city experience and expertise married with small town ethics and honor. Super friendly, super thorough, and super affordable. - I wasn't sure where to take my car for an oil change and I decided to go to Sculley's. Not only did they change the oil in my car but they gave me a free inspection as well, just so that I would know what was going on under the hood. - I definitely recommend these guys! They are great!

Misdiagnosed my problem. Would've cost me $3000+ if I trusted them. Got a 2nd opinion from a mechanic in the Valley who said it was a much cheaper repair. Went home, did the repair myself for about $120 and the problem was fixed. Don't trust these guys.Edit: Yes, this was definitely Sculleys auto repair in Deer Park. No confusion here.

I used them years ago and they were just awesome. Right down to when I paid and they rounded down to an even figure. My mother still uses them often. Mechanics are always expensive and Sculley s is no different but their work is quality. I m happy to see they re doing so well. If I didn t do my vehicle work myself I d definitely use them.

This is the second time I have had my car serviced and every time they do a fantastic job. I bring my car all the way from the south hill because I trust them and they keep me well informed. They give me my options and let me know to the best of their ability the estimate before they get going, especially if the problem is more difficult to diagnose. If they encounter other problems during diagnostics, they call me and give me the option to fix at this time as well. Grateful to have found a place I can trust with my vehicles. I first found them after a poor experience at the dealership and will continue to take my car here when necessary. Great job!

I live in Arizona and have a daughter that lives and goes to school in the Deer Park area. I am fortunate to have had previous knowledge of Sculley's in DP so when my daughters car needed service I contacted them (Mark to be exact). being so far away is difficult so knowing that the guys at Sculley's are taking care of her vehicle is beyond comforting. Fantastic service, no BS! Thank you for being there and being amazing!!!

I went out today to get multiple estimates on my car. I was highly impressed with the ease of asking questions when I arrived at Scully's. Even though they do not normally work on my foreign car, Kevin asked about the problem I was having.He listened to what I could tell and what my brother thought the issue might be. It was so nice having someone listen. Both Kevin and Rick took a look in the parking lot and decided to take a look in the shop.Kevin let me know up front that they might not be able to do anything. Within an hour they were able to fix my brake light issue and chang to blinker bulbs for me at a very good price.I am really glad that I stopped in. I finally found a trustworthy, affordable repair shop with FANTASTIC customer service. I look forward to going back for oil changes and any questions I might have. Thanks Kevin and Rick for the great experience,

THANK YOU!!!Sculley's.You always provide honest timely repairs. I never need to worry about myself or my staff getting work done correctly the first time or the cost. You always give us an estimate and I can't remember the last time it came in higher. As far as small town perfect goes Sculley's has it all. Great folks, great service and even greater treatment at all times. Fair pricing is the icing on this cake, never left unhappy or feeling robbed. Awesome place.

Down home crew with LUXURY level service!I called on a break to ask about scheduling a service. The line rang for a little bit, so I hung up figuring I would call back in a few.THEY CALLED ME BACK!I am still gobsmacked! Who does THAT in an auto shop? Only LUXURY dealer/service people.I dont like auto shops, for various reasons... I will go to Scullys again and again and again. Couldn't figure out a problem on my 2004 Chevy for six months and they figured it out and fixed it. Also, prices on oil changes are very reasonable and you are in and out quicker than most quick-lube type places. Sculley's will have my business as long as they are in business.

Giving six stars on this report! These guys went over the top! I dreaded the worse thinking I would have to replace my engine or get another car because of an oil pump going out. I figured my car would be worked on for days. However, my suspected shop time on the car became a fraction of what I thought. These guys know what they are doing and are honest about their findings, as the source of the problem didn't cost me as much as I thought it would. They certainly have my patronage, and I will be letting people know about Sculley's Automotive.

Have used Sculley's Automotive for years and have never been disappointed. Explains everything so I could understand what needed to be done, the cost and time it would take. Very satisfied and will continue to use for car repairs/maintenance.

I have taken my car to Jennifers Greenacres auto sales, where I bought it, to get a new clutch put in it. After doing so I got the vehicle back and it didn't make noise. Well after a couple days it made a bunch of noise, so I didn't drive it for awhile because of the noises and I also had back surgery at the time. I called up Ol Deer Park Favorite (Sculley's Automotive). Told them what had happened to the car and what I heard. Got the car back in just a few days at a decent price. They were HONEST UPFRONT POLITE DOWN TO EARTH RELIABLE AND FAMILY FRIENDLY (they have a shuttle vehicle if you need it). I did not need the shuttle but it was kindly offered to me. JEREMY WESS AND THE CREW MY FAMILY THANKS YOU. 5 stars keep up the good honest work. I have brought 4 of my vehicles to Sculley's now and everytime I have had no disappointment.

I took my vehicle in to Skulley's for the first time. Love this place. My engine light and service traction control light was getting irate with me so it was time. They did a thorough exam fixed it for a reasonable rate. So glad to find this place! Excellent! I used to go to the elder Skulleys when he worked out of his garage back in the late 80's! Sweet. I'm back! Couldn't figure out how to leave another review so I just edited the original to add this. I took my car in to replace the radiator at Skulley's and again the service was fast and excellent. I was very impressed that while taking out the old radiator a part of the air conditioner got bent so Skulley called me to let me know and repaired it with no charge. Does it get any better than this? Love this place!

The BEST shop I ve ever taken a car to hands down. The guys that work the front counter are so helpful, they explain everything to you, they don t make you feel like an idiot if you don t know cars and what they re talking about, and they re quick with their work. I know that I can rely on Scully s for any need I have for my car. I can t say enough good things!

I had gotten locked out of my car at the bank. It was super cold and it was the guys going on their lunch break. One of the workers took time out of his lunch break to come and let me back into my car my dog was locked inside and it was so cold I cannot tell him thank you enough. You guys are amazing and now have a new customer from now until the end of time for being so awesome. Thank you so much.

I have been to many shops in the area as I am an Equipment sales rep, but this particular shop has earned my everyday business for my family and I due to their honesty and being able to get work done in a timely manner. They actually have not purchased shop equipment from me, my business was earned by respect and honesty. These guys are great!
