As a single woman who has very little knowledge of the workings of vehicles, Ive always been hesitant going into shops and leaving scammed. That was not the case at Phil Kassab's Auto.From start to finish, Phil was patient with me and walked me through the services my car needed, he provided me quotes, approx time each service would take and answered all my questions. I left feeling confident my car was in good hands. He kept me updated throughout the process.Phil Kassab's Auto was a great experience for me. Phil is very helpful, trustworthy and pleasant to work with. He takes his time and treats his customers with great care, and you will feel like you are a priority.Phil Kassab's Auto will be the only shop I use going forward and I recommend it to anyone!

I am new to the area and I ride a Harley, I asked Phill if he knew anyone that could help me with my kickstand spring. He not only knew someone who would help me. He told me exactly what parts to get. It's so wonderful to find truly Helpful people. I highly recommend this man. If he can't do it, he just might know who can!

I give Phill Kassab Auto my highest recommendation! My car needed a 75,000 mile check up. He did a very thorough job of explaining in detail what should be done. He stayed in contact with the repair progress and prices involved. Everything was done in a timely manner. It was a very positive experience, and I will be a repeat customer.

I had a great experience with Phillip Kassab Auto. I have known Phillip prior to him having his own shop and he has always been a great resource for me even when I've done my own repairs. I brought my 2015 suburban to Phil for a second opinion and his diagnosis for the oil leak was different than the first auto shop told me. He thoroughly looked over the source of the leak and found it coming from the rear seal, and he was correct. My suburban transmission was under warranty at the first auto shop so they did the repair and credited Phillip with the proper diagnosis. Close and convenient, I take mySuburban and F350 to Phillip for routine maintenance and recommend him to anyone.

These days finding a reputable repair shop is very very stressful. It was a wonderful experience getting my damaged bumper repaired by Phill Kassab's Auto Shop. They went above and beyond with customer service, quality of work and value.If you're looking for an honest and high-quality shop, try this car repair shop. I don't normally post on these Google reviews, but I'm tired of service providers who rush their work. I took three (3) trucks to Phill. The first truck was my 2019 Ford F350 and the reason I brought it in was because of a clunk underneath it. After being in his shop for about 3-4 weeks I picked it up and the truck still makes the clunk sound. Drove it back down to him and he had me hold the break pedal down while giving it gas, and Phil said I now need new shocks. Guess all that other work that costs me thousands wasn't needed after all. Then I took my 2018 Ford F650 down to have the power mirrors fixed. Again he had the vehicle for a long time, and then told me he couldn't fix it. Took it to Mike's Auto Repair and it was fixed in one day -- they just replaced wire in the wire harness to connects from door to mirror controller. Then I took my 2002 H1 Hummer to Phill's because it was leaking fluid. Phil said it was a rubber lines that go from the front engine compartment (AC) to the back end of vehicle. He explained it was cooling fluid leaking and he said the custom hoses would take care of the AC issue. But these "custom hoses" took months! When I returned to pick it up he charged me about $3000 and told me he couldn't spend anymore time on it -- after having it 2-1/2 months on his rack. So I had to take it down to Mike's Auto Repair to have the rest of the AC work completed. But this winter I began noticing a smell in my H1 Hummer. I personally removed the entire interior and found that Phil forgot to put a bolt back under the wheel wells that holds a rocker plate on underneath my H1. The bolt was so loose water was spraying through the bolt hole into my vehicle and ruined the interior of my custom H1 Hummer -- from front to back. Now my H1 is completely torn apart and it's no longer drivable. I'm into it thousands more to get all the interior replaced. Phil seems like a nice guy, but three cars returned and none were fixed properly. And I'm not happy about all the additional water damage that is now costing me thousands to fix because he didn't put it back together properly.

We highly recommend Phil Kassab's Auto! We have been going to Phil for years now and he has been a huge help with all our vehicles! He is great to work with. Recently our daughter's Subaru was having issues with her transmission. After his first diagnosis, he felt that a new transmission was needed. Later that evening, he called us again and shared that he had done further research about the issue and found another possible solution!!! He tried the idea and it worked!! It was a fraction of the cost. Our daughter is a recent college graduate and his going above and beyond saved her a lot of money!! How many mechanics do you know that keep researching an issue to get you a solution that works and is easier on your budget?? We appreciate his honesty and efficiency!! Phil changed my transmission fluid on my 2015 ram 5500 cummins diesel truck as well as my rear end fluid. He is very very knowledgeable. He has also done work on all of my dads vehicles. Found Phil Kassab s Auto through a friend and I could not be happier. Having a trustworthy knowledgeable mechanic working on my cars is such a good feeling. Been a customer for 4 years now. Any time I have an issue Phil is quick to diagnose the problem. His prices also can t be beat. Never have a doubt when it comes to who will work on my cars.

I have been going to phill Kassab s auto for almost a year and a half now. Phil worked on my top kick for work, ever since. I will never ever go anywhere else he s been my mechanic working on all my rigs for work. He worked on my Toyota Tacoma from bumpers to tires to oil change, timing belt, headlights, brakes, transmissions, and tuneups. I own a big construction company with 12 rigs he will be doing all the work on all my rigs for life not only he s great at what he does. His personality is top notch his smile. His sense of humor his intelligence and talent towards mechanical work is amazing. I highly would recommend him to anyone family and friends to work on their cars. I took my 2016 Toyota Sienna (with 130000 miles) in with a check engine - trac off message . I was aware that there were some deferred maintenance items that were also needed. Phil used his diagnostic computer to recommend some repairs. He performed a tune up and replaced brakes. Unfortunately the new brakes kept making a squeaking noise. There was a fault with the new part and Phil ended up having to replace them. Although the repairs required a couple return trips to the shop I was impressed that Phil stood behind his work. He always explained what diagnostic testing he performed, what the results showed, what repairs were needed and whether they needed to be done immediately or if there was still life in the part and the repair could be done later. Phill was extremely thorough with my car! Being a single mom with a business, I was super busy and he came and picked up my car for me Did a full diagnostic and gave me a full breakdown and suggestions for what it would need to get my vehicle ready to sell.He is completely honest and cares about his clients, which is why I will continue to bring all of my vehicles to him from now on. AMAZING!!!! where can I began I was on a holiday trip visiting my family in Oregon and I rented a house in Camas 3 minutes away from this location. Our car broke down and needed emergency repairs the day before our trip ended . I called all 3 dealerships near by and were booked until next year . The owner Phil gladly accepted my car on emergency work after I explained my situation and how we needed to drive to Sacramento then next day . He informed me him and his team stay late to service my vehicle and would be ready that same evening .Per Phil the owner the mechanic that fixed the car is named Mannix . I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Mannix , Phil and the whole team for helping us.

I dont think Ive ever had a better experience with a mechanic than I did with Phill. He knows his stuff! If you are looking for an honest mechanic that is customer focused I would totally recommend Phill Kassab's Auto. ONLY POSITIVE THINGS TO SAY...Phill is officially my and my husbands go to mechanic. I had an a ton of stuff going on with my car this last summer. Long story short I was being yanked around by a chain mechanic shop that cost a ton of money (most over-priced in Vancouver WA) and they misdiagnosed what was causing my car to not start. I was going to have to wait for them over a week to fix the initial check engine light going on, AND which I paid for them to diagnose what was happening and they gave me an answer but they were incorrect. Phill was sooo helpful. I've waited over a month to do this review just so I could confidently say... Holy smokes this guy went above and beyond to figure out what was going on. Thank you Phill so much. My only regret is I wish I had started this process of getting my car fixed at phills shop. I would have 100% gotten my car fixed quicker.. Thank you Phill and team that works st the shop. 6 weeks layer and my car is rocking and rolling@

I towed a 90 Chevy van there to get it diagnosed and hopefully fixed. Ended up being to much and had to get it off his property. I didn't have enough $ to get it towed so I had to park it on the side of the road and HE had my best interest in mind from this lady whose life probably sucks more than a tape worms driving up and down the street giving tickets to people parked more than two hours. For the time my car sat there and racked up a couple storage fees (I couldn't afford) I gave him what was left in my wallet and called it even. He has gotten me connected to people who are potential buyers. He is in my good grace not only for his professionalism, but his concern for what happens AFTER the car. Highly recommend for customer service.

Phill Kassabs Auto in downtown Camas is absolutely amazing! Our check engine light came on earlier this week and we took it to Phill.Phill had our car diagnosed within a day with all the extra testing equipment he has.SUPER friendly and very helpful guy. Excellent service. They found my problem right away. I'd highly recommend the shop to anyone have car trouble, and would go there the next time I need service. He diagnosed my problem and provided a solution at no cost. Saved me a lot of money. Would recommend to my friends.

I had my car towed there, my 2001 manual kia sportage stopped shifting gears and felt like clutch failure. With my vehicle's parts being discontinued, I knew it was going to be tricky for any repair. Phill was able to get me a custom made part and find out it wasn't actually an entire clutch replacement. He's great and knowledgeable, got my vehicle serviced quickly and efficiently for a decent price.

Phill replaced my power steering pump and it failed when 3 months. It took many phone calls,text, and weeks for him to stand behind his work. Just shy of a year, they othe one failed. I have tried to contact him several times and no returned calls or text. His work is shoty and will do everything he can to avoid having to stand behind it. I would love to support a local shop here in Camas, but my experience has not been great.Update...I have been trying to get in contact with you for months. Why did it take a negative Google review to get a response? Which was only 23 minutes after the negative feedback.If you remember right, you were the one who decided that you didn't have the time to do the warranty work, so you decided to cover the tow for Top Performance to do the work. That wasn't my choice, that was yours. The auto part manufacturer or store/company was the one that covered the work. I choose you to do the initial work, so the warranty should be covered by you. If you wanted to try and pass it onto Top Performace, then that should have been communicated once I attempted to contact you several times about the second failure. I would have been happy to contact them. I am guessing that they wouldn't have covered the work since you never suggested contacting them. Passing the buck is not okay! I would love to update my review to a positive review once the warranty work is completed.

I contacted Phill Kassab's Auto about a month ago to diagnose my Subaru Forester s mysterious problem with its electrical system and battery draining.While trying to identify what was causing my battery to consistently die after several days of sitting parked, I tried all the typical things. Firstly, I replaced the battery at shop in Portland after realizing its age and visible corrosion on its terminals. The car still died after two days of inactivity.Next, I brought the car to a local Subaru dealership. The mechanics at the dealership tested the battery and alternator and reported no issues. They assured me the car was in prime shape and had no identifiable electrical issues.However, the car died after two or three days of inactivity. The issue wasn t solved.Finally, I brought the car to Phil. After some investigation and testing, Phil identified that the new battery I d recently installed was bad. He also searched for any parasitic electrical drain in the car and couldn t identify one, so we agreed that we d replace the battery again and monitor the issue. Phil installed a new battery enclosure (as the one housing the battery was rusty and corroded) for free as a courtesy, which I appreciated.After a few days, the car still died which, at this point, was an issue that multiple mechanics at three different garages (including the dealership) couldn t figure out.I brought the car back to Phil and he kept the vehicle for a few days, performing an even deeper investigation into the electrical system. He checked if an electrical draw was coming from the door locks, the radio, the window buttons, or any lights in the car. He again tested the battery and alternator. Nothing was identifiably wrong.This is where Phil proved his integrity and honesty as a mechanic and a businessman. Instead of charging me a penny for his labor hours, he installed a NEW battery again, absolutely free of charge, and asked me to report ANY future issue with the car insisting that we d continue to monitor and document the issue as a team, and that he d happily investigate the problem further if the issue continued to arise. Phil could have charged me for the second battery and his multiple days of testing and labor, but didn t charge me a penny. This has secured me as a lifelong customer of his. Few garages treat their clients like this you can trust his integrity as a mechanic.Thank you, Phill.Services: Auto battery replacement, Electrical, Auto battery maintenance
