Matt s has always done great work on our vehicles. I trust them whole heartedly. They are great at thoroughly checking your car and telling you what is an immediate need to fix and what can wait a bit. Very helpful.

There are many places to take your car for service on south Whidbey, but I refuse to take my f150 and my partner s Audi convertible anywhere else besides Matt s Imports. They are professional, overly communicative, give fair estimates, trustworthy, knowledgeable and very friendly. They also communicate via text and provide online links for billing, if needed. Just love this place.

We have heard good things about Matt s. Our window regulator failed in our MB. For the first time we decided not to use the dealer to repair, (this has happened before) and called Matt s. We were told there was a $208 diagnostics charge, (it s a window regulator) and the charge would not go towards the repair. Is this normal or did they just not want to work on our car? I ve never been told this on any car we ve had repaired.Edited 10/10/2023I thank Matt's for their reply. The reply is correct, the diagnostics charge of $208 was not described properly by the person that answered their phone. Our description to Matt's was a non-functional window regulator. We've had this happen on the passenger side window so have some experience although we realize it might not be the regulator 100%. It was and we paid the Mercedes Dealer $1300.00 to repair it. We would have rather used a local small business and were ready to give Matt's a chance.

We've brought a couple different cars in there, both Toyota and Dodge, and they've always been great. Most recently one of their techs saved us a bunch of time and money because, after they had already said the strange noise we were having was likely due to our rear differential gear, and that we needed to take it to the dealership, he really wanted to get to the root of the problem, and discovered it was just a piece of loose trim from the roof. I really enjoy working with Matt's. They are enthusiastic communicators, professional in all dealings and they monitor the health of my car by letting me know what the watch items are and by giving advance estimates for future work that is needed which allows me to set aside the necessary funds. Very pleased with their professionalism, thoroughness and general concern for vehicle safety by monitoring wear and tear and projecting future service needs. I especially appreciate their ethics. The team at Matt s Import Haven take care of us from start to finish. They communicate with us regularly and clearly re what our cars need, and what the timeline will be. They provide clear estimates prior to doing the work. And they are very honest re what needs doing and what can be left undone. I seek and trust their advice. They provide a rental car for $10 if you need to leave the car with them. They are both professional and down home friendly. Highly recommended!I recently visited again for regular maintenance. Easy to book, easy to drop off, paid online and picked up during my lunch break. Pictures of future problems projected, quote of service was accurate. Not more money when I paid but gave me photos of things to look at in the future that may be a problem. Matt s performed routine maintenance on our vehicle. It was easy to make an appointment, and they provided a quote for their services in advance. I appreciated the ability to drop the key off early in a drop box. They completed the work at the estimated time and dollar amount. At pick-up, they explained their services and findings. I ve been using Matt s for years for all of my cars. Recently my check engine light came on as well as the stability control and traction control. After trying everything I could find on the web, I brought it to Matt s. They discovered rodents had chewed through a wiring harness deep in the V of the motor. It was dealt with quickly and efficiently. They dealt with my insurance company and got the job done. You can trust the guy s at Matt s! Thanks guys!Service: Auto engine diagnostic
