I made an appointment online, or so I thought I did. When I came by with my car that s when I found I had not. They were very accommodating and got me scheduled as soon as they could. I asked them to check my brakes and at the last minute to change the oil. As a woman I m always a little nervous when I take my car in to get checked out because I m worried they ll say there s a million things wrong with it. It s happened before at a dealership I used to take my car to once a year for an oil change and check up. There was always something wrong. Weird for a car that was driven about 5k miles a year. And it took the dealership all day to change the oil. The guys at Cle Elum automotive are friendly, fast, and honest. They ll always have my business! Thank you!!

I have gone to Cle Elum Automotive twice in the past couple months and both times the team over there did not disappoint. First time they stayed late on a Friday to finish my truck when I wasn't in a rush to get it back and recently finished my brakes and water pump a day early. I would recommend them to anyone who needs work done on their vehicle. Expectations have been exceeded both times. Fast, efficient and inexpensive.

The folks at CleElum Automotive are very friendly and easy to deal with. We had a road side emergency a while back, and they had me back on the road in 11 hours (next day).We trust them with our vehicles I believe you can too.

I was visiting our cabin in Cle Elum and my truck was making a terrible noise and I didn't know if it was safe to drive home to western WA. Brian helped me tremendously with two rides to and from our property. He found the power steering was leaking. The shop filled it so I could get home and get it repaired. I am so grateful for the help!

These guys were awesome. Rear differential broke on my Ford Escape they ordered the part and installed it soon as it came in. Friendly understanding and communicative. Will recommend to anyone

While there was a delay due to a mistake by their parts supplier for my fuel rail, they 100% did what was necessary to get my truck ready before my road trip. Great guys and appreciate their efforts and understanding the urgency I had!!

Brian and his team are absolutely wonderful. We ve had several needs for repairs on both of our vehicles over the past few months from small repairs to large repairs and the crew at Cle Elum Automotive has been just awesome. The pricing is fair, Brian always works with our sometimes challenging schedule, he communicates well and keeps us updated, and is overall just fantastic.

Cle Elum Automotive is a great place to go if you need car repairs. They helped me and my daughter when her car broke down at Swiftwater and we had it towed there. They were friendly, competent, and honest. They fixed our car quickly and charged us a reasonable price. I am very satisfied with their service and I will recommend them to my friends. About thirty minutes into a six hour drive, our passenger side window fell off the track and was stuck open. We were 45 minutes away from Cle Elum Automotive and trudged forward with a desperate hope they could squeeze us in. The automotive gods were looking down on us, and Brian took care of it within an hour for a reasonable price for the rush job. Brian was amazing, thank you again for the help!

I don t leave google reviews. My experience here was so above and beyond that I m breaking my rule.On a Friday afternoon in winter 2022-2023, my car started acting weird. I was two hours into a cross-country drive. I limped it into Cle Elum Automotive and was greeted by the owner, Brian, who said he could make time to look at my car that day, but couldn t guarantee he d get to any repairs.Within a few hours, he had a diagnosis and an entirely reasonable quote, but couldn t get the part in until Monday and didn t have a free hoist for the repair. There isn t a car rental place, Uber, or taxi service locally, but Brian recommended a few local ride options to get me to the hotel I booked for the night until I could get a friend to give me a ride back to Seattle on Saturday. Brian s other mechanic, Jeff, clearly explained the repair and helped me understand what needed to be done; he and Brian were very generous with their explanation and gave me solid advice about the risks and benefits of waiting for repairs or limping my car along. Both these gentlemen were incredibly approachable, clear and accommodating.By the time I d ordered dinner at my hotel, right around the time the shop closed for the weekend, I got another call from Brian. He told me he d gotten the part in, cleared a hoist, and my car would be ready the same day. Neither he nor Jeff would accept a tip, despite having stayed late on a Friday evening to perform unscheduled maintenance for a customer with a low likelihood of repeat business. Like I stated earlier, their price was very fair I spoke with a couple friends who repair cars themselves, and they were impressed by the deal I d scored on an emergency repair.I am not suggesting that you expect this kind of turnaround to be offered as part of your experience, but this is the best customer service I have ever experienced at any mechanic s shop. Brian and Jeff went so far beyond any expectation, and turned a crisis with half a week s delay into a loss of a few hours. If my car can make it over Snoqualmie Pass when it needs repairs next time, I ve found my forever-mechanic. I wish I could give a sixth star.Service: Electrical

My car broke down on my way through town (after having gone to my usual mechanic the day before). I d been having loads of problems that the usual dealership garage couldn t figure out . Got my car towed to Cliff s, spent an hour and a half waiting for a replacement part, and now my car runs better than it has in months. The guy who fixed my car wasn t aware of many of the problems I was having, but they all disappeared. Great service for a great price!
