I just got another vehicle and Robert and his crew did a thorough inspection and they performed all the work in a timely manner. I feel so much safer now. Our family has been very satisfied with the work on all our vehicles. It's great knowing that they don't do anything that doesn't need to be fixed. I totally recommend them!

Love This Crew and the extra care they take with their customers! We are so pleased with the work, the communication and the customer service we ve received here! So nice to know you have a shop you can count on that has integrity and fair prices when your vehicles need work! Robert has gone above and beyond every time even running out antifreeze to our 16 yr old daughter stranded on the side of the road and helped her get off the Hwy!!All around good human beings!!

On our way home from a trip down Hell's Canyon of the Snake River, we found ourselves rolling through Dayton with a destroyed radiator. Thankfully we made it to Dayton Auto Repair where Nick told us it would be a few days before they could get the part but that they'd be able to fix our truck. Unfortunately we were 4 hours from home with a trailer full of rafts, work scheduled for the next day and not a lot of options. Nick LOANED US HIS TRUCK so that we could get our trailer/gear home and get to work the following day! They also did a great job repairing our truck which we returned to pick up the following week. Dayton Auto Repair fixed our truck and restored our faith in humanity. We'll be paying that one forward. Thank you Nick and Dayton Auto Repair team!

I have taken 2 of my vehicles to Robert and his crew. The first time I went to him was because another local mechanic told me the motor in the car was bad and that I needed to band aid it and sell it or get another motor. The issue it was having didn't sit well with me so I took it to Robert. He found that the other mechanic had put in the wrong spark plug which could have damaged the motor more. After changing them all out he ran some diagnostics and found the number 5 coil pack was bad. He was very honest with me and charged me what I felt was a very fair price. I had him do a lot more work on the car for maintenance reasons and even took my pickup in to have him do quite a bit of work on it. Due to him and his crews honesty and reliability, both of my vehicles are running great and it did not cost me an arm and a leg. He will forever get my business. In fact I have some stuff coming up that I will be having him do. He is the most honest mechanic I have ever worked with. His crew is very knowledgeable and they treat you with respect. It was closing time when our Sprinter RV was towed to Dayton Auto Repair on a hot hot Friday before Labor Day. We expected to walk to a hotel with two cats and luggage and food and wait until Tuesday for an assessment. The Dayton team was finishing four other cars and were more than ready to start their long weekend, but they all stuck around. Calming us down and suggesting hotels. Nick offered to drive us 30 miles to a hotel within range of a car rental company. Remember, this is now well past closing time. Nick then offered to spend some time working on our RV and got it running again. Wow. The world needs more Dayton Auto Repair shops and more mechanics like Nick. By the way, Nick has worked on German engines for a number of years.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

Wow, we can't say enough how wonderful Robert was! Our truck pulling our fifth wheel broke down outside of Dayton and we had it towed here (a shout out to David and Dustin as well from Kyle's Towing). We arrived around 6:30pm and although the shop was closed, Robert stopped by to introduce himself and ask us some diagnostic questions. He also let us camp in our trailer behind the shop for the night. The next morning he had already diagnosed the problem (the turbo boot had come off) and fixed it by 7:30! We were on the road again to Walla Walla by 8:30. Thanks so much Robert!Service: Engine repair

My truck has been up on the lift multiple times for this or that in Robert's shop. His willingness to just hear me out and put our heads together for a solution to a troublesome problem has been nice. I am not a drop of and pray kinda guy. Robert has always been up front and look for the most economical solution. You can trust leaving your rings here and the communication to getting you back on the road will be there. Fair and Honest is what to expect at Dayton Auto Repair

All I can do is say Robert and his crew are awesome! I called him and explained what was going on. He had me bring vehicle in that day, and had fixed within two days! Another shop had messed things up, they fixed it so I could get to Idaho for a wedding! And jeep runs like a dream!! Thank you a Robert for saving the day!!

We were in area from Spokane only for day. As we left our daughter's our alternator went out at 3pm. Robert got us right in, and we were done in 30min and on our way! Great work, very reasonable rates and we were able to drive home that evening.

I was having problems with the ac in my car. Called Thursday evening, in at 8 am Friday and had my car back at one. Great price and better service!!!

I had my vehicle with some major gremlin issues and took it to Dayton auto repair. Robert was up front and honest the whole time and was able to solve the issues . Now the vehicle runs like a dream. If you want honesty Dayton auto repair is a place to go.

Love the work robert has done on out dodge pickup will return with jeep for repairs. I live in Portland ore and will drive the distance to Dayton Auto repair due to the fact Robert does quality honest repairs. Robert is .Amazing mechanic

Robert is great!! He's always got my pickup in on a timely manner. He never gave up on it! My Pick up had a bad brake Issue and he kept it until it was fixed!!

We broke down about 40 minutes from town, the owner made sure I had a bale of hay for my goats stuck in the trailer, had our truck fix by 1 pm the next day....amazing service and friendly neighborhood help!
