The staff was amazing, I can't speak enough about how awesome they were.My daughter loved the pool, and I found the hot tub very relaxing. The room was clean, and very spacious. It was one of the better rooms we've stayed in.The only issue I had during our stay was that the bed was too firm for me. I have muscle and nerve damage, finding comfy beds for me is a difficult task - so I'm not knocking them for that, at all.

Update: changed stars due to quick response from hotel willing to help with the little problem that we encountered!Great hotel with wonderful service and location. The staff is very nice and helpful! We like how it is close to a grocery store and coffee shop. The rooms are nice but our little kids love taking baths and the drain doesn't seal. This is the 2nd room we have had here where that has been the same problem. But if that is the worse of our problems I will take it!Nearby activities: Snowshoeing and sledding

We were supposed to stay friday- check out Sunday but checked out Saturday. Asked to be refused for Saturday as we only stay with this hotel for a family get together. The other 2 family members stayed elsewhere as our kids couldn't swim. The water was like snow run off. Then they decided to paint with a VERY strong!!! Made my kids sick!! I told the maintenance the pool and hot tub was freezing and he said it would be fixed tomorrow morning (Saturday) Well i told them Saturday morning we were wanting to check out and find a hotel elsewhere. They assured us the pool and hot tub would be warming up in an hour. Soo we went to breakfast down town came back 2 hours later to a freezing pool and hot tub!! We told them it was still cold and I just wanted my money returned as this was a terrible stay between the nasty paint smells, and the trip 3 hours to stay and swim with our family was not happening! They then told me they can't refund me i tried to check out at 11:50 am and the maintenance man promised it would be fixed in the next few hours. So since we couldn't get our money back we stayed a couple more hours waiting. Went to try the pool/spa again and it was Still frozen! They then said were sorry it's broken... Soo we told them to check us out and drove 3 hours home! Ruining our childrens 4 day weekend and cutting our family gathering short! If they would have just told us they would be painting and the pool was having issues we would have canceled our stay as that was the ONLY reason we came to your hotel to swim. I am just very disappointed in the whole stay! I just wanted my money back.Worst Best Western i have ever stayed at!!

Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially checking in late at night.Breakfast was below average but seemed okay.Bed linens were threadbare, like literally fraying pillow cases at the seams.Every towel looked dingy but then we got them wet and you could really see the stains. it was so bad we didn't use them. One wash cloth had a big gray spot in the middle and the other had peachy spots that I hope were make up and not blood. Obviously a management or corporate issue, the staff seems to be doing the best they can with what little they're given.

The front desk staff (Giana) was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel and rooms were very clean and we were impressed with the breakfast! Quite a variety of food to choose from. A little bit of freeway noise but that was to be expected. I would rate this hotel a 4 and definitely stay there again!Walkability: Safeway nearby

I have traveled all over the world and this was my worst hotel experience. I have stayed here more than ten times and was not treated like a valued guest. Rooms were not that clean, hair in sink and drain, hot tub didn t work both jets and water temperature. I bussed all my own towels and took out my own garbage to the maids cart down the hall from my room. On check out. I was charged 80 dollars for towels that they claim I took. I am a teacher and security officer and don t need to steal towels. I was hurt and appalled. Bottom line avoid staying here. The manager and owner did not rectify the situation.

The Best Western Snowcap Lodge is in the town of Cle Elum, Washington. It was one of the best stays I ve ever had. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and updated. They have a pool and a gym. The food in the morning was so deliciously good. I loved the waffles . In short, I highly recommend them .

We had a fantastic stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious, with a comfy bed. The extra big bathtub in the room was a fun bonus.Breakfast was also really nice. The breakfast attendant did an incredible job! Very friendly, kept an eye on everything, and serious attention to detail -- the coffee creamers were even carefully arranged in a nice pattern.Location is great, right off the highway and next to a Safeway if you need to stock up on anything.

The 101 suite was beautiful and nicely updated. Full kitchen greatly appreciated and well equipped. Coffee machine was odd, but usable. The new trend for the top of hotel beds being so high an adult sitting on the edge (6 tall) feet do not touch the floor is not great. Nearly injured myself getting out of bed a couple of times because it requires a (small) leap. Not great at 3:00 a.m.

Service here is always friendly. This has been our go to option for five years whenever we stay in Cle Elum. Rooms are comfortable and reasonably priced. They have a military discount, and room for trailer parking in the rear. A 2 place snowmobile trailer (overall 20 foot trailer) will fit even with the plow piles, but a 4 place would be a little sketchier. The heated indoor pool is usually busy but useable, and breakfast is ok. The coffee machines in the rooms are terrible, as is the room coffee and creamer. Coffee snobs will have to walk across the street, but have both Starbucks and Gravity as options.Super easy to walk to Safeway, Starbucks, McDonald's, Gravity coffee, and the hardware store. Safeway gas available immediately in front of the hotel. Was sad to see Taco Bell closed down.Others have mentioned security concerns, and we would echo that concern. Not specifically for this hotel but the area in general. Some parking is covered by camera, and the front desk can help you select a recorded parking spot if you ask them to. We also like to get rooms that overlook our parking spot. Always lock up and don't leave anything out that would make you a target.

We were staying 1 night at the Snowcap headed home to Idaho from the Cancer Center in Seattle. The room was bigger than the tiny house we are staying in! Our day was tiring! We slept well because he mattress was amazing! We are looking for a mattress and I want to buy one just the one at the Snowcap so I called them to get the model. Checking in and out was simple! We took advantage of the hot tub. Very clean and temperature was just right! We didn't stay for breakfast but is sure smelled good.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was almost like a suite, and was very spacious for our needs. When I called in the evening I was assisted by an extremely friendly and helpful young man (who was off work at 11pm); by the time we got there his replacement was an older gentleman who wasn't nearly as personable, but I wouldn't go so far as to say he was cold towards us. Just not quite as bubbly and friendly as the kid I talked to on the phone.Room was very well kept and was very clean; everything was in order.Housekeeping staff were very friendly when we ran into them in the hall the following morning. The continental breakfast was great, as hotel breakfasts go. A make-your-own waffle station was a nice touch, as was the hot items like cheese omelettes, sausage, and biscuits and gravy. Overall a very adequate continental breakfast. We'd definitely stay here again, if we find ourselves in the area.

I stayed at the Best Western Snowcap Lodge with my wife and 5-year-old daughter from 11.24.2022. to 11.26.2022. Room was spacious, little outdated, but nice. We noticed slow water pressure in the shower, everything else was fine. Front Desk employees were polite, friendly, and accommodating. Those would be all the positive things from this stay. One thing that was immediate concern was that door wasn t working properly and you couldn t unlock it with the card. They kept it unlocked the whole day and locked it at night. Being in the room very close to the door (2nd room down) made my family uncomfortable.Breakfast that is included and served from 6:30 AM is very mediocre. Eggs were not cooked properly and tasted weird. They had gravy, biscuits, and sausages and everything else was not homemade. 2nd morning, we skipped the breakfast here and went to Safeway to get few things instead. When it comes to the pool, water is on the colder side. When we were there, few teenagers were having a snowball fight right in the pool/hot tub area. Gym is also located there, with only few machines crammed next to each other in a very small space.Around 10 AM on Saturday, we were getting ready to check out and were putting things back into the car. Someone used the opportunity that doors were unlocked for a moment and stole several valuable items from the center console and glovebox department. We went to the Front Desk, and they called Police. As I was talking to the Officer, a person of interest (known thief and drug user there) walked by and was stopped and questioned. That person went to the car parked on the other side of the Hotel, stayed there for about 15 minutes, and then drove away. I was informed that several thefts in the parking lot occurred in the past, so why is the Hotel allowing suspicious people to hang around on their property? Camera looking at that part of the parking lot covers only one side and not the side where my car was parked. At the check in, I was encouraged to park there and never informed that camera only partially covers it. After conversation was over with the Police officer, I went and talked to the Front Desk Manager, hoping they would do something to make this situation better. Manager said that they are reviewing cameras, cooperating with the police and basically, that they are not liable for a theft.Since then, I contacted Customer Relations Team in addition to submitting a survey detailing my experience. Response received was we will implement improvements to ensure better experience and hope you will consider staying with us again .This was our second stay and we planned on coming back again in December. After this experience, we will never stay here again nor will any of our friends and family members. Most of the stolen materialistic things we will be able to replace slowly, but we are sincerely disappointed with the lack of care shown by the hotel employees and the company itself. There are many options available out there, and if you value your safety and hard-earned money, Best Western Snowcap Lodge in Cle Elum should never be the one you choose

Took great care of us theStaff was super friendly and accommodating. Pool and rooms were clean and beds comfy. Nice amenities for the price. Only negative is they need a better hot water supply as it does not seem to keep up with need when they are full. Brrr... lol but the rest more than made up for it.

This was such a great stay. It was definitely the best Best Western we'd ever stayed in. The entire hotel was so clean and nice looking, even the pool room (it was the nicest, cleanest hotel pool room I've seen in a long time). The room was great, clean, and spacious. I'm so glad we picked a suite with the two person soaker tub. The breakfast was also one of the best with a great variety of foods and very clean area. On top of everything else, the staff was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back and recommend to others. Great job, Snowcap Lodge, you knocked it out of the park.

Great room, great price! Had a nice bed with a small kitchen/living room area. Amenities were good as well. Offered a continental breakfast and cookies in the evening. Shower was amazing as well, two shower heads! All in all I will definitely being going back to this place when I'm in the area!

Chelsea at the front desk was very helpful, polite and professional. She really knows what great customer service is. My kids and grandkids were able to come and visit me while i was in town and were able to use the pool. The pool and hot tub were clean and the perfect temperature. The room was nice and clean and the free breakfast was great. We would gladly stay here again.

We love the Snowcapped Lodge. The room is very clean and spacious. We love the granite counters and shower. Plenty of room for suitcases and still relax on the couch. Location is great- close to all the fun things this area offers. We will continue to come back when visiting this quaint area.

A very comfortable, well-appointed room with spa tub (and robes). The bed was extremely comfortable, very hard to leave the coziness to go hiking! I looked forward to coming back to the room after the end of a hard, physical day. The TV seemed small at first, but it can be pulled out and angled in every direction. The TV volume only increases to a certain point, which is why I believe my stay was so peaceful and quiet without everyone's TVs being too loud (including mine). The room was SO comfortable, in fact, that I added an extra day to my stay. The breakfast layout was wonderful (however, note that the breakfast hours are different on weekdays than they are on the weekends). The Safeway across the street made it easy to bring snacks and meals back to the room. I will stay here every time I need to be in Cle Elum, absolutely loved it!
