My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights. It looks cleaned up and decent from the outside. Once we got into the bungalow it looked very nice with new light fixtures, nice counter tops, farm sink, remodeled bathroom, etc. The shower pressure was great, while the kitchen sink pressure was almost non-existent. The shower door leaked water when we showered. Overall it was a quiet and cute place. Will stay again soon. We want to stay in the yurts and the tiny homes to check them out!Rooms: There are 4 types of booking at this place. You could book a stay in a yurt, a bungalow room which has an in-unit bathroom/shower, a tiny home, or you could park and plug in your own 5th wheel or rv. There are community bathrooms and showers for those that book a yurt. There is a community firepit as well. It looks like they had just finished building a bridge to access the ocean from the property as well.

The location was nice and had a good vibe. We stayed in a glamping tent for 2 nights. The amenities were on the lean side for glamping compared to other sites I've visited but we made it work. The tent was nice and spacious inside. The king size bed was comfortable. There was a hole near the fire stove that let water in while it rained. Its definitely affecting the stove and floor near by. The front deck of the tent had a consistent puddle of water due to rain, we made it work but it causes in and out of the tent to become a wet mess inside. Our tent had a ripped zipper near the bottom that let in a breeze during the night, the hole was large enough that our dog (large dog) could also get through if we didn't clip the straps. The tents are presentable and neat from the outside. The bath house was great and I loved that there was indoor and outdoor showers. It's plenty lit if walking in the middle of the night with kids. The tap and bathing water are clearly rich in iron, it's noticeable when showering or when brushing your teeth. Overall, at night this place comes to life with the night sky, the powerful ocean sounds and the sound of critters near by. We enjoyed it.Noteworthy details: I think of there is going to be a pet fee there should be a minimum a matt (to keep them off the cold ground) and an extra towel.

We had a fabulous stay in tiny house #5. Cute and cozy. We were able to bring our little pup, too. Great communication from Kayla, the innkeeper, as she wanted to make sure our stay was highly enjoyable and all our needs were met. Anything we needed, she made sure it was taken care of. Loved our stay! Thank you for your hospitality and for going the extra mile. We would love to come back again!Walkability: A half a mile walk to the beach. Beautiful sunsets, and you can hear the ocean from this spot.

This place was super clean and very cozy!!! It had an intimate feel to it. This is less than ten minutes from the center of Ocean Shores. The canvas tents are super clean and cozy. The staff was kind enough to remind me to bring extra blankets since I may stay was during the cold season. There is also a wood burning stove with wood in the tent. The bed was SUPER comfy and there are plugs inside for your phone chargers, etc. They do supply towels and have a coffee shop. I am so happy I found this place! Affordable, cozy, clean and a perfect disconnect. I can t wait to go back! Thank you for the amazing time Pacific Dunes Resort!

I could not recommend this place enough! My husband and I stayed in one of the bungalows and it was super cute! Very clean, and well put together! Kayla the innkeeper was extremely wonderful to work with and her communication was perfect! I had read the reviews before arriving and some of them were nitpicking the smallest things. The bungalows have a main TV and then another in the bedroom. There is only one remote, but it is universal so it works with both! They put fabric adhesive on one of the curtains to help with privacy, it worked really well! My husband and I would 100% stay here again, and loved listening to the rain and ocean at night. It very much so exceeded expectations and hope that you give this place a try! Oh, they also have a coffee bar in the office, which was a huge bonus!

We stayed for one night in the glamping tent Bravo; we enjoyed our stay, the tent was clean , stocked with wood for the fire stove. We were not able to have the fire going (our fault), but the bedding kept us warm anyway, even if outside was pretty chilly and rainy.Bed is quite soft, but it wasn t a problem for our short stay.Bathrooms seem reasonably clean and warm; men s one seem to have had some work done recently, women s is a bit darker IMO.We haven t seen anyone in the office, but the innkeeper replied promptly to a couple of messages. The beach is probably 3/4 mile away, easy to walk to and very isolated. We d definitely come back again

We had a wonderful time at Pacific Dunes Resort and can t wait to plan our next stay. Here is what stood out during our long weekend:Glamping tent: The tent was in good used condition, resilient and warm during the rainy evenings. The wood stove set up kept us extremely comfortable and the blankets and bed were cozy. The extras we brought were towels and blankets. Those came in handy, we used the blankets for our dog and our extra towels in the entryway kept the rain/sand from getting in the tent.Location:This is not right on the beach but it s extremely close. The water is about a 10-15 minute walk and you still can enjoy all the sounds and smells of the water from the resort.Amenities:This place really has everything you need within the resort, extras are easy to snag from a small grocer 5 minutes away. Fire pits and personal BBQs are dotted all over the grounds, with all the supplies you d need to get going. The local restaurants are pretty mid and expensive, but we had a great time cooking on site.Bathrooms:The bath house is very well maintained, with a heater, menstrual supplies, and full shower (with soap and hair stuff). Even the least outdoorsy person could feel comfortable using these washrooms.Service:10/10. Kayla our Inkeeper was very welcoming and kind. She strikes a great balance between giving you privacy and being available if you have a question or want a coffee. For $50 I surprised my boyfriend with the Valentine s package. It was such a sweet and silly way to make our trip just a little bit special. Thanks again, Kayla!

This review is specifically for tiny house #1 we understand that it s more of a camping experience. But it was a combination of unsafe, uncomfortable and unstocked conditions that made us leave after one night.Just to recap here: no working oven, no wall on the back of the house itself (exposed propane tanks & very drafty bathroom), glass on balcony was missing, balcony itself extremely inaccessible, can t sit up in the main bed area (which is a mattress topper) , water was rusty, microwave turned on and off by itself, and only half a roll of toilet paper in the whole place. That s not all, but it s all I have time for.Management did refund us for the night we didn t stay but as another review has mentioned I wasn t able to obtain email receipts despite asking numerous times. Oh and the ice cream box outside the office is filled with mold!! Should be thrown away immediately.

I had an absolutely incredible one-night stay at Pacific Dunes Resort in a cozy tent. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the soothing sounds of the ocean. The tent itself was a perfect blend of comfort and nature. It was clean, well-appointed, and had everything I needed for a comfortable night's sleep. The wood fire stove was so nice and the sound of the waves crashing on the shore lulled me into a deep and peaceful slumber. The resort staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, ensuring that my stay was nothing short of perfect. I found that the text message communication with check in and such was very convenient. This one-night stay in a tent by the beach was a rejuvenating escape from the daily grind. If you're looking for a tranquil retreat where you can be one with nature and enjoy the calming presence of the ocean, I highly recommend this resort. It's an experience that will stay with me for a lifetime.

We had a great stay!! We stayed in the Bravo Glamping tent. The sounds of the ocean from our place were awesome. Enjoyed a quality salmon meal from my handsome husband on their grills. The walk to the beach was less than 10 minutes and the views were spectacular!! Enjoyed a nice specialty latte from their little coffee bar. Super cute! Highly recommended.

The place is cozy, clean and the inn keeper is very responsive and friendly. The place doesn t have a lot of kitchen items like cutting board, knife, strainer but when I asked Kayla for strainer and extra bedding, got the needed items quickly! Will definitely stay there again.

The reservation process was so easy, amazing customer service! Great location, so beautiful, nice little nature walk down to the beach. Very quiet and not crowded when we stayed, we rented the tent with the most comfortable bed we've slept in, as well with a cozy wooden fire stove inside. This little family own business really went all out for us, they are also pet friendly and they offer complimentary local beer from a brewery in Aberdeen, you also have the choice to purchase a wine basket that includes a bottle of local wine with some tasty snacks. This was our first "Glamping" experience. We had such a fun relaxing time, we are planning another trip for the near future. Highly recommended for the family or just a couples weekend retreat like we did!

Oh my gosh, this is one of the most charming places I ve ever stayed! We loved it! We definitely want to come back!It s close to the beach with an enchanting trail that leads to a bridge to access the beach. We booked our weekend in one of the family size Glamping tents. The picture we saw on the website wasn t exactly what we got. The one they show on the website has a rug and we really did wanna rug and almost brought one but thought we would have one and then didn t when we got there, and they didn t have one to give us. That might sound insignificant, but it s cold in the winter and we expected a rug based on the picture which would ve given a little more warmth for a pleasing environment. We had to move to a cabin, which we were accommodated for, because it was too cold to stay comfortably. The woodstove in our tent did not work efficiently. We couldn t sleep because it was just painfully cold and had to wake up a couple times to stoke the stove which was really prohibitive for us with the cold temperatures. We were totally prepared to stay, and would have if the stove worked. We burned through four nights of wood in one night because it was really more like a fireplace than a wood stove without the damper working right. The other drawback with the Glamping tent was that Because of the colder temperatures and the frost, the front porch and stairs were very slippery. It would be nice if there were slip prevention surface added to winterize for safety. However, we loved the cabin they gave us when we told them of the situation-they moved us to a cabin with no extra charge, which was lovely. They did give us a 10% discount for the night that We stayed in the tent, but honestly for the inconvenience of having to move all our stuff to another place it would ve been nice for them to have removed the cost, or given us a more significant discount, and offered to make us coffee in the morning or just some thing more host friendly . they have a cute little store there with eggs from their chickens, and it really is cute and Quaint! There was a barking dog in one of the other units - that was concerning - but it was far enough away that it didn t keep us awake. We could just hear it all day long.Having said all that They were kind, and we loved it, and would totally go back! Just think they could make a few improvements that would really go a long ways!

We stayed here for 2 nights in one of the bungalow rooms, and I'm thankful we didn't try for a longer stay. To start with the good: the bed was fine, the decor seemed to have been updated somewhat recently, and nobody else was really around so it was quiet. Also for off season the price was average. But it seems like everywhere around here overcharges for what you get.Minor issues: the front curtains don't fully cover the window leading to a lack of privacy, the loveseat in the front room feels like half or more of its springs are shot (thereby making the bed a more comfortable hang out spot and semi negating the curtain issue), the guest wi-fi is a bit of a joke, and the TV in the bedroom was missing a remote control as well as the plug being bent because the cord was barely long enough to reach the outlet. Heating was through baseboard heaters that seemed to only really have too hot or not hot enough, but I prefer chilly environments so not a big deal.Bigger issues: the front door has no weather stripping along the bottom of it so the cold air just leaks in to the front room. This also provides a path of entry for bugs to enter the unit when they are active. But the biggest problem we had was the water stinks incredibly bad. I don't know if it's just the well water they are dealing with or if there was something wrong with their water but the smell of sulfur is so incredibly strong that after taking a single shower the entire unit smelled and after a second shower the strench lingered for over 15 minutes with the bathroom window open. Bring water for your toothbrush and for drinking if you don't want that smell to be inside your mouth, and be prepared to deal with the smell for as long as it takes your hair to fully dry. To make it worse the towels provided literally don't dry you off. Be prepared to lay around air drying if you don't bring towels of your own. The water issue alone is enough to never stay here again.

We loved our weekend at PDR, really cute little place with tons of potential. The staff were helpful and nice, we stayed in the larger glamping tent with our dogs and kiddo, it was really comfortably appointed and the little stove kept us warm. The bathhouse showers were closed so we used the little outdoor shower, it was refreshing! The website is a tad misleading as to the proximity to the beach, it s at least a mile and half walk but the beach is very private and beautiful. They give you a free beer at checkout and the little coffee shop is a wonderful touch. Overall, we loved our stay! We d recommend adding brooms to the tents, fixing the indoor showers, adding hooks in the bathrooms, and also being more clear about the beach hike for those with little kids or mobility difficulties. We will absolutely be back!

We stayed two nights in RV site number four in our camper. The entire experience was great from the time of booking through checking out. We had excellent communication from Kayla the innkeeper. When you drive into the property, you have a tree lined driveway that opens up to Glamping tents, remodeled motel, bath house, and tiny houses. The property is so well thought out with all the accommodations on the perimeter and amenities in the center. The office is in progress but does have a lovely coffee bar and free beer upon arrival. The RV sites are quite narrow and a little tricky to get into, but Kayla mentioned these are original to the property and were made for old buses and vans. Our stay was very comfortable. It was very quiet and we could listen to the ocean to fall asleep at night. We had a chance to look in one of the remodeled motel rooms and we re floored by the thoughtful design. It s a bit of a walk to the beach but totally doable. You can also drive about seven minutes north to a beach access that accepts cars. About 15 minutes north you ll find Seabrook. There are also a lot of other recreation activities in the area and it s just 2 1/2 hours from Seattle. We will definitely stay here again.Nearby activities: Beach access. Seabrook. Ocean Shores. State and National parkNoteworthy details: Modern aesthetic. Very well thought out design for all of the accommodations.

Peaceful location - you can hear the waves all day long! Room was perfect - comfortable bed, nice little seating area indoor and outdoor. The shared bathroom is clean, warm and fast hot water. It will be nicer if there are hooks to hang stuff while taking shower.Safety: Eve though the tent has no lock, we still feel safe staying at the property.

This is one of several campgrounds optimistically titled resorts along this stretch of Copalis Beach. We used our RV, but for those without their own lodging, their small houses and cabin tents looked cute and comfortable.Though you can hear the beach, it s not that easy to get to from this location, as there s a river between the resort and the beach, with a walk of between 15 and 20 minutes to the closest bridges to the north or south. Once on the beach, it s lovely - vast stretches of empty sand with nothing but seagulls to compete for space.Back to the resort - loved the outdoor showers. Private booths but under the sky/stars, with lots of hot water. Clean bathhouse. We didn t find staff in the office any of the many times we visited, but the free beer tap was appreciated!

Great little beach weekend stay! Pacific Dunes had good communication prior to our stay. The bungalow was beautifully decorated, clean, and well stocked. The short walk to the beach was great. Centrally located to allow us to explore Ocean Shores and spend a day in Seabrook. The walls in the bungalow are pretty thin. Very warm and cozy, but you can definitely hear your neighbors and sounds from outside. Didn t bother us much, but kept our pup a bit on edge.Definitely worth the price!

Fun experience glamping. Our glamping tent had a very comfortable bed, clean and ample room to relax. We loved hanging out on the front porch to cook, sit by the fire pit and relax. Our tent had a rip in it that needs repair but we had no issues with bugs. Bath house seemed updated with showers and they have a coffee shop on site. Overall, very quiet and all glampers, RVs, tiny homes and bungalows seemed to respect the quiet hours. The beach is a walk through a neighborhood. It was about a mile and a half round trip. After our first walk, we just drove to the beaches nearby to relax so we could bring .Rooms: Our glamping tent had a very comfortable bed, clean and ample room to relax. It was everything I had hoped for, and more. Stayed in the cute glamping tent for a couple nights. The location is great, close enough to town, but far enough to feel that camping feel. I will definitely miss the sounds of the ocean at night. The staff are so kind and inviting too. I will definitely make the 5 hour drive just to come back here again next year!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the glamping tents. The tent was cozy and the staff was incredible. We loved waking up and being able to get a latte from the main office. We were traveling to hike throughout Olympic National Forest, and we loved how close it was to drive up to the mountains.

Sweet little place with all the amenities and ocean stay alternatives from parking your trailer(which we did) to tiny houses, hotel rooms and glamping. Much attention to detail. Coffee bar is a nice touch and they are adding a little store. Lots of places to walk though getting to the beach is a little challenging due to a creek that runs parallel to the ocean and the resort . Super friendly and quiet. Not like your usual RV park, but a little short on trees.
