You can't find great, affordable places anymore, but we did at the Lowtide. This was our second time staying, and we will be back. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. We thought we found our favorite room, but looking through the pictures, we may have to check a couple of the others out. The location is great, walking distance to the beach or a short drive to a beach you can drive on. The sunset picture and people riding horses, not us, are from the beach you can drive on. Also close to Ocean Shores, Westport, and more.Rooms: Clean, comfortable, and supplies you may need.Safety: Parking directly in front of your room. I felt completely safe.Walkability: Quick walk to the beach and a small store.

This place is a gem! The owners are warm and welcoming. The rooms are amazing and every detail in them is well thought out. Cool trail to the beach which is a less than 5 minute walk. We saw 5 people total on the beach and were there over 2 hours. Pet friendly, affordable and quiet location. About 10 minutes from Ocean Shores. I can't recommended this place enough. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

The owners are friendly and outgoing. They have dogs and are very welcoming to dogs at the motel. They checked in daily to see if we had any needs, as the rooms are left undisturbed during your stay. Rooms are well provisioned and very clean, but bring your own toiletries. Short walk to the beach thru the dunes. Clam cleaning kitchen and firepits on siteRooms: Very clean, comfortable beds. Provisioned with Fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and dishes. Nice little deck on front for loungingWalkability: Quiet area low traffic for walking, good trails around dunes and a short walk to beach

My husband and I just celebrated our 26th anniversary at the low tide motel. We had one of the remodeled rooms and every detail was spot on. It was recommended by one of my friends from high school. Happens he has his wife had been there a few times and was staying there also. Such a great time had by all! The owners are so warm & welcoming and I can t wait to take my son and our fur babies next time. The price is perfect to get away and not feel that it s unattainable for those on a stricter budget. Close to a lower populated beach and just a few miles from more robust activities. Bring fold grill and you won t even have to eat out. Our rating is two thumbs up & 10 stars.

Had a wonderful, relaxing weekend at this establishment. The owner is a sweet, dog-loving woman. She runs her business efficiently. The room we were in was newly remodeled. Beautiful work. The room has a warm , welcoming feel to it. Extremely clean. I would recommend staying at her establishment if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing, private break from the hustle and bustle of big city life.

My family & I had our second stay at the Low Tide over the weekend and had another wonderful experience! We took family here from out of town last year, we stayed in one of the duplex units as it was perfect for two couples with two babies. This year, my husband, son, & I returned and stayed in the duplex again. Having a kitchen was so helpful! The units are clean & simple, I didn t have to worry about my one-year old making a huge mess. It s a short walk down to the beach & since it s a private entrance, there were not a ton of people to contend with. Our son had such a great time running around the beach & we even got to see deer walk right past our window in the morning. The rates are extremely reasonable and the owners are so very sweet! We had so much fun and cannot wait to return!

We had such a great time this weekend here! The owners were so sweet and personable, and you can tell they take great pride in running an excellent business. I felt like I was part of the family when we arrived. They invited us to join their fire each night and even had some beach toys for the toddler with us.They're in the process of renovating the property. We stayed in a room not yet remodeled, but it was great! Clean, good amenities that all worked. Coffee maker and filters, small fridge, hair dryer... Beach-cabin type of charm, and a gorgeous 5 minute walk to the edge of the water. We'll definitely be back!

We had our extended Easter gathering at "The Lowtide". It was perfect for us all! Super close access to the beach without compromising privacy. The Lowtide is a good place for pets to enjoy too. I'm pretty sure there were more kitchen accommodations in our motel room than you would find in most of their competition. The rooms were quite spacious, clean, and tidy. NO BED BUGS OR SAND FLEAS!!! The owners/managers are very nice and REASONABLE... just like their prices. They understand that these motels are going to see some evidence of beach goers and won't use that as an excuse to keep a deposit or charge you... I'm sure within reason of course =) I look forward to staying there again.

Cozy motel that brought back fond childhood memories from the beach- we felt transported to the early 90s in the best way. Dan and Jeannie went above and beyond to accommodate when we had a flat tire on our way and couldn t make it the first night. A short walk to a quiet part of the coast next door to a national park full of bird watching and even quieter small dunes with beach and river views. Quick walk to the well-stocked Copalis Grocery for everything you d want for your kitchenette at the Lowtide. We also easily walked to the Green Lantern for a great breakfast with well mixed Bloody Mary s. We ll be back!

Bring your own drinking water. Make sure your front door closes all the way or the owners dog will just push in. This happened to us and my dogs got loose, luckily no harm. Not funny when a strange dog barges in, not safe. Great people and atmosphere.

Had an awesome time. The owners really made my stay an experience. I will return here.If your looking at this place to stay for a night or a week you found it!!!. Ocean is short walk away for fishing or crabbing. Quite and peaceful. Comfortable rooms with fridge and microwave. 2 bedroom units have full kitchens. Casino is down the road a couple of miles. You can always drive to the excitement but finding somewhere to relax and enjoy pleasant company is something to cherish..

It is a cute hotel with updated rooms and not far from the beach! The only thing I would like is to have more drawers for my clothes and things. I'm the person who unpacks so having drawers is nice to have. Other than that, great place to stay!

I've stayed here about a dozen times. It's clean and safe. Their updated units are very nice and the older units are no frills but meet all basic needs 100%. I always sleep like a baby here. So close to the ocean. Owners are a joy. Pup friendly.

Just returned home from an evening at The Low Tide. This no frills but oh so clean and comfortable motel is the home away from home your looking for. Jeannie and Dan are beyond inviting- you cannot help but feel welcome. They are kind, gracious, helpful, friendly and engaging. We were thrilled when Jeannie come to our campfire to just hang out, roast some marshmallows and enjoy the grandkid with us. I slept like a baby -the bed was so comfortable. Everything was in working order or better. The walk to the beach includes little nooks with chairs or a picnic table along the winding paths. From the bridge you can see ducks in the river. Just down the path opens to the beach. When you get back theres plenty of wood and kindle to build your fire. It's pretty great. Go. Enjoy. Tell Jeannie and Dan I said Hi!

I absolutely love this hotel. The owners are amazing people. They welcomed us as family and helped us with our bon fire. They even gave my kiddos kites to fly. The rooms are cozy and clean. Our family was so comfortable we didnt want to go home! We visited a month ago and already have another week long visit planned! The beach is within walking distance and so is a little market. It makes the 5.5 hour drive worth it!!!!

I've been staying at the LowTide off and on for the past few years. The new owners are fabulous! They've worked hard to renew the property and make your experience a fun and welcoming experience. I love the fireside get together's in the evenings, the close proximity to the beach for clamming, crabbing and fishing, and you can easily walk to the neighborhood store and restaurant/bar. Not only that, the room rates are very reasonable! The only thing missing is WiFi, but then if you're at the ocean to relax, you shouldn't really need it.

Friendly staff. Clean but older and weather worn. Lots of doilies! Close proximity to the beach which was awesome. We even saw a group of seals in a nearby channel. We filled up two water bottles to take on the road...must be well water (orangish and metal taste). Did I mention, lots of doilies? Excellent for the price and location.

It was ok. It seemed like a lot of money to me and there was no WiFi . The people were nice and there was plenty of towels and other needed things but the lighting in the bathroom was horrible , like a autopsy room. The walls were so thin I could hear every word spoken from the room next door till 2:30 in the morning. Other then that it is ok. I had not been there in 20 years so it was nice to see it still there. They were working on it clearly as there was remodeling going on. I 've never heard of no WiFi though .
