This place was recommended to me by my mom, so I had high hopes! As soon as I got there I was greeted by the employees and other customers. I had an appointment, which made everything smooth as butter. Everyone there is very knowledgeable and does the work correctly. They fixed my ac as well as fixed a leak I didn't even know I had so that I wouldn't have to come in every year. Recommended by mom's and now recommended by me. Even if you're not from the area, make your way over there for top-notch service. Thank you again, Hiline!!!

Very rude. Seems like they don t appreciate Uber/lyft inspections. They will be very rude and condescending to Uber drivers. They only do inspections from 9-12 am. They will not make appointment so go there and wait as long as they please. Or arrive and find a sign that says no inspections today don t ask . I would suggest don t do inspections at all if it makes you so miserable doing it.

Always trust them with my cars. Was quoted 740 for a brake job at les Schwab. They did it for 470. Cannot recommend these guys enough. Take your car here. Save money.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

After a long effort to get my car fixed with other mechanics, I had spent over $2k elsewhere for a head gasket I didn't need and got my car back in worse shape than when I started. The other shop had my car for 3 months and left me stranded. I called Mike and explained the whole situation asking if they could take a look at it. Even though they were very busy, Mike and his team were able to get my car in, determine it was out of time, and had it back and running to me in just 4 days.The service was fast, and I finally felt like I had someone who knew what they were doing fixing my vehicle. If you're on the fence about trying to DIY a repair or have a backyard mechanic do a bang-up job, I'd definitely recommend you avoid the headache and take it here. The shop is organized and functional, and I was impressed that they are able to handle such a high volume of vehicles with efficiency and accuracy.After 4 years in Seattle and cycling through novice techs and shady mechanics, I feel like I've found a place that I can trust to accurately and honestly diagnose my car problems and get me taken care of quickly and affordably.Thanks Mike & crew!

This store is listed in Uber /Lyft's authorized vehicle inspection locations and the timings they gave them is from 10am to 5pm.Last year, when I was here for my vehicle's inspection, they said their inspection guy isn't available, and this time I also visited twice just to get the e disappointment again.First time I was arrived at the store at 12:55 pm and they said they don't vehicle inspections after 12:45pm and sent me back.And today I drove 30miles just to read the rude sign that says ( "No Uber, Lyft and Taxi Inspections today, DON'T ASK)I understand this is a auto repair shop and you guys must be always very busy, but you people should also need to know that others time is important as well, we also take out time from our busy schedule.If you can't afford enough people to provide services, then it's just better to cancel the contract from rideshare companies for the vehicle inspection services rather than wasting people's time.

Hiline is an auto repair place in the Burien area. They are always busy but get cars in and out pretty fast. They're one of the ride share car inspection services in the area, which usually takes about 20 minutes and no appointment needed. The staff here are super friendly and ready to get you what you need as quickly as possible.

Mike and his team are fantastic. They are really professional and treat everyone respectfully and only do repairs that are needed for safety of you and your vehicle. Hard to find honest mechanics but we've got one here in Burien.

Extremely satisfied! I ve used this shop with multiple vehicles now and each time I got an appointment promptly, the repairs were accomplished same day, and the bill was very reasonable.

Had brake service done there several years ago and needed to have them checked again, as the Nissan dealer had done a service check and recommended replacement. I was satisfied with the service the first time and their reasonable pricing. This last visit today Hiline found that that we only needed rear brakes and that's what they replaced. The cost was very reasonable, like the first experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. You should expect a great experience.Service: Brakes

Best place to go for repair with Mike and his team. I can't thank you enough for your wonderful job on my 1999 lexus rx300 to get back on the road in a very short time after someone told me that I need a new engine .I would recommend this place to anyone in need for good customer service and repair. Yes, I don't look like a native American, nor speak the same accent as this guy does. Shame on you, but this is America & I'm proud to be a citizen of this country where I can get ample choices.It was one of the worst experiences I faced as a person of color, and I can only tell you to go to this place only if you are looking to digest yourself.

I used Hiline twice for electrical repair on my pickup truck and both times they took care of me well. The second time there was a scheduling mixup and they made it right by squeezing my vehicle in the schedule in a reasonable way.Their communication is top notch and these are the type of people I like to deal with. Forgot the guys name since it's been a while but went in for an oil change, dude took it in almost immediately and I was back in it drive home within 30 mins. Topped up fluid and let me know of a potential oil leak. The oil leak was just old oil on the plastic cover but glad he told me about it so I could check it out

Very rude customer service!I called them to schedule a vehicle inspection and they told me to come. When I go their on my appointment time, one of the mechanics literally said to me I don t want to do it today. I didn t became a mechanic to work on a rain . What a great professionalism! If you don t want to do it, don t schedule appointments. If you tell customers to come, do it inside the shop. It s as simple as that.

Just came in for a quick vehicle inspection for Uber. Seemed like they were pretty busy but Mike was able to get right out and do the inspection immediately. It sucks that it costs $50 for such a quick and easy thing but that's what every shop charges. Mike was friendly and got me back out on the road in no time.

Mike and his crews are very professional, honest, friendly, polite, helpful and the price is extremely fair. I could not find a local auto mechanic like this wonderful and amazing auto shop in Burien. Mike got my exhaust systems, recharged A/C, and checked all appropriate parts of my car that needed to be checked. I am extremely happy that his shop got these repairs done just in less than 1 hour (the same day, 8/17 dropped off at 8:30 am). My appointment was scheduled for next Tuesday, 8/21, but my car was ready at noon about 1:30 pm on 8/17. Please keep up the great work that you have been doing. We have many cars that will need to be repaired or serviced by Highline Auto Repair (Mike and his crews) for many years to come. We are very grateful and thankful for these wonderful services.Thanks,Sam

Those guys are extremely rude! You can hear they complaining about the Uber drivers that come for inspection all the time. The service was extremely fast (5m or less) and quite pricy $50. I would recommend go somewhere else! It is not worth being disrespected by those guys.

In today's world it's difficult to find an honest and qualified mechanic that you can trust. Mike and his shop is exactly that. I trust Mike and his employees completely and recommend his shop to all my friends. I couldn't ask for anything better than what Hiline Auto Repair offers to all it's customers, quality work at a fair price.

Had car trouble after I moved here in 1988 and went to Hiline Auto. I haven't gone anywhere else since! Mike has gone above and beyond so many times, he's the best. Always excellent service.

We have been taking our three cars and our in-laws cars there for years. Totally honest bunch of guys. Mike races on the side and all of the mechanics are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We trust the guys to the max and highly recommend them to anyone. There have been several times we have taken our cars or trailers to them on short notice with a light out for example and they fixed it for free. We took our Kia to the dealership for a 60,000 mile check and they wanted 600 dollars and Mike did it for half that price. Can't say enough about them.

Our experience with Hiline Auto Repair was outstanding! A local dealer wanted to charge significantly more to repair our SUV. Mike and his quality mechanics were able to save us a ton of money and get us back on the road in no time. We will definitely be recommending and using Hiline Auto Repair in the future.
