I have never had an experience like I did here. The front desk is extremely helpful and kind. The rooms have a comfortable bed, cable, and the best showers. The hot tub topped off the vibe. It is quiet and the views are magical. If you need any supplies, there is a little market on the marina that serves food and espresso too. Oh also check out the pizza place next door! It is the best we have ever had. On our last night the manager/owner came by to check in and dropped off some chocolate!

This is my happy place! My favorite part of being a Wyndham owner is the ability to book this resort with my points, even though I have to pay extra for WorldMark locations. It is so quiet and peaceful and the private hot tubs are a fabulous way to unwind on Orcas Island time.This was my 5th visit and I'm already looking forward to the next time. I have only encountered kind and helpful crew members on this property.I love the walk along the water on the nearby trail, strolling the docks and visiting the little beach park to enjoy all the views surrounding the resort and marina.Island Pie, the restaurant that is essentially on site, offers delicious Italian fare. Evidently, it's under new management. They were friendly and welcoming.See you again not soon enough, Deer Harbor!

Rooms were more like cabins and they were nice and clean. They had everything you expect from a world mark location. There was a hot tub on every porch and also a common pool in the middle of the resort. The location is spectacular and every room has a great view. Staff seemed friendly. There's a store, post office, and a great restaurant that are easy to walk to.Rooms: Clean and spacious.Nearby activities: There's a marina that has kayak rentals and boat tours. They also have an ice cream shop.Walkability: There's a great walking path steps away from the resort. Also a restaurant and post office and a store you can walk to.Food & drinks: The closest restaurant is almost on the property and has some amazing pizza.

For what people pay for these timeshares you would think everything would be just a bit nicer. Firstly, the staff is wonderful; helpful, attentive, and professional. The rooms, however, need serious attention.The layout is a bit odd, a little too much room in the bedroom, but not nearly enough room in the tiny kitchen. No oven or dishwasher, and only a tiny 2 burner electric stove. The pans provided have seen better days (please replace those terrible "non-stick" skillets!), the knives are barely usable (Ginsu??), and nearly all the faucets are loose. The water coming out of the bathroom sink looks like there's something stuck in there. The fridge is mini hotel sized, and barely had enough room for our food for 4 days. There should also be an option to NOT have a tub; perhaps having some rooms with just showers for those who don't use bathtubs would be nice. The hot tub on the deck is nice, but the thermometer wasn't working, nor were the jets on one whole side.I do like it here, right on the harbor, just a quick drive to the ferry to hop islands. I just think they should maintain much better, and offer something nicer to people who have spent so much money on their timeshares.

This bit of paradise is close to a marina and the view out of our suite overlooking the marina was fabulous. We had our own personal hot tub and our accommodations were aesthetically beautiful. I appreciate the amenities such as a completely functional kitchen, bathroom toiletries, plenty of soft towels,a fireplace, and the cleanliness that Worldmark is consistently known for.

Our unit had a beautiful view from the living room, bedroom and porch. We loved the hot tub on the deck and gas fireplace in the living room. We had been informed about the mini fridge but it made our food prep more difficult and it froze some of our fruit. The unit needs updating and the bathroom tub/shower leaked. We loved Orcas Island, hiking in some beautiful areas and enjoying the ferry rides to and from. We'll be back but probably will upgrade to a nicer unit.

The location is beautiful and worth a thousand words. The service is great, missing one start only because of other issues related to parent company who owns it. The rooms are the worst part. While they look fancy and dandy, they are not fit in the slightest for more than two people. Even though they are advertised as such. It's clear the furnishings inside are bare minimum. The standard cabin has a shower larger than the kitchen, which only has a mini fridge for a space said to fit 4 people. Would much prefer having a full sized fridge to a shower that could easily fit 4-6 inside it.If you are just two people though, this is really a spectacular location. Definitely get more than one cabin for larger parties.

Our 1 bedroon is setup to accommodate 4 adults but I think it would be a little tight for a multiple night stay. That said, the location is our most favorite spot to date and we've visited many of the Worldmark properties! Private hottub on your deck, gorgeous view of the water and marina steps from your door... what's not to like? The San Juan Islands are easily one of the jewels of the PNW!May I also say, the staff (and that's EVERYONE we met) was incredibly helpful, pleasant and accommodating and it certainly seemed to us they clearly enjoy their work and are well suited to working in hospitality!Walkability: The lack of significant traffic (and what cars we did encounter were thoughtful) made walking the neighborhoods safe and enjoyable

Was skeptical at first because of location. But the quiet was amazing. The manager Michelle went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. Individual hot tubs a huge hit. Fireplace in every room so nice for those chilly nights. Very comfortable rooms!The marina very close with great coffee and breakfast and pizza/pasta right next door. We can't wait to come back!

I booked this resort about 3 or 4 months ago and I was lucky enough to get the 3 BR Presidential unit. It was located just off the beach so there is beach access from this unit. There's a gorgeous view from the deck that looks out into the marina and from the master BR located upstairs, there's a deck with another stunning view of the water and surrounding area. There's a large hot tub out on the main deck looking out to the marina so it's just a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The staff go out of their way to get you anything that you may need and they're really friendly and nice. I look forward to returning soon.

The cabin we had was a cute little studio, but it was far more spacious than we had anticipated. It was a lot roomier than I thought it would have been. Small kitchen, but it was a studio. The bathroom was spacious and luxurious with custom tile. We even had a private hot tub on our deck that had a wonderful view of the waterfront. Sunset views from the deck. Beautiful! Definitely will be returning to this gem!

Cottage 1 BR. Nice units. Hot tub only a few steps out ur door on deck. Temp 102 to 104. One thing to be aware of is refrigerators in unit is about 3 ft tall.. There is plenty of free ice at Office.. Deer harbor is about six miles from East Sound. Beautiful drive. Friendly staff, clean units. I haven't been here before but understand they are remodeled. Everything is new looking. Great peaceful quiet get away. Recommend

Much more private than most WorldMark resorts, with private hot tubs for each unit. Only the largest units have more than a kitchenette, but they are sufficient. Deer Harbor is beautiful and quaint, but there aren't businesses there. The island is covered by amazing hiking trails and you can find amazing vistas of the whole sound from some of the peaks. We never found a good spot for sunset views though. Definitely worth the travel and ferry expenses.

Lovely accommodations, fabulous views, we just love this party of the island. My sister and their teen both got sick while we were there and the staff were really helpful through it all. Loved that they were making pool reservations, made the whole pool experience much more relaxed, esp while the pandemic is still happening. Wouldn't mind if reservations were a long term addition though.

Super cute! We are in a 1 bedroom cottage. It is a cozy little place.Refrigerator is small, barely a freezer, but we didn't plan on cooking alot so it was fine. Make sure you have your key on you at all times, anytime the front door shuts, it locks. The view we had was of the Deer Harbor Marina. So it was a pretty view for us.

Back lot very disappointing. I reserved a cabin with a hot tub on the deck and supposedly a view for a week but was given a place in the very back. Small, no decent kitchen, furniture apparently removed to make it handicap accessible, and our view is mostly the back of other cabins! Even worse, it doesn t even seem full at the resort, so much nicer cabins are sitting empty. Jealous of the ones by the water, and we paid the same amount of credits. Ours is Nothing like the photos. There were minor things broken but I didn t mind that. I just wanted to sit and look at the water.

This is a very peaceful resort, at least in mid-January. It is next to the marina and water. Very beautiful spot! We have used the on deck hot tub. Love the privacy of it and our stand alone room. It is very comfortable. We are enjoying our time here.

We love this resort! It is so peaceful and beautiful here.... even with many things closed, due to the COVID pandemic, we had a great time. There s a few restaurants very close by and town is a short and scenic drive. We really enjoyed the beautiful views from private hot tub and walks by the marina and beach

Amazing! Right on the marina, spectacular views of the Olympic Mountains.We bought a Living Social deal and I am thankful we did or we would not have even heard if it! We had great service despite the deal. It helps I made a July reservation in February so we got the best cabin!Our private cabin had our own deck and hot tub, plus fireplace and a mini kitchen. This place was big! Staff is so nice, we had the best time ever.Great continental breakfast, nice pool, cannot say enough nice things. Will definitely be back.
