Went beyond expectations. Customer service driven. Front Clerk, Jack, demonstrated excellent customer service skill set.Rooms: .03 miles walk to downtown. Old time feeling atmosphere in the downtown area. It was very safe to walk alone as a female.

Best and closest place to stay at if you are in Dayton for Bluewood. Also a short 30 minutes drive from some of the best wineries of the State in Walla Walla. The hotel is very comfortable and semi new. Very clean too! Every part of it is disabled people friendly! Rooms are specious and well equipped. Staff was extremely friendly and going above and beyond. I overheard a conversation between a manager and one of the employees in the breakfast room. The manager was thanking the guy for coming in on his day off and help out and doing a great job. It was sweet.I found the beds to be very comfortable.Pool room was clean and had a nice view of the mountain around Dayton. It's right in town, so no need for a car to go for a walk or go get food.

This place is great. Right on main street so you have quick access to downtown. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. My favorite thing was the breakfast. I expected fresh fruit, coffee and maybe some muffins. There was a mini waffle maker! Eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage, muffins, bagels, and English muffins. In the fridge is whole milk, almond milk and oat. Bowls of cereal, yogurt and fruit cups. Add in the assorted fresh fruit and you have a restaurant quality breakfast for free! The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. They were more than willing to answer all my questions. This is for sure my new go to place everytime I'm in Dayton.

Excellence began with a clerk named Melody, a good-natured and amiable local who listened to my particular requests and when I arrived the next day, had honored them; being from Dayton herself, she was able to give me some needed perspective on the quaint and welcoming little town, a greatly appreciated time spent. The room itself was very quiet, the a/c worked well, the bed was ultra-comfortable, and the room spartan. From my viewpoint, it would have been nice to have a wee bit of local reading material or some magazines, but this is a very minor complaint. Greeting the morning with a welcome breakfast with many items to choose from (including scrambled OR hardboiled eggs!), plenty of coffee or juice and a cheerful server made this stay wonderfully complete. Thank you!

Clean and comfy.Edit: After staying 3 weeks a few things. 1 we work nights, check in is at 11am and then we work from 4pm till about 5am. We get abour 5 hours of sleep and then get rousted by staff to get out. No options for night shift and if you want your room cleaned you have to stay up and let them do it while you should be sleeping. Its been a such a headache. You would expect more for the price you pay.

We were there on Christmas Eve and Christmas. The staff went out of their way to be fun and helpful! Lovely, good-sized rooms, great breakfasts and three different family groups could be put in rooms adjacent to each other. Our family enjoyed the hot tub and pool several times each day, it was fun. Thank you staff at Dayton Best Western!

This place is awesome. Clean, fresh, and the pool was heated comfortably for my 4 year old. The complementary breakfast is very good with many options, in fact much more than I would have expected from any other "continental breakfast" offerings. A+ on the breakfast! I finished a conference in Spokane and decided to add a side road trip with the family. This hotel was much nicer than our conference hotel, as was the breakfast. Also, Dayton is a charming town, lots of history, cute museums, and the hotel is an easy walk into town. I will certainly recommend this hotel to friends an colleagues, it is a first class place in a small town. The bed was very comfortable too! We wish we could have stayed an extra night.

The room feels clean and nice. The complimentary breakfast is from 7-9 which feels short. I think it should be another hour. What they have for food is good. The other complimentary amenities were also closed which I didn't see on their website, which was kind of disappointing.

We went so the adults could ski and little grandkids could swim. It was rainy, so the skiers spent more time at the hotel. The staff was amazing and we really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely do it again! Dayton was a fun little town to explore.

The Best Western in Dayton, Washington, provided this sad and weary traveler with a quiet oasis of rest. The front desk personnel were empathetic, and worked hard to find a room for early check-in, providing a much-needed nap.My room was clean, pleasant, nicely decorated and smelled good. The bed and pillows were comfy and welcoming. I am grateful to have stayed at this property, and will gladly do so again.

We recently stayed 2 nights for a local wedding. This is a very nice facility, the staff are friendly and rooms exceptionally clean. The excersize room was super clean and easy to work out in and the breakfasts were very nice. Next time we are in Dayton we will definitely stay here again.

Room is nice and clean. Breakfast is included and served by hotel staff in a breakfast area with table and chair dine-in. Hot breakfast includes egg benedict, biscuit & gravy. There are options of cereal, milk, muffins and yogurt. Free coffee, drinks and orange. Swimming pool is closed during pandemic. Overall stay is pleasant. Would recommend.

This location is beautiful. The grounds are inviting and plush. We travel with our dogs and truly appreciate that they provide a clean area larger than a throw rug along with a poop bag station. I never feel like my dogs are going to die of some disease or take some other dogs dirt back to the room with me! The lobby, breakfast area pool and other amenities are clean and well maintained. The rooms are nice sized, comfortable and well appointed. So many places just get by - they look and feel tired. The pride of ownership screams at this hotel...!!!

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! The rooms were beautiful and comfortable and the indoor pool and exercise room were wonderful! The customer service was above and beyond. We had our van break down in Dayton and our family of 10 showed up at their hotel at 2:30 am tired and stressed. They went out of their way to make it easy for us to check in. We were still stranded in Dayton for 4 hours after we checked out and they let our whole big group stay in the lobby with our luggage and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable. They don't just run a great hotel, they are wonderful people! Thank you so much for all you did to save our vacation!!

Hands down the best hotel in Dayton. That being said, there are only 2 other hotels in Dayton. Seriously though, this Best Western is always clean while the staff is courteous and professional. The rooms are well appointed with fresh linens and quality Pharmacopeia toiletries. If you need a hotel in Dayton look no further than the Best Western Plus.

Amazing hotel, and really surpassed expectations. Lovely Decor, great rooms and wonderful breakfast. Dayton is a lovely town with friendly people. We were attending an event in Walla Walla and were so pleased to stay here instead of Walla Walla. Loved it and am booking a second stay

I was very pleased with my stay with the exception of the bedroom. I booked a handicap accessible room because I am in a wheelchair. The bedroom was nice and roomy but the bed was too high off the floor. I am unable to use my legs to stand. Getting on the bed from my wheelchair was very difficult. I wouldn't consider this room handicap accessible with the bed so high off the floor. In my future travels I will consider staying somewhere other than Best Western Plus.

This is the nicest Best Western hotel I have stayed in and I travel a lot, renting rooms at Best Western hotels in the Pacific Northwest. When I call to reserve the staff goes out of their way to get me the best rate. On arrival if I need to change rooms they accommodate me. The breakfast is excellent and changes from day to day. Coffee and juice are good and I always get enough to eat to start my day. The rooms are clean, HVAC system works well and there are lots of programs/movies on the TV to watch. The pool is a little small but enough to work out the kinks of the day. I love the hot tub as well as a place to relax. I highly recommend this hotel.

September 8, 2017. We have a 1 bedroom suite with a king size bed. The room is gorgeous with wonderful room service. The young man serving breakfast keeps a very clean dining area. Breakfast was yummee. The front desk staff very pleasant & helpful. We will be back to stay in Dayton, Washington.

I had some problems: 1) the beds were too soft, so I had to sleep with a pillow under me on the firmest bed, 2) the bed HAD DIRTY SHEETS. I'm glad I happened to check it by pulling down the covers and looking at it. I found numerous pieces of long hair and a lint ball from a sock. YUCK!! The front desk person immediately came up and changed them, but it caused me to lose faith in the hotel, b/c a dirty bed is a big deal to me. 3) I have multiple chemical sensitivities and my eyes were BEET RED the entire stay (3 days). It was really embarrassing since i was there with co-workers for a training. No amount of eye drops changed their color but they returned to normal after I left the hotel. 4) The elevator is extremely slow. The fastest way down if you're on the 2nd or 3rd level, after getting your luggage to your room, is the stairway. 5) you can open the window in the room only 5 inches and the heavy drapes prevent much natural air flow. That being said, the staff are knowledgeable and friendly and the breakfasts are great. I like that the hotel is providing business to the community and helping it's economy. Their conference rooms are nice and the heating/cooling system cooled the room down really fast. Rooms have an microwave and fridge too, and the overall appearance of the hotel is clean.

Best Western is one of my favorite hotels to stay at when I am traveling. The rooms are always very clean, the bed comfortable and the staff always willing to help and easy to deal with. I've never had a problem at any of their hotels anywhere I've stayed. Highly recommend for a good nights sleep!
